  Nice place at a great price. Stayed at many places in Melbourne for work but stumbled on this for a trip. Nice place with great rooms and must stay here again

  Super convenient place - extra friendly & accomodating staff - everything you need. Man on desk gave amazing Melbourne advice on what to see and how to get around. Waited up for me to check in after my flight was delayed. Friendly, funny, kind, I think I will come back just for the great service !

  The location is superb! The facilities at this motel are basic but very clean/neat & we were comfortable living there for a couple of days. We were out most of the day so "basic" was what we needed. Good value for money & I'd be happy to stay there again. Only gripe was that the WiFi didn't work and I had to rely on my 4g.

  I had the Standard Single Room on the 6th floor. I stayed Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun nights. I could not hear any other guests during my stay (good). Friday night drunkies on Swanston St woke me and this was easily fixed with ear plugs. Every other night/morning no sound problems. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  Friendly staff, clean rooms, good prices, overall aged but mantained. Keep in mind that noise may be a issue so book a high room and bring headphones or earplugs. Also bring your own tea and milk also (if you use)

  Motel's location is superb! Right next to the Federation Square and Flinders Street Station. The rooms were quiet and had all the amenities. Check in and check out were hassle free. Whilst clean, rooms and bathroom can certainly be improved. Reception area is very small. They forgot room service on our first day so had to remind them next morning. Reception should be 24 hrs or at least an emergency phone number. But the only thing that really put me off was deposit - $250 per room? And if you don't pay cash and use credit card instead, the deposit refund process is very complex, like the bank will hold the money and will release it after 5-6 business days once the hotel acknowledges etc etc. If you indeed need a deposit, consider improving the deposit refund process.

  Friendly staff and cheap prices for rooms.
  
  The rooms are clean and a comfortable size. All the basic comforts are included. Shower had good water pressure, taps had cold clean water and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
  
  On the downside any used crockery is not cleaned when the rooms are made up during the day unless specifically requested. Free Wi-Fi is included but it performed inconsistently for us.

  Located right in the centre of Melbourne, with easy access to all the shops and alleyways that make Melbourne interesting. Econo Lodge City Square provided a great room and location. Services were great but they offered wifi, it was not connected to the internet.

  The room was fairly basic but comfortable. Plates and cups were not taken away and washed even when requested (room did not have its own kitchen so could not do ourselves). Towels were changed upon request.
  The location is fantastic, price was great and staff were friendly. Will be staying again next time we visit Melbourne.
