The room we stayed in was nice, spacious and well maintained. We did have an issue with the cooling of the room and the AC needed to be turned right down.
Although we were situated on the 7th floor - we did find we heard a lot of noise, whether it was from the plant of the other buildings in the vicinity or noise travelling from street level. I would have though there maybe would've been better sound-proofing?

The hotel was well represented by friendly supportive staff. I was fortunate to enjoy a suite right on Swanston St, and it was fantastic I would gladly stay there for a holiday having said that there was some street noise throughout the night breakfast in the restaurant was a little chaotic.. it was so busy that when getting up to gather a coffee or food,,the table was cleared and someone else sat at the tablethis happened to me on both mornings and to several others around me

Nice decent hotel. Totally worth the money.
Quite rooms, climate control was nice,
In the heart of CBD. Courteous staff.
Few things which can be improved
    Toothbrush with paste in toilet.
A few variety in breakfast esp in the tomato and hash brown( ate it for 4 days). Can put in something else like corn or mushrooms etc

Limited inter action with staff, front desk team very helpful when asking for information and assisting with bags. Room and floor in need of a refurbishment while clean somewhat dated. TV had sub titles showing and when looking to take them off TV would revert back. I did not bother to call for assistance as not a big problem for us. But may need to look at it for next guest stay. The only other area of the hotel we used was the gym which like our room could do with a refurbishment and bigger space. We did ask for a quite room which we got thanks for that. Big thanks to Nigel for arranging the Welcome gift and wine on arrival this was very much appreciated. In a nutshell Location 10/10 for shopping and exploring fantastic cafes/restaurants etc.

Staff were courteous helpful & friendly. Standard of room was very good. Appreciate the guest laundry facilities. Cleaners always did a good job & were always happy & friendly to us. The concierge happily issued our boarding passes for the flight back to Perth.
I had a problem on the first night when after a shower I went to bed. At 2.00am I woke up to find that I was scratching my left ankle as it was very itchy. In the daylight I could see that something/s had bitten me multiple times. This happened on the first night only so it might have been something in the carpet which was vacuumed up the next day. The duty managers were genuinely concerned & had the room cleaned again thoroughly. On the last day, we arrive back to our room after going out & were surprised to see a bottle of red wine, a box of chocolates & a note of apology from management.
We have stayed at the property numerous times & would not hesitate to rebook with them.

The service was friendly and the check in was very welcoming and quick which was fantastic.

the room was clean and tidy and large enough for our needs.

Our surprise and disappointment was going to the bar for a drink. The bar was stale smelling and the furniture grungy and felt unclean and old. It felt like a very ordinary pub that was cheap and nasty. I would not go to the bar again in future visits.

The hotel is in a great area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The room had lots of fabric furniture and curtains. They were very dusty. Due to the dust I coughed and sneezed and got a sore throat. It was gone as soon as we left.

It was fine small room, but not too bad. A bit of street noise, but fine with earplugs. Not amazing, not terrible. Good value though.

Rooms are quite small and not always the cleanest or quietest. I would recommend that you ask for a room not close to the elevators or you will get no sleep. Great location in the heart of the CBD and quite reasonably priced but wouldn't be my first pick of places to stay.

Great location in the heart of the CBD. Room had an amazing view. Bed was very hard and pillows very uncomfortable. Lovely swimming pool, but takes up nearly whole room so very little seating around it. Food tray to be collected sat outside room next door all day. Staff never asked at checkout how stay was, showed no real interest.
