Nice, sociable hostel. You get what you pay for but everything was still lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the frequent shuttle bus to and from the city was incredibly convenient. They have a great info area and lots of connections in town. The room was average, but it's to be expected from budget accommodation. Would stay here again.

Accommodations were hmmmm It is a hostel so leave your expectations at the door. If you are from northern USA or somewhere similarly developed you will likely be very disappointed, but you get what you pay for.
All 3 stars are for the Asian lady at the front desk. I think her name is Lilue. She is always bubbly, happy, friendly, polite, and super helpful. Thank you Li, you are amazing.
There is a shuttle bus by the way. I didn't make use of it to and from the airport but it is a nice way to save a few bucks. I mainly used the shuttle which went directly to the cairns night market by the waterfront. That is a really nice perk.

We stayed almost a week but due to our prebooked trips and our spontaneous check-in (directly on the counter 'we need a room now') we had to change rooms a lot, but the staff was so helpful and flexible with that and we were happy to find such a nice place. We liked the atmosphere: very relaxed, calm, uncomplicated. Nice sitting area, the kitchen looked tiny, but always enough space to cook and prepare meals. The rooms were quiet standard, nothing special, just all you need and mostly clean. Free storage room, free wifi, free aitrport shuttle. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the place!

Friendly enough staff, i booked a twin room with ensuite which i didn't get, there was one toilet out of order for the time i was there also only one shower usable on our level. The place is in definite need of a tidy up.
After 11pm was supposed to be 'quiet time' yet revellers still going at 1:30am some nights
Excellent position, walking distance to city centre, esplanade, and marina.

Location at Njoy has been super convenient as you are very close to the central hub of things in Cairns. They offer a variety of activities and social events you can attend. Rooms and service have been nothing to complain about.

Nice staff. A bit of a party atmosphere without being too loud. Seems suitable for families as well. On site parking extremely limited so if this is important to you enquire first. Free on street parking around the corner 150m or so away.

Really nice and cool vibe. Not too party oriented, but not too dead either! Only downside is the shortage of power outlets. 2 outlets in a 4-bed dorm 🤔 doesn't really work.. other than that I loved it!

Room was clean, and furniture was in good shape for a hostel, having the sink in the room was awesome! Bathrooms were pretty clean. The common areas were very good, and pool was nice. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby was fast. But what really made this place great was the staff! They were all very helpful, friendly, and informative! Would definitely stay again!

I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm, the room was nice and clean, there was enough space for everyone and their luggage and the staff was really nice. Would recommend staying there.

This hostel is a really good option in Cairns for those who aren't mad for the craziness of Gilligans. It has a really good atmosphere, the kitchen is clean and well stocked, the rooms are nice (our 4 bed dorm had the added bonus of a private fridge which was really useful). The girls bathrooms were a bit dirty (according to my girlfriend) but the boys were fine, though not modern or super clean - but it's a hostel not a hotel so no issue there. Free shuttle to the airport was also much appreciated. Definitely a good, laid back option for travellers in Cairns and would certainly reccomend!

Njoy is an awesome hostel. We always stay here when we visit Cairns. The staff are lovely. Its a short walk to everything in Cairns but there is a shuttle bus as well. Private rooms are spacious, clean and have their own sink and fridge. 100% recommend this hostel.
