Great facility with good amenities - aside from the elevators which have a mind of their own. Free WiFi and serviced rooms would take it closer to a 5 star rating

Room tiny. Supposed to be ocean view, maybe if i stand on the balcony handrail. Also balcony was descibed as spacious. 1m x 4m with table and 2 chairs leaves no room to be spacious.

Fantastic location, in room facilities were great you can cook your own meals. Pool was good too and the staff were very helpful.

One of the smallest hotel rooms I have stayed in. No daily housekeeping, one towel rail in the bathroom big enough to hang a face washer on we have had to hang our bath towels in the wardrobe. Broken tiles on bathroom floor. No stand for putting your suitcase on. Ironing board was broken. There is a desk in the room but there is so little room between the desk and the bed that you can't get a chair under it .. partner had to work hunched over the computer on the bed. No safe. Very limited parking, often have to park on the street. Overall the worst accommodation I have stayed at in Cairns. Would not stay here again.

We paid for a hotel room that was not serviced. While I appreciate this led to a cheaper fare the fact that this was not made explicit in my booking details was quite annoying (had to scan through quite a bit of small print to find this out).
This would lead me to expect that when rooms are cleaned, they are cleaned thoroughly. This was not the case with my room. While it was okay it wasn't great. Room required some maintenance as well.
All in all, won't stay at Triology again and will be highly skeptical of other Mantra hotels.response / report this review -

Rooms have been gutted .. no TVs in bedrooms .. just sockets where they used to be .. carpets dirty Furniture missing .. double instead of two singles in kids room No bedside tables in kids room .. cupboard doors in main bedroom fall off when you open them Pool has algea .. tiles in lifts broken .. holes patched in apt ..Nails where pictures were.. no Foxtel . Finally FREE wifi 30 dollars thanks Wtf??? Free means free no money . I have rented better quality in Woodridge . Disgusting. Barely a 2 star hotel definately NOT the four and a half star I paid for.

Rooms were nice however the bathrooms were a little dated (Tower 3), the tiles made it feel like a public bathroom. Three of us checked in under the same booking and we were all placed in different towers, not the end of the world but made life tougher while we were travelling for work and had a lot of gear that all needed to be together.

Cairns is a wonderful place to stay during September. Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. Generally clean. There was no visitor guide in the apartment, so that was a minus. Car park was atrocious. Too small and smelly. Was told to park outside if there was no spots. Pool was nice, with a large area for toddlers.
