You deserve 1 star for the hotel services but the blue lagoon grill was awesome they deserve 5 stars. Room was filthy with evidence of the last tenants in the draws and fridge and pool was also filthy was there for several days and it didn’t get cleaned so missed out on a swim was freezing cold water anyhow. reception staff was rude and lazy didn’t even stand up to welcome us. Parking facilities are poor at best with no allocations and minimal spaces. Most importantly my partner left many personal belongings in the bathroom by mistake and we rang up reception just a few hours after checkout. to find out the items had been “thrown away” they had our contact details, and a phone call before our belongings were destroyed or stolen would have been more then appreciated. I was very surprised this happened after finding things from the previous people staying there. Very very disappointed. Blue lagoon Feel free to contact me to resolve these issues.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon. Beautiful grounds, pools and very nice staff. We really enjoyed walking around and seeing the wallabies at night. Only problems were the air conditioning, which was on full blast but really didn't cool the room, and the wifi was very flimsy. But thank you for a great time.

For me our appt is quite lovely, roomsl spacious enough. As we are staying for 2 weeks a few things could be improved. Not enough draws to put away clothes, there is adequate hanging space. Washing machine is quite old & doesn't do what you'd expect it to do. General lighting not enough to read by or do any craft or board games at night. The view from our balconies are wonderful. The lagoon is peaceful. Good place to stay

Great position, close to lovely restaurants, nice walk around the lagoon, 2 blocks to the beach one way, 10 minute walk to the shops.
We had a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. It was lovely. Well appointed, easy to use kitchen.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of chairs and tables around the pool.

Great staff, beautiful rooms with fully equipped kutchen. I was in a studio apartment. Mel at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful in finding the right apartment as a walk-in. Had a great stay. Comfortable beds and close to everything. My only issue was loud residents in the pool area. Unfortunately it always happened after hours. Would definitely return.

Great resort, great rooms with only downside being that aircons in rooms switch off after a couple of hours but I have heard that this is being changed. If so, the resort would be close to perfect. Good location, large rooms that are well equipped and friendly staff.

The room we got was great, a fantastic view over the lagoon and all the aminities you could ask for. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and the local food has been great too. Would recommend again!

Once again, a perfect stay.. My spacious studio room suited me really well, wanted for nothing.. Seamless check in and out.. I enjoy off peak, aiming for Late Oct '16 and late Feb '17 stays so far.. Have family in FNQ and this location is ideal for entertaining with very good pool and BBQ facilities.. Recommend provisioning up at Smithfield Mall, the local Supermarket is great but I only used them once to top up..

Great accomodation in a tranquil setting. Loved the one bedroom apartment with deck straight onto the pool. Everything you need for your stay. Perfect for couples nice and quiet and private! Staff friendly and helpful with booking tours. Beautiful spot! Would recommend and will definitely be back..
