Very unfriendly and unhelpfull security staff at entrance. Eapecially when you are white. Very disappointing experience that i hope note to experience again in my life

Place was hecticly busy and although we stood fr a full day waiting to be assisted we wer turned away, they need to be more helpful and have consideration fr the elderly need to have a better system that works faster and promptly.
Ques are long nobody communicates with you people still sitting outside that arrived before 5:00am waiting to get into the building this morning they already decided that they were not going to help everyone and sent people home already.pathetic service
I saw they doing Corruption and doesn't work very well
Good day. Your guy at the door. Dont hve his name. Sorry to use color. He is a coloured guy. He is small but wonderful in all which ways. He is a real asset to sassa person. Outstanding. Every one also great but he stands out. Thx for your service
Staff not do what they suppose to do they don't interact with you like other stations, let you stand in ques for hours just to tell you round about 14:00 that you can go home as they would not be able to assist as the systems is of since the morning. As at Eesterivier they communicate with the people and keep them informed, "well done Sassa Eesterivier"
It was a very long and hard day.I do applaud them for working till 7 trying to help us all. There was just to many people and just so much staff can do at a time.I shall try again tuesday .Please thank the staff for trying so hard to keep up.
It will be good if sassa can take this message to all municipality in the country or invite all stakeholder to bried them
I don’t know what to do now that I’m not getting my disability they say what you should do replace the new card or get my papers to renew and if we renew are need to see the Sassa doctor again and where we going to see the doctor you can’t even get into the clinic or the hospital so what should a person do because now we have to stand in that long lines to be send home again
Good just keep your sochile Dustin's well good God is good
So bad the lines are about 2 blocks. I was the exact 5am in the morning. Was turned away..🤔😔😪 it delays everything as my last payment was 5 Dec now I need to try and renew. I already suffer from anxiety, but to go through this is causing more anxiety. 😪😪
My daughter's disability grant lapsed and we had to go to Belville office Sassa this morning for renewal. I especially called Sassa office in Capetown yesterday to find out which days do disability grant renew their applications. I was told on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. This morning we left at 4h50 and arrived in Belville at 5h15,already the que was unbearable, as people already arrived from 3hoo.Making the best of our time, we waited till 7h30.There was at least 200 people there for disability grants, everyone arriving on different times, traveling far with taxes, old and young, even those who are struggling to walk. I felt sorry for everyone. Finally people start talking, I could see the anxiety in their faces. I walked in front of the line, into the office and they said only child support today, I couldn't believe my eyes and ears, from 5h15 to 7h30 standing all for nothing.,just to get rejected and come back on Friday. People even asked security if the ques are for disability grants and he said yes, Really nobody know what's going on. I am angry and furious, my heart goes to those people that has no money for transport and who can bearly walk. REALLY I Am A Very Angry Citizen at the moment.
Very with the help off Carmen Hendricks she was excellent
I stood in a queue about 15 people. Queue never moved for more than an hour. After I put up a scene with officials, it started moving fast. Was also told that my 88yr old father had to queue. When we got to be first in queue, an official told me it wasn't necessary for him to queue as he was older than 75yrs old. It was second time within five days that he was told to queue. Why weren't we made aware of this by officials in the first place. CRUEL OF YOU. Amagine it was your 88yr old parent ??

Thanks much.
Thanks much.
When applying for old age grant, rather go 14:30. Hardly no cues, be ready to be greated by awesome security staff, actual SASSA employees, kinda grumpy. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience
This is the most incompetent office ever! I cannot even put into words how much bad service this office offers! So disorganized! You stand in a queue from 5am till 4pm and still get no assistance and get sent back. Same thing happens when you come back again the following day🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Ive made 3 new friends we.r.sitting behind each other
Long queues despite an appointment. The aged has to stand soooooo long in these queues and very little compassion displayed
Apparently 3 staff members at sassa was infected with covid 19. Offices at this building is kept closed and has been since 2 June 2020. No visible notice up indicating such or when they'll reopen but was informed by security personnel.
Had the worst experience at this office. From the officer to the cleaner. Was serviced by the most inhumane individual I have ever met, Ms M Webb. Who perhaps have never tasted unemployment in her life before. This was the Second send about the town in two weeks and left my children in tears.
We had nothing but great service and assistance at SASSA Bellville offices. Marinda Webb is truly an amazing person that takes a great deal of pride in her work. My aunt was helped with professionalism and someone that goes above and beyond.
Long process and they have no respect for their clients especially the office manager . Respect comes both ways !!
Because it takes forever to be helped and the people are constantly making a helva noise and the children are just as noisy. And the seats are very uncomfortable and the toilets are not up to scratch.
They only do Old Age Pensions on a Monday and they only accept applications for specific areas but none of this information is available on the SASSA website. It seems you have to go at least twice. First time to get information on all the documents you need and the second time to actually hand them all in. If you are there on behalf of somebody, you have to use their forms for the affidavit giving you permission despite what the website tells you. The place is clean and reasonably well organized but be prepared to be there a long time. The consultant I saw on the first visit was fantastic but this was totally spoiled on the second visit. I am now trying to arrange a home visit for my Mother but of course their phone never gets answered. Sigh!! (2 Stars overall)
Later: Eventually got through and the lady could not have been more helpful. On the basis of this and my first visit experience I am changing the review to 4 stars. They have a tough job and you must just be patient
Too crowded and not well organised. Just have to wait your turn. If you're still there at the end of the day, you have to return and do it all the next time you go again. Unfortunately it can't be helped as completing an application takes up to 45mins per applicant. So be patient and enjoy the company around you with your packed breakfast and lunch too.
Long ques, no air-conditioning however worth the wait.
I went to sassa in match 2018 for a child grand I give them all the form and papers its been 9 months that I'm still waiting for a child grand I went back 3 times they keep telling me its under investigation and today I'm still waiting
It makes life easy
Had to do a card swop for my severely disabled daughter. The staff at this office are just amazing and so understanding they are to be commended for their service excellence. As I have two disabled daughters only one was non compliant when it came to fingerprints and how easy they managed.to get her to cooperate.
.
I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE I SAW PEOPLE RECEIVE FROM EMPLOYEES AT THIS SASSA BRANCH ..THERE WAS ONE SOMALIAN MAN WITH HIS TWO DAUGHTERS HE WAS EARLY IN ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE IN LINE BUT HIS PAPERS WAS NOT RIGHT AND HE WENT TO GO FETCH SOME PAPERS.HE CAME BACK BUT WAS SEATED AT THE BACK .AT 3:30 PM A INDIAN LADY MISS A AJAMDIEM CAME OUT AND SAID THEY WONT BE HELPING ANY MORE PEOPLE BECAUSE AN APPLICATION TAKES 45 MIN THEN ASSISTED OTHERS .THERE WAS TWO PEOPLE LEFT THIS MAN AND ONE MORE LADY THAT ALSO CAME BACK .WHILE HE WAS EXPLAINING TO THIS THIS LADY THAT HE WAS THERE EARLY BUT HAD TO GET MORE PAPERS SHE RUDELY TOLD HIM THAT IF HE WAS THERE EARLY HE WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPED AND CLOSED THE DOOR IN HIS FACE THIS WAS 3:30 PM I WITNESSED THIS AND CONFRONTED HER ASKING HER WHY THEIR OFFICE HOURS STATES 4 PM BUT SHE IS DONE WORKING AT 3:30 PM I ASKED HER FOR HER NAME BUT SHE REFUSED I ASKED HER IF SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG WHY WOULDN'T SHE GIVE ME HER NAME AND SHE THEN LEFT.. THERE WAS ONE GUY DOING SCREENING AND HAD TO GO RELIEF INQUIRIES AND AT THIS TIME THE LINE STOOD STILL WHAT I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT IS WHY WHEN INQUIRIES WAS CLOSE THEY COULDN'T HELP THIS ONE GUY WITH HIS SCREENING SINCE THEY WERE JUST STANDING AROUND..THIS BEFORE CLOSING TIME???PEOPLE THAT WAS THERE FROM BEFORE 7 AM WAS NOT HELPED ..I WORK AT A CALL CENTER WHEN MY SHIFT ENDS AT 6 PM AND I RECEIVE A CALL AT 5:59 PM I HAVE TO TAKE THAT CALL ..THIS IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE..YOU SHOULD TRY AND ASSIST PEOPLE TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY..IS THIS NOT EVERY COMPANIES GOALS AND VALUES..WHAT I SAW WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL ..ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS IS A GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS
Very dissapointed this morning, bringing my Mom for Sassa card swopping was one of few people here at past 07:00 on 2018-06-23. People started entering and the first few went in things looked well but then when seats had to be moved people that was at the end of the row started pushing in and the security says the people must sort themselves out. Why was there no control of where the people are starting and where people must start filling seats. People started arguing which is there right as they just get pushed further back in line. It is now 9:29 and my Mom with others are still waiting. So much for coming early.
Their service
