It is no Cabana Bay but the room was nice and comfy and it is close to everything. They had great happy hour drink deals and a nice pool. The area surrounding the hotel looks a little sketchy, I would not recommend an area jog or walking anywhere but I'd stay again.

***Note: This review is incomplete as we are still within our stay here*** After being here for a day and a half, we've found the staff to not be helpful at all. The bathroom sink is stopped up. We notified the front desk at 7 am of this issue and was told that nothing could be done until after 9 am after someone from maintenance showed up for work. We've returned to our room after being at Universal for the whole day and no one has done anything to fix the sink. We requested extra towels and instead of them being delivered to our, the front desk told us that we would have to pick them up ourselves (slight inconvenience, but out of the norm for most hotels). We needed an extra comforter for the couch bed as there were only sheets on there and was told that they didn't have anymore and that was the end of the story. No follow up, nothing. With the exception of the young lady who assisted us at check-in, the staff have all been rude and not helpful at all. We have 3 more days until check out and I honestly would rather move to another hotel, but the attitude of the staff makes me feel that getting my money back would become an unnecessary hassle that I don't feel like dealing with. If things improve between now and Tuesday, I will gladly amend this review. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here unless you absolutely have no other choice when visiting Orlando.

Decent hotel! Room was clean. No fridge in room we stayed in tho. Breakfast included with stay. It was good but employees clean up early. So get there before it ends at ten. Free shuttle to parks too. But make sure you get there early. Bus driver leaves about five to ten mins ahead of scheduled times. So plan accordingly or you will miss bus. They also have a pool, spa, and basketball court. And a mini arcade room.

My stay was nice. The room was clean, the employees were nice (if just a bit slow). My only issue was the breakfast; it wasn't very good or had much variety, but hey, you get what you paid for.

If you're not planning on using any of the amenities, I totally recommend staying here! It's super close to the theme parks (you could walk to it if you wanted to) and it is in a very quiet area, so it is very peaceful to sleep and rest for the night. Good for the price, great for the location.

Room size was good, sheets were gross, the pillow case were dirty, toilet felt like it was falling apart and the breakfast was disgusting. During breakfast I legit throw my food into the trash before sitting now because I had saw one person pick up the food from the buffet with his hands and another dumped his toast into the yogurt that everyone has to share from. I was soo upset I said it out loud that this is horrible and lets go to Denny's. Even the sight of the eggs were awful to look at. While during my stay, I had met a couple that were staying there for free because a so called friend worked there. The reason for them staying was that they were homeless and were robbed. Sad right? but he was money for weed and smoked it near the pool area while his pregnant girlfriend is begging because they have no money for food?!?!?! I'm sorry but come on! For the money I spend, I thought I was getting a little more than I got. Next time I'll be doing my research and the amount of money I spend I should of put it on the Hilton or so.

Dingy hotel, small rooms. Buffet breakfast is pathetic compared to what you get at la Quinta, holiday Inn etc. Hotel staff were OK, some friendly but some lazy. Hotel was very humid inside the hallways and elevator. The elevator is also very slow.. Very painful to go up and down as it is so hot in there. Almost suffocating and uncomfortable. I would never stay here again. I regret booking a ten day trip here

Convenient location and good room prices. It is nothing fancy, but for basic hotel needs it is perfect. The free hot breakfast is decent, and the rooms are clean, but the service leaves a little to be desired. The front desk was very busy with calls and make you wait. One worker was friendly checking us in, but another was a bit rude to us the next day when we were inquiring about a shuttle to Universal. Apparently the "free shuttles" need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Meaning if you are planning to go to the parks the day after you check in, then you will not be able to utilize their shuttle.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Comfortable rooms, decent breakfast - nothing very elaborate. Provide free shuttle to Universal studios and Disney. The business center has printing services, they have a nice small outdoor pool, the elevator is super slow. Good for a few nights stay if you're spending most of your time at the theme parks and just want to crash at night on a comfortable bed.

The rooms are very nice, the food is a lot better than most other hotels, and the furniture is very comfortable. There is the occasional roach but it's Florida what do you expect? There is no oven to bake with the kitchenette too which is weird

Very affordable and clean. It's close to Universal Studios and there is a shuttle that will take you there and back. We also had complimentary breakfast that was a nice buffet!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We got a suite with 2 queen beds, pull out sofa and kitchen. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly. For the price and location, which was near many major attractions, I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my wife and 16 month old daughter during a conference. I don't think you can find a places anywhere else on I drive for this price and all the amenities included. Sure it's a "budget" hotel but it includes a heated pool , free shuttles, free parking, hot breakfast and large rooms- Amenities that more upscale hotels will charge you for. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling with young kids. Also - Wednesday and Friday you get two free cups of beer or glass of wine !

The staff went over and above to get us into a room even though we were very early. The room was nice. The bed comfortable..which is very important for me. The breakfast area was too crowded though and we had to eat in our room. On the plus side they did provide disposables so you could take breakfast back to the room. I would recommend this hotel.
