The hotel was overwhelming to walk into, as we arrived we were very impressed. Service was quick and friendly. We were able to get checked in earlier than the posted time even. The room was pretty small but clean and tidy. Bathtub was a little wonky and sometimes acted like there was no hot water. Could hear all noises from the hallway which was annoying, but overall not much to complain about. Wonderful view from our particular room too.

This is not my first time at this hotel but it was my best experience with the staff. They were more professional, helpful, and put together than in past years. The beds are a little hard and the blankets are very very very thin. The pillows are extremely flat and hard. Next time I will bring an extra blanket and my own pillow so I can sleep better. The walls in the downstairs area are paper thin and you can hear everything. We had a double room that was extremely small, four people fit in the room bit only barely and with unpacking all our bags into the drawers. The beds were tiny too, two people barely fit. Definitely not queen beds.

Twice I have attended a large conference at this hotel. It's nearby location to the subway is very convenient, just a couple minutes walking. For an academic conference I felt the conference rooms were an appropriate size and most of our even fit in the hotel. There is always a long line for coffee even when there aren't that many people. Overall it's interior is very nice and there are some good restaurants nearby. There are no pan handlers.

The hotel is a lovely hotel. Our attendance was for a conference. The amenities were fantastic and the staff lovely. The only thing I found annoying was the lack of lighting in the guest rooms. It would be nice if the entryway had brighter lights. The conference center was spectacular and Fresh Bites simply delicious!

Best Hotel in the neighborhood. The front desk are professional and friendly. The house keeping is great. They have restaurant s and bars inside. You need not step out for anything even during late hours. Great place to stay with family and kids

This Marriott has a fantastic location directly adjacent to the metro and walking distance to the zoo or Adams Morgan. Some rooms have a great view of downtown, the capital and Washington monument. The room I was in was updated and modern. The one negative was noise from the hallway. The doors do nothing to block sound. Housekeeping was also very loud in the halls, talking and laughing starting at 9 until the end of the day.

Well equipped hotel to meet most any need. Great for conferences. Staff are extremely courteous. Hotel is steps from the Metro station and in a nice location. Hotel is also a few blocks from the National Zoo.

I've attended several conferences here, but not stayed as an overnight guest; so this review is more about the conference facilities and such than about the regular hotel guest experience.

The Marriott Wardman Park has a beautiful, spacious, and hospitable conference facility. The food served is absolutely top-notch, definitely a cut above typical hotel/conference buffet fare. The personnel are consistently helpful and courteous.

Awesome service! I stayed on the Concierge floor and had access to the lounge. The lounge staff was exceptional, especially Flora. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Everything was clean and the pictures of the rooms online reflect the rooms in person. Highly recommend.

Great location right off the Woodley Park metro station. Numerous venues available for conferences and meetings with good WiFi signal. The staff are very quick go take care of your needs in general. For instance, clearing the table, bringing beverages, creating additional searing, and taking care of technical issues with any presentations. I wish the front concierge was not so overwhelmed with guests and overall more accessible to provide answers for out of town guests. The food overall was just OK -- leaning towards bland but variety and service made up for it. Was not an overnight guest so cannot comment on that.

Front Desk, Housekeeping, Conference Room staff, and PSAV, have always been very pleasant to work with. Bell Staff are typically attentive but this time I was not greeted while checking in while 6 guys were shooting the breeze. Stone's Throw food and service are fantastic. Rooms are nice and most room views are nice. Windowed elevators add value. Great location to leave car at the hotel and walk everywhere. A must see is their tulip garden.

Large and great hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Parking is $40+ for overnight. Beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms are nicely sized and the bathrooms are well maintained and everything was in great working order. No complaints other than the prices that were expectedly high (but one should know staying here). The location is fantastic as it is surrounded by a lot of small local eateries and chain fast food places. In addition, the zoo is only about 10-15 minutes away walking.

Lovely hotel. Visit every year for a convention. Staff is always extremely hospitable and willing to go the extra mile. The restaurant is delicious and the bar atmosphere, while very open, still lends a relaxing area to meet for drinks or just have a moment or two alone to work or just unwind. Beautiful setting and surprisingly easy to get to considering its location in DC. Convenient to the Zoo and metro.
