I stayed here during evacuation in the middle of a hurricane. The room was clean, kitchen well stocked, but needed a few repairs. The parking situation is very tight when at capacity. However, the view is great in the right rooms. Location and amenities make it a good stay while visiting Orlando for vacation.

Room was nice, but there is an overabundance of drunk people partying there. At 10:30 we tried asking the people next to us to quiet down and were cursed at and they got louder. So much for being nicewe called the desk and security came out (and rang our bell to get us out of bed for some reason) and then they were quiet for about 15 minutes. At 2 AM a different set of people across the way in a different building were out on the balcony talking loud and yelling. Front desk apologized nicely. This was supposed to be our monthly, relaxing get-away with my wife away from kids and family and NOISE Sorry Westgate, but for what we paid I expect much more, or rather less noise pollution and certainly more than a just a "Gee, sorry". We won't be back.

This place is a long time family favorite. You can vacation here and not leave if you wanted to. They have a game room, restaurant, spa, gift shop, bowling alley, 7 pools, hot tubs, mini golf, small grocery store, plus much more! We enjoy spending a long weekend there or picking there for our annual vacation spot. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We love coming here and we always have a good time .

Nice place to visit. Resort was very well maintained and the unit was clean, furniture was recently updated and it has elevators. To our surprise, we had cleaners every day! Can't tell you how nice to come back after a long day to a cleaned condo. The condos are easily some of the most spacious I've been in. Balconies are screened and large enough to dine on them. Everyone at the resort was very nice and quite willing to go the extra mile to take care of any issues. Getting to the various parks is not difficult; takes about 7-10 minutes to Universal.

Resort is centrally located, close to all the parks and other places of interest. The building we stayed in was also close to many of the amenities and activities. The kids enjoyed the activities, though there was a small fee for each one. Many discounts for owners, like the gym and the Draft Sports bar. One disappointment was the owners breakfast. The potential owners breakfast was sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pastries yet the owner's breakfast was just pastries. It could at least be the same since it's only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The room was nice compared to the many properties we've been to. It was comfortable and fairly quiet considering we were near the pool. We are definitely enjoying our stay and will come back next year. I gave it a 5 even though I had a couple of issues because I thought a 4 was too low.

As I sat and read the reviews before my trip I was very tentative about our trip. However, after mistakenly arriving a day early, the staff was quick to adjust our reservation and accommodate us. Throughout our stay (as we were there for a convention), the staff was very helpful and friendly. What a great resort, close to Disney and Universal.

This is a very large property for both timeshare owners and guests. The service was excellent. I was far from the front so I had to drive of I wanted to go to the restaurants and shops. The rooms included kitchenette nut no stove top only microwave. The bathroom was spacious with jetted tub and the separate shower was very spacious. There was a screened balcony overlooking the lake. There are 5 pools scattered throughout the property. There are daily activities as well. I stayed for a week so it worked well for me.

We stayed here during Hurricane Irma and were very impressed. We had always stayed at Disney properties when visiting Orlando so we never knew about Westgate. The grounds were very nice and so were the employees. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The dog policy is great and there are great walkways around the property to walk your pets. The store on site is very nice and has everything, too. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for 10 days in August 2017. My family and I had an awesome experience. Everyone was nice! House keeping was superb. The grounds men were helpful. When the shuttle was unavailable they stepped in to help. The pools were great. The activities were great for kids. Everyone was courteous. Will certainly return.

We came here to escape Hurricane Irma and I wish it could've been for a more enjoyable reason because this place is very comfy and accommodating! Rooms are clean, spacious, and fully loaded for an extended stay. Given the circumstances and huge influx of guests, they've been very attentive and helpful in getting us situated -- we arrived very well ahead of check in time and they got us our room right away ("us" meaning myself, my retiree parents, my 97 year old grandmother, and two cats.) Very grateful for the staff that is here working despite the statewide threat of this storm -- we all have our own homes to take care of but the staff remains upbeat and hospitable. We are so very grateful for the hospitality and safe haven; I will absolutely be back with friends in the future for our planned vacation to Disney World 🙂

I am 5 days in to our 7 day stayNeedless to say I am less then impressed. Housing keeping of the room was great but when we called the front desk to let them know there was a liquid brown substance in and around the jacuzzi they told us it would be checked out. We sat outside on the porch for HOURS no one went. When one of the works was told about it he stated "it's not my job" and walked away. That night there was a down pour that washed all of this away but the water was still well below normal and clearly was still not cleaned. This all on top of the 4 hour "tour" which was terrible. We got showed 3 room and that was it and we were told we would be shown around the resort which did not happen. Once we told the guy we were not interested due to other finances he states " I am not here to talk about your student loans or other bills, I am here to save you money on vacation." After we continued to say no he became nasty towards our family. Would never stay at this resort again.

Checked into resort, had maintenance check air conditioner as it was showing 75 on the thermostat. Thermostat was set at 69. After 4 hours, the temp. in the rooms didn't decrease. Was told compressor was frozen. Item was fixed within 4 hours. The next day, had maintenance come out again as the rooms were same price. Was told that the coolest was low. The following day, after a mid day trip to Disney, room was back to 75 and 73. When asked for a new room, they told me I could have it after the current room was packed. This hotel, has had nothing but horrible employees. Other than location to all the parks, the resort is not a place I will ever stay again.

My wife and I had a great stay. New restaurant and plenty of amenities; you really don't have to leave the property. They even have an on site grocery store. All staff we encountered were extremely courteous and helpfull. Are room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We'll be back!!!

While this place is very pleasing to the eye. Customer service and cleanliness is not at the top of their list. Tub was not clean, found a pubic hair floating in water and water spots all over mirrors. No maid service. We left for day and returned, bed was still unmade, no refill on coffee machine, there's no breakfast. They offered a shuttle, but when we needed to use it was told it was done running for the day. (This was a Saturday and in Orlando a vacation spot for tourists) It's really a scam place to sell timeshares. So if you don't buy you don't get any customer service. They offered a breakfast /brunch that consisted of hot dogs, potatoes salad, chops and cheese. Your 90 minutes of a meeting turns into a 3 hour pressure sale. We were seriously thinking of buying until all of the above happened.

Had a great time. Everyone was so helpful and professional. Room could use some touch ups but over all everything was awesome. Can't wait to get back and we aren't leaving till tomorrow. We stayed at the villas and now the lakes and both are great. Love Westgate.
