Location excellent. Service excellent. Our 4 and 6 year old enjoyed the pools to their hearts content. The water was heated which made that possible even on those not so warm days. Plenty of activities taking place daily. Rooms really well furnished and equipped. Extremely comfortable.

I love coming here. We have stayed here on four different occasions and I really have no intention of staying anywhere else when I visit. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Some of them even remember you when you visit again. There is never a time when they can't help with any issue that might arise. It is a smallish resort that makes you feel like you are visiting a home, but still has great amenities and activities.

What a wonderful experience I had here at harbor lake the staff members are the most friendly staff members I have met in my entire life if you have kids I highly recommend coming here it is super kids friendly and there is always something to do here the place is very nice and clean it makes you never want to leave the the place. One particular staff member I want to recognize is Gary he is super nice and is what is truly what it means to be a staff member.The rooms are so homey the have a washing machine so we do not have to bring much clothing, a kitchen so we don't miss home cooked food and a beautiful balcony is breath taking if you get a good view.If you came for a quiet vacation I do not recommend this place it is extremely lively and perfect for having fun.This place is amazing and I get butterflies in my stomach just thinking about our next visit. This place is our 2nd home.I cannot wait to come again and again

Stayed here for 5 days while attending a conference at the Orange County Convention Center. Husband and I stayed in a 1 BR. While the place mainly caters to families going to theme parks, we really enjoyed our stay too. Very easy access to the convention center by car a mile away via a sort of "back-door" entrance. Beautiful apartments, well serviced, clean, very nice amenities, 2 nice pools, gym facility. When I left a charger behind they contacted me and mailed it to me. Super helpful! I would highly recommend and would stay here again. (Also, no pressure to submit to a time share sales pitch, which I despise.)

My family stayed in a 1 bedroom villas for 4 days, 3 nights. We requested s renovated room on the first floor near the pool, and we got exactly that. The room was very nice and met our needs. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was fantastic and very helpful.

We stayed on floor 5 of building 15 right next to the elevator - I would advise to avoid this unless you have mobility issues as you will be woken every morning by people going to the elevator and chatting loudly. The cleaners cupboard is also by there and so they congregate each morning and chat too.
The rooms in this resort are very dark despite the bright exterior of the building. That is my biggest complaint about the rooms - even on a bright sunny day you have to have all the lights on inside so that it isn't dismal.
In terms of activities for kids and general resort amenities though it is fantastic. If you are with a family? Absolutely go here - there's so much to do for kids. If you're a party of adults? I would advise going across the road to Cypress Harbour instead.response / report this review -

Resort was good. It would be awesome if the splash pad had been open. I'm only giving it two stars because they didn't tell us before we got here that it was closed for repairs. It was the whole reason we picked this place, they should have told us before we got there so we could have at least made other plans. We had two days where we were just going to swim that we couldn't do as long because it was closed. I expect more from Marriott.

I spent some afternoons visiting family who were resort guests. My review is mixed because on its own, this is an enjoyable resort. Very comfortable and modern, and I like the way it feels like authentic Florida. You have a great view of both Sea World and a cypress surrounded swamp. But, compared to a few other Marriott properties in the area, this is a notch lower. The full site has not been built out, so it feels a little unfinished. Also, from luggage carts to toilet paper, it seems like the quality of the housewares and furniture is cheap. I don't know how the price compares to other Marriott properties nearby. The staff here is fantastic, the pool is great, and we enjoyed fishing (licensed) in the pond.

Best time share experience ever! They did not try to sell us more timeshare, extremely friendly and personable - staff really are into excellent customer service and sincerely want their guests to be happy. I would say the employees here are right up there at the same level as Disney. Highly recommend. Plenty for all kids/teens to do. I would go as far to say that next time we may not bother with the ridiculous expense of Disney. Stay right here, relax and have fun! Oh, also rooms are perfect too - spacious and comfortable!!

The room was wonderful, the staff was so friendly. My daughter loved the pools and water activities. I couldn't believe how many scheduled activities were available. Will definitely be going back!

This is an excellent hotel that is especially kid/family friendly within close proximity to numerous theme parks. The room was spacious and clean, the property is well kept with numerous activities going on throughout the day on the property that the entire family can enjoy. This was an outstanding vacation hotel. The pool/splash pad area was so much fun!

Really loved this property. Tons of stuff fro the kids to do. We didn't get to explore it much but we want to return. We thought the price we paid was a steal. Very clean. Staff was nice but very interaction took place.

The hotel initially gave us a scare by calling us on the day off arrival saying that there was an issue with the reservation and that we would not get the 2 bedroom Villa we booked over 3 months ago. Apparently the person who made the reservation on their end had made an error. However, by the time we got to the hotel, it was sorted out and we got our original room. The hotel staff was great, the villa easy accommodated a family of four (could accommodate 8 easily). Their pools are great with water slides for all ages.

Very conveniently located to top notch restaurants, airport, Universal Studios and anything else we wanted while we were there. The resort staff was very efficient and always greeted us with a smile. The on-site restaurant was very good. Absolutely fabulous place to take the family for a vacation. Plan to return with more family next time.
