The outside of the resort is lovely. Has a very nice ambiance to it. It's right next to the interstate but you don't hear much noise from the traffic. The water fountain is very tranquil.

Please don't be fooled by the pictures posted for this hotel. They are renovating the 1st two floors and aren't ready for guests. We were given a room on the thrid floor and before we got to the room it felt sketchy. Once we walked into the room it immediately smelled like mold and piss. There were stains on the carpet and the curtains were dingy. After only 10 minutes of checking in we checked out. The manager on duty sympathized with us and we were not charged. We found a Courtyard Marriott nearby for a similar price.

Location is great, plenty of things nearby such as food and an outlet mall. The room is great as they have recently renovated. My room had two queen beds, a sofa bed, and a full kitchen. The kitchen is great if you want to save some money and make something simple in the room. Breakfast service was great with a good selection of food and room service was great as well

We had a great time visiting in Orlando. The hotel was wonderful, rooms are very clean, all the staff we met were friendly and helpful, always smiling and wishing us a good day. Breakfast was great. We loved the kittens that we would occasionally see outside. Thank you and we will be using residence Inn in the future.

Our first room was covered in mold and smelled awful. We asked for a different room and were given one on a different floor that was much better. They were in the process of getting new furniture while we were there, but that isn't going to solve their mold issues. The pool was a zero entry pool which was great for the kids! Breakfast was always extremely busy, and the layout isn't great. The bread was always empty and they need to reconfigure the beverage area to make it easier to access.

The hotel was very unorganized and unthoughtful of the room assignments for guests during their remodeling. I was assigned to a room on the 1st floor during my 5 week stay. The room smelled of strong chemicals and mold. Myself and my roommate (this was a work stay) had to get new keys made every single day of our trip because the keys were continuously inoperable. We even had maintenance come by and change the battery on that key reader and that did not help. With one week left of our stay we were told with less than 24 hours notice that we had to move rooms. We were ready the very next morning after packing all of our items and moving them to the living room; when we called the front desk we were told that our room was not ready. Finally, someone came to help move us with 30 minutes remaining before we had to leave for work. We were moved to a room that had an awful smell of mold/mildew and mold growing on the walls/ceiling. We could not move hotels even though we would have loved to because our entire team of 20+ individuals were all staying at the same hotel. Under these conditions, I would never recommend this hotel to any. not anyone traveling on business, leisure and especially not for families.

We arrived at 3:45 and a room was not available. Understandable since check in is not until 4. At 4:30 still no rooms. Lady checking us in seemed to think that was no big deal and they would have them once housekeeping was done. After 4:30 only room available was 1st floor. I voiced my concerns but took the room since we had 3 kids waiting in the car. Saw housekeeping cleaning rooms both nights at 6pm. Never been to a hotel that is frantically cleaning evening instead of morning. Had to call front desk after 11 because the hotel had very loud music at the pool when no one was even there. Woke up in the middle of the night with very itchy bug bites all over my feet. Not able to sleep after that knowing I was sleeping with bugs! As we were leaving we ran out of toilet paper. Not like we used an absurd amount because we were at the parks during the day. Was only provided one roll with no extras. Only good part of the hotel was the nice seaworld attendant. Won't be going back.

Nice, renovated rooms. Staff was gracious and easy to speak with. One of the worst breakfast I've ever had at any Marriott brand properties. Few selections, small bowls and cups and the setup for breakfast is not welcoming, more institutional and factory mindset. Would return for the room, but definitely not for the meals at this location. Fortunately, the rooms have full kitchens to prepare meals ourselves.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Kitchenette is nice, though is lacks an oven (would take one of those over the dishwasher). Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner. Front desk staff seems lacking as I've never been able to contact them by phone (best to go in person).

Location is slightly dated and needs to be modernized. Very large with many amenities. At 4:00 housekeeping had not been by. Had several small roaches in our 2 bedroom suite. Would not recommend this location. The water has a very strange odor, not sure if it is the area or something with the hotel. For an area known for tourism Marriott needs to make an investment here and bring this location up to date. I am a loyal Marriott customer but this was a let down.

Nice hotel. We booked a family suite, and there was plenty of space. The room was clean, and the property well kept. It's in a great location- easy to get in and out of the property.

Great value almost perfect. Due to the volume of guests get your free coffee quick. Shower could have used a bit more cleaning. Not gross but not perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my first visit but won't be my last. I am a dog owner and like to bring him with me when I am able. It's just a short drive from Tampa but they made me feel like a well traveled guest. My Marriott reward status enabled me to get an upgrade to a suite at no charge. It is close to wherever you need to be or is a great spot to just relax as I have been doing this weekend. Thank you to Kenny who checked me in on Friday and gave me a jump start to a great weekend.
