The hotel is beautiful. We did not stay overnight, but the attached Starbucks is really awesome, with an entrance from the outside. It's literally almost in the Sea World parking lot, so a great option for those looking to stay close to the park and not have to drive. All of the staff were very accommodating.

Spacious immaculate rooms. Blackout curtains made it easy to wake up whenever we wanted. Was a pleasure to stay here and is located immediately across from sea world entrance so walk distance was quite short and easy. Would recommend.

This hotel is paradise and peace. I couldn't hear any talking or activity outside of my room. Room service was prompt and polite! The Steak and potatoes was 5 star prime beef. Taste as if you were dinning in at a Charley's Steak House type venue. Superb stay! We will be coming back. Oh yeah, the cucumber water was the BOMB!!!!!

Wow, what a gorgeous hotel. I don't think I've ever walked into a hotel and the first thing I thought of was how nice it smelled. Everything was pristine and formally decorated. I visited one of the updated rooms and was so pleased with how large the room was and beautiful it looked!

Room service delivered my turkey wrap without the described sprouts and avocado. I called, expecting them to say they were out, but a new wrap (with sprouts and a tablespoon or so of avocado) was delivered to the room about 15 minutes later. I can conclude they don't know what's in their relatively short menu or they were trying to skip the expensive ingredients.

Cleaning crew will try to get into your room an hour before checkout. We had to tell them to come back after 11am, which they did.

Everything else about the stay has been fine- not top notch, but fine.

Nice place, but for that price is it fair to tack on an additional parking fee AND an additional resort fee to enjoy the amenities? Also for that price, I expect more than one accessible working electrical outlet in a room, a bathtub that completely drains and bath towels that aren't like sandpaper. I enjoyed my stay, but I've stayed at less expensive hotels that were nicer.

Hotel is close to the Convention Center, making it convenient. If a rewards member, use the Green option when you check in to get 500 points per day that you decline house keeping. Rooms are nice. Bathrooms in guest room should be updated to walk in showers. Kids pool area is great. Younger kids have a blast. There is a semi-hidden $25/day resorte fee depending on how you book as well as a $22/day parking fee. There is also no Guest Lounge for Marriott members. A lounge should be added to be on par with other Marriott locations. I know it is a resort, but there is no incentive for Marriott Rewards members to stay here.

What makes this hotel so great is their customer service! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is stress free and enjoyable. My family did not want to leave. They have an amazing water slide for kids besides their pool, their restaurant hosts the most AMAZING breakfast buffet I've ever indulged in! A laundry on site, a Starbucks, a huge lobby area where you can either get a drink from one of their two bars or just relax and lounge in their cabanas while the kids run around (yes! There is that much space) They also have an arcade for the kids, gift shops with souvenirs, ice cream, sunscreen and anything else you could possibly need. The list goes on. Something to consider when staying however is that they do not include microwaves in their rooms. There are shuttles that drive you to seaworld, universal etc. for free. Overall we really loved this hotel and recommend it to both families or couples. They really cater to everyone! Loved it! So happy with our stay and so sad we had to go back home.

Irma brought us here and great service, attentive staff and committed staff are why we stayed. Although our visit was unexpected and unplanned, we enjoyed our experience because of the laid back staff, open spaces, beautiful property and extremely clean grounds. We were here when the team was short staffed from Irma; however, we did not notice as the team maintained high energy, hustled and delivered exceptional care to us and all guests.
The buffets were good and breakfast was one of the best displays I have ever seen (honeycomb, juice station, omelet station and fresh granola and jellies).
    Well done team!

Great establishment. Customer service was very helpful and professional. Rooms were clean. And the pool area was great. And who ever did the interior design of this place did a phenomenal job. I would come back again!

I was blown away with this hotel. Great staff, great facility and clean. Kids loved the dual pool. One giant pool to splash around and one water park. Even has a Starbucks on site! Upto two kids eat free with one paying adult for breakfast is a big bonus!!!

Better than expected. I really really did enjoy my stay here. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everything was perfect and to my standards. When I first booked the hotel I was not expecting much because when I vacation I try to to make the experience more memorable by staying in either a 4 1/2 to 5 star hotel or resort, but since this visit was last minute and I was going into the parks I just booked this not expecting much, but WOW, to my surprise the room was huge, very clean, comfortable, and cozy, I didn't want to leave! The hotel is also very convenient, offer a decent amount of amenities, and even though I did not dine at either, there is a restaurant and Starbucks located onsite. I highly recommend this location and if you have a Marriott rewards account that makes it even better.

The Renaissance is fantastic. Everything here is to notch. Upon arriving the staff was very attentive. The decor throughout the property is spectacular including in the spacious and clean rooms. The pool and lounge area are always active and fun places to hang out. The location is ideal as well, right across from Seaworld and short drives to Universal and Disney areas.

I like the open air atrium middle area. I liked that the meeting rooms were well marked, central easy to get to. Nice bathrooms in the common areas. Nice bars with plenty of seating for medium or large groups. Its a nice conference/convention area. Our group of 256 did not feel crowded. I liked that the room has a safe.

On the other hand the room maintenance was sub par. Surfaces and sinks were not cleaned, our personal items were re-arranged to a degree we are not accustomed to. I do not like feeling that my things were gone through. (Nothing missing.. but still). The room fridge is very small. 1 cup coffee maker, no microwave. Never could figure out how to change channels on the TV. I'd give the bed itself 2 stars.
