Room was huge, front desk people were amazing(very accommodating) and breakfast was fine. Parking is very limited and some attention to detail cleaning was missed. Overall great buy for the money.
Very bad attitude from the girl at the front desk. Very reluctant to give us change to use on their washers and dryers. We paid for a suite for 8 people, indicated on our reservation, yet she was aggravated when we asked for enough towels for each person, since our room was not stocked with them. Our room had a master bedroom; however, there was not only no lock on the door, but their was no latch either, so it did not close, which was very inconvenient traveling with our teenagers and adult children and staying at this hotel for 5 days. To make matters worse, their was only 1 bathroom and it was in the master bedroom. This was a suite, which indicated that it was for 8 people, and that it offered supplies within the kitchen for everyone; however, it did not. There was enough for 6 of us so we had to buy paper and plastic stuff. The fridge that was provided froze half of our food, including the milk that was almost $4/gallon, so we lost money on wasted food. We stayed here to save money by not having to eat out, but ended up costing us more because of ruined food, not enough dishes, and therefore having to eat out anyway. The internet their was non existent unless you were standing in the lobby. And the breakfast was either slim to nothing available, or consisted of things like blackened bananas. This hotel also seemed to be the home of several families, as we came to realize every morning that parents were taken children with book bags to school right down the road. We have stayed at many, many Wyndham hotels and we were extremely shocked that this is considered one. My parents also stayed in another room during our stay and they left early and stayed somewhere else because of how bad this was. We, unfortunately did not have this option with 8 people; it is not easy to find places to accommodate our family, especially last minute.
Clean room. I was given a handicap room, although I don't require one, it's nice to know that one is available. Has a walk in shower with a chair. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.
Can't go wrong with the price, room was very clean and everything but what really made the 5 stars was the awesome customer service. Jesus was extremely helpful and went out of the way to arrange a cab to the airport in the morning , then came out of the office and chased us down to let us know the price and confirm it's all good to go. Check in took 30 seconds and check out took 25 seconds. Just a 10 minute walk to Old Town, too.
Went here during the hurricane. Up until the point where the power went out it was good. There are no sort of emergency lights in the rooms. I ran into something and hurt my knee because of it.
My family and I stayed here for five nights during Christmas break 2016. Our room was infested with ants, we told management and they sent someone with raid spraythat didn't solve the problem at all. The bathroom space was very small. Our kitchen and living room area was decent.the pool was ok. Will we stay again? No
This is a budget friendly hotel. This is Not a 4 or 5-star Resort. It is rated as a 2-star hotel. It has a great pool including a kiddy pool and a hot tub all in the same patio area. The room was spacious clean bathrooms large dressing area and good towels. We had clean sheets and the bed was comfortable. There were a few local long-term guests on the floor we were staying that made a bit of a Ruckus at 6 a.m. Our room was at the back of the hotel. They did wake us up however my husband heard the manager warning them to keep their noise down and do not disturb other customers. If I were traveling alone (female) then I would request an upstairs front facing room. But if you're a couple or with friends or with family I think it's fine . There's a continental breakfast which was basic really not much protein but everything seemed fresh and they even had waffles. Coffee maker in the rooms Management was eager to please and was friendly when we checked in late at night and gave us an extra pillow and a couple extra towels when we requested them. We would stay there again any time traveling through and we really enjoyed the pool. It was crystal clear
The hotel looks old and crappy outside but inside is actually nice.. until you need to charge your phone or tablet and find out the room has 1 plug that is accessible and that's next to the front door. They also do not put a stop to a pizza place that leaves their fliers here and is a total scam . Thanks to that I spent $35 And didn't even get my food. Also no water , or anything in mini fridge and no vending machine anywhere near the room , had to spend $2 for 1 small bottle of water at a gift shop near by
The room was ok except the floor was disgusting. The floors were not vacuumed, just swept, so after we checked in and walked on the floors for 5 minutes the bottoms of our feet were black. None of the dryers in the laundry room worked. When i reported this to the front desk the guy was very rude. I asked him if he would like me to put an "out of service" sign on it for him he told me not to worry about it (he never did put a sign on it). The house keeper was nice. However it was close to Disney world so we made due.
At first when we checked in we went straight to our room as soon as we entered the room was not cleaned after the previous people checked out. The bed was not made and ECT.basically the housekeeper did not touch that room. so we went back to the lobby to tell the manager. She was nice and apologize. She changed our room. The new room was nice, clean and well maintained. I will stay again when am in the Disney area for sure.
Despite of the fact that the hotel is old and needs remodeling, the rooms were clean as well as the sheets and towels. The cleaning lady knocked our door at 9 am, which was strange. She didn't speak any English and It was hard to tell her to come later. The breakfast is a joke, don't count on it. I liked my stay and I would recommend the hotel for people who wants to rest paying low rates.
We booked this hotel for our family vacation up Disney. The hotel was close to the parks and clean. We were able to fit 2 adults and 4 kids with 2 queens and the pull out sofa. The price was great and we all enjoyed the free breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
I had a tough time deciding whether to give this place a 3 or 4 star rating.
Pros: Nice big comfortable rooms that are clean and critter free, everything in the room works, nice clean pool and hot tub, decent laundry, small game room but nice and staff is friendly.
Cons: Check in is at 3 pm but when I checked in at 3:30 pm the room "wasn't ready yet" and I had to wait another 30 to 40 minutes. When we got to our room we had no towels, wash clothes, hand towels or trash bags all of which I had to go out to get them from the cleaning crew. When they took the dirty towels it took me 2 days to get more (and that is with me constantly asking everyone I saw for more. They didn't come to clean the room until the day before we left. 2 days before we left a fire alarm went off at 1:00 am in the morning and then again at 8:00 am that no one would bother explaining or apologizing for. The free breakfast is a joke, I am diabetic and need to eat but I would like to have something hot or at least good so my breakfast was spent at the Waffle House next store.
Tough one!!! I would stay again and will recommend this place but they really need to hire better cleaning people and make a few other small changes. Love the rooms but hate the service
