Under reconstruction so some of this is understandable. Trash in the elevator, whole hotel has a smell, water tastes like sulfur, asked front desk to unplug shower drain twice with no success. Breakfast attendants were very nice and welcoming, outside landscaping was very well done.

Terrible experience pool and hot tub just filthy cleaning crew only speaks Spanish, if you don't you're in trouble they never left toilet paper or cleaned the room, I had to use my iPhone to translate to Spanish to communicate to the crew. Also pool never have towels available. Breakfast was so so. And the outside security entry doors were never locked Management just doesn't care!!
This hotel is now “Holiday Hotel” no longer part of the IHG group thank goodness!!!

    Terrible.

I made a reservation online, and received an email that said my reservation was confirmed. When I arrived they had zero record of it, and even after I showed the receptionist the email confirmation, rather than try and be helpful she just wanted to argue over and over again that "a confirmation is not the same as a reservation", whatever that is supposed to mean. Then she made it sound like they were out of rooms, but then acted as though they MAYBE could find me one. Then I had to argue that it should be at the price quoted, not the rate she was trying to charge.

Also, they make a big deal on the website that they have a free shuttle to the parks. Well, unlike almost every other hotel in the region, the shuttle runs ONCE per day. The rest of the time you can pay a taxi to come for you, which considering this is not the closest resort to the parks, is going to be quite expensive.

I cannot speak to the rooms or the pool because after dealing with the unhelpful front desk rep and realizing the shuttle situation I told them to forget trying to find me a room and I would just be happy that they lost my reservation.

    Stay elsewhere!!

Hotel was under renovations during our stay. All renovations were in the halls and common areas. However in my room I had issues. The faucet in the bath leaked a steady stream of water, and the toilet didn't flush great, where you had to do a double flush just to get toilet paper to go down. Rooms could definitely be updated and maintained better.

Smells like an old smokers home and the ice machine had actual clumps of mud that came out with the ice. They are renovating but probably should have closed it down for this process. The staff is friendly but the place is disgusting.

2nd day update: went out to our car and there were vehicles that had smashed windows and were broken into. Luckily ours wasn't one of them.

The couch is gross. It feels sticky. The sink won't drain. The elevators don't work. The pool is closed. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this hotel.

3rd day update: if you walk on the carpet with bare feet the bottom of your feel will turn black.

The side door entrance doesn't have a latch to close, it is open to anyone. The pool gate doesn't have a latch to close, anyone can come into the pool area (which I believe is a safety violation).

In process of renovating. Clean and comfortable. Modern bath. Comfortable bed & pillows. Decent breakfast. Seemed a little pricey though.

The score would have been higher except for the fact that they were doing renovating while we were there. Waking up at 7 a.m. to hear the construction workers repointing the masonry was somewhat less than Pleasant.

Other than that, the stay was very nice.

First, the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. But the stay was not without problems. First, housekeeping did not clean our room. I had to call each day and request service. Second, the in room coffee maker was not maintained. When I went to add water to the well, brown dirty water rose to the top. They had to replace the machine. These inconveniences diminished an otherwise pleasant stay.

I booked this place based on the reviews and was expecting a decent hotel. First of all, the lobby smelled like wet dog. Not sure they allow pets but the smell was overpowering. The sink and tub were clogged, although when I told them they were very prompt about sending someone to fix it right away. The walls were paper thin, the black out blinds are more like brown out, and the overall quality of the hotel is just so so. If you are willing to stay a little further north, you can find better for the price. I'm glad they had a liberal cancellation policy, we were outta there after the first night.

This was one of the best of Hotels I have Ever Stayed at. We are frequent travelers and the Staff at this Hotel were AMAZING.. The Front Desk Lobby where we Checked in was full of All the Disney Information you could ever Need. They Made you feel very important. There was a few other guests checking in at the same time and each of us was greeted with a Friendly Smile and Heartfelt Hello. The Rooms were already cooled down and waiting for your arrival. I was very Happy with that it was very Hot when we arrived.. This hotel was just fabulous a shuttle to Disney was available if you needed it. With a few arrival times and departure times as well. Thank you for making our 1st trip to Orlando very memorable.. I will be Back..

    1. Breakfast - It wasn't good. Most of the food was flavorless or just stale and the coffee was terribly watery. The pancakes and cinnamon roles were good though. Its free but it could be a lot better or fresh at the very least.
    2. Parking - Can't really complain about parking as the area is relatively small and well lit. At night this area is questionable so it was nice to have strong lights.
    3. Room - The most important thing to me is cleanliness especially in hotels. The room I stayed in was a king suite and it was dated looking but spacious and clean. I was very pleased with the bedroom and living room except that the carpet was stained so the black spots made it look very ugly.
    4. Bathroom - The good and the bad. Good first. The bathroom was nice and clean with soaps stocked and plenty of towels. The bad. The extra towels must have been put in for the amount of water that the shower will spill onto the floor. The shower curtain rod was built out of the tub so you had to pull the curtain in and even then the material got incredibly soaked! So you can imagine the floor got the same treatment. The shower head was big and awkward so you have to tilt it to the wall just to avoid a huge mess and now you're hugging the wall for warmth. Even then the water was never warm. It's either burning hot or freezing cold. Big problem there. We had towels all over the bathroom floor and they still got soaked all the way through. Awful.

Overall I'm glad I did not pay full price. The hotel is close to Disney which is nice but don't expect anything above average if not lower. Its a place to come back and lay your head down but don't stick around too long.

Holiday Inn Express are usually consistent and I was satisfied with this location. It was close to everything Disney at an affordable price. The bed was comfortable, room and bathroom was clean. The only complaint is that the walls are thin and I heard argument, snoring and the television from the adjoining room. Also one of the side entry doors was not locked at night raising concern about security. Other than that I enjoyed my 4 night stay.
