Nestled right in downtown next to the train station. Very nice decor and clean rooms. Room service was very fast and got orders correct. Parking is very expensive: valet is $47 a night with in out privilege. Parking across the street is $24 without in out. Do yourself a favor and find a meter spot and pay until 6pm. No charge from 6pm-8am. Just watch the street sweeping days.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were large and beautiful views. Main thing was the slightly dated bathrooms. Overall good hotel.

Nice and clean rooms. Located in a great part of the city. The rooftop pool area is nice with great views of downtown San Diego.

The whole hotel could use an update and a more modern look though. Valet was nice as well.

Staying here currently. Close to the cool areas downtown. Walking distance even. Food everywhere. The hotel itself is well kept and clean. Nice rooms.

Super cute decor! Kinda nice service, I felt a little bit like the attitudes were a little to fancy. Slightly disingenuous, however the fusion water was amazing.I was there for a one day seminar and this location has no parking or inexpensive parking. $30 I paid for one partial day of parking across the street and was charged 3 times on my debit card. Wop wop wop.(not the hotels parking lot I don't think)

I was hosting an event at the Westin and was overall very happy. The rooms are great and offer good views of the bay and the city. The meeting rooms are nice and have some added bonuses like opening up to a wrap around balcony. The hotel location is great too, right next to little Italy and gaslamp district with plenty of food options

This is a typical Westin, which means it's great. Within walking distance of lots of dining, entertainment, and, yes, work : that's why you're considering a Westin, right? The staff told me I could walk in any direction and find something interesting, so I tried it and they were right. Clean modern rooms with plugs by the beds, a great gym, fancy lounge, and all the other trappings you would expect from this chain. Good stuff!

Spent several nights in San Diego visiting friends recently, and playing tourist, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For me, the employees, above all, make or break a facility. In this case, both the employees and the terrace room we had and the were exceptional. Front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant and bar staff did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. We will certainly be back.

This hotel is huge, well-appointed, and reasonably priced for being in downtown San Diego. Although the property is clearly not new, everything including the lobby, the rooms, and the Halls seemed well kept and the room was new looking. There was also an airport shuttle and the hotel was close to Santa Fe station which made for easy trips around the city and surrounding areas. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Westin San Diego and would stay here again if the pricing was similar. We did not eat at any of the restaurants and did not use any of the other amenities so no comment on those.

The rooms are clean, large. The bed is very comfortable. Big desk area to work. Comfortable chairs. The rain shower had lots of water pressure. Service is excellent. SPG members have a wine and snacks happy hour.

Hotel was nice, room was clean and the bed cozy. Nice spot downtown close to everything. Staff were great, my boyfriend was thrilled with Jose who catered to his every need. Pool was okay and the hot tub was quite small and jets were in need of maintenance. Snacks upon check in were a nice touch. Another amazing staff member we met was a very very pregnant woman. Both my boyfriend and I agree that she probably shouldn't be working at this moment although she did a great job. I believe her name was Alyssa?? Send her home!!!!

Convenient location to tourists attractions and downtown haunts, comfortable rooms with relaxing views. Pool was not accessible during my stay as the weather was "bad". Gym is solid and efficient. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator banks in the middle will make some people queasy with the ride and view combination. Shower head was a bit leaky, so I just moved my head to avoid wetting my hair, problem solved. Will stay there again for my future visits.
