We had brunch and the food was delicious. The service staff was terrible but the chef was amazing. Donna who was at the omelette station made up for the inattentive servers who never refilled out coffee pot or were rather untimely in removing plates. She is an absolute treasure for the establishment. The food is delicious with a great variety, and the farm to table concept is wonderful!
Stayed here many times. Something always seems to go wrong with each stay that makes wanting to return here less desirable. The only reason I keep coming back is because the Spa is one of the best I've ever visited and the in room dining food is top notch. Starting to feel that this property has lost its charm and doesn't meet up to the Ritz Carlton standard.
Hard to give a fair rating from our one experience here. The building was under major construction. We are Ritz experienced travelers so the let down should be understandable. Very remote location from all the craziness of touristy Orlando. It is walking distance from Sea World if you are really into exercise walking. I did it no problem but others would say I am nuts. Can't be more them 3 miles though. Straight shot too. Easy. We stayed for a conference and the facility was fine for all that. My wife used the spa with no complaints and the gym is nice too. Bull and Bear was fun but service was slow (not enough staff) and it is pricey but what isn't at Ritz Carlton? Surprised there are not pedestrian walkways on the grounds so be prepared to walk in the streets as cars whiz by. Manifest destiny has caught up with this property once considered remote. But now a large Race Trak station is built across the way, a sure sign of further commercial development soon to come to this once quiet intersection.
Fantastic service, can't say enough nice things about the staff. Rooms could use a little updating (more outlets). Bed too soft for me, I like a firm bed. Beautiful grounds. Not a fan of the perfume/cologne smell they pump into the lobby. Overall a great place to stay.
We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The staff and service were so kind and attentive. It truly made our anniversary stay one to remember. The food was delicious and the Italian restaurant at JW Marriott grows it's own veggies and herbs, just like a restaurant in Italy. We love the lazy river and can't wait to use the Kid's Club next time. If you're deciding between a few places in Orlando, I would highly recommend the Ritz!
Absolutely my favorite place in the whole world! Every staff member greets you by name and with a smile. When you ask for directions you are not told, but rather escorted to your destination so you will not get lost. And the pool waiters are some of the nicest and most hard working people you'll ever meet!
Amazing resort. We stayed for a weekend away and loved it. Great service. Rooms were excellent. Hotel grounds are huge and lots to do. You even get use of the JW Marriott pool which has a lazy river.
I was only there for a few hours while my girlfriend was at the spa. The place was soI don't know, elegant. The staff was super friendly. My girlfriend should be writing this review. She loved her spa experience and the staff. I hung out at the pool which was amazing. If I ever have money I would stay there for a few nights hands down.
It was a really nice place. The whole staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, the shower was a little small and the tub was nothing special. The pool was relaxing and a great temperature. The view towards the lakes was amazing. The walk around the lake was also nice and relaxing. The location wasn't prime though, I was here for a conference and my wife got bored a couple times.
Attended a 3 day event at the Ritz/JW. I did not stay at the hotel but the convention was superb. The exhibits were set up in an easy to access way. The layout couldn't have been better. The sound and projectors in the convention rooms were perfect. The food was great. I had a chance to eat at Quench and the food was perfect. I had the grouper sandwich and it was delicious. I also have to mention the staff. The staff was always ready to help at a moment's notice and they were everywhere. I would definitely recommend.
The service alone makes this hotel a 5 star resort. Then add in the unique amenities (like mountain biking and canoe tours), fantastic locally sourced food, and spectacular rooms and you can see why this hotel is rated so high. Be sure to book the club room level for tons of great food and drinks. It will SAVE you money!
Had a work meeting at Highball & Harvest, the restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, the food was absolutely amazing! Worth every penny, the meat and cheese tray was to die for, so were the deviled eggs. The signature pimento cheese burger was next level for a hamburger. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Staff was extremely nice and were leagues above a typical restaurant/hotel. The staff at this location definitely stood up to the Ritz name. Highly recommended for a lunch outing, I would love to experience dinner here sometime.
What can I day it is the Ritz-Carlton. One of the biggest I have stayed at and we have been there over a half dozen times. The food is great. Especially the tavern on the bottom floor which has some unique food that is too hard to explain. Just take a look at the menu and you''ll see. But I have to recommend Pimento Burger. Wow! Pool is huge, Rooms as expected, perfect and big. Spa huge! Tina the Spa Director and Jamie the Assistant Spa Dir. are the most amazing people you will meet. They are Ritz-Carlton to the core. They deserve company recognition for the out of the way type attitude that I received. I was there late April and Jamie who is the Spa got me tee times, shoes, clubs and greens fees for half price as I just wanted to get 9 in after our event. That's what you expect from all Ritz-Carlton employees. We will make it happen! It was also my son's 2 birthday and the hotel sent an amenity with all the things that my son loves. They found out somehowBut that's Guest services at its best!
Absolutely amazing. Rupert and Carmen helped make our stay magical. I would highly recommend for anyone trying to unwind from a busy work schedule for an escape. My wife came in post-convention for her birthday and the concierge, Carmen, sent her flowers while we were at dinner. The following morning, Rupert, brought us a bottle of Champagne with our morning meal. Will always remember this wonderful property!
Samar, was the lead person who helped my sister and I get settled in at The Angler's Hotel. From start to finish, of our three night stay in February, Samar was always professional and very knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms we had were well kept and beautiful and most of all relaxing as we both needed a break from our hectic work schedules. I loved all the serene areas located inside and outside the hotel. Very welcoming and elegant spot to spend a weekend away from home! I must say all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special kudos to Samar for being outstanding!
