The Enclave Suites are a good Base of operations for a holiday to Orlando. The staff are very friendly. If you are with Virgin or pay for an upgrade there is a daily changing hot breakfast with freshly made to order omelettes in the food area. The hotel has 3 pools, 3 hot tubs and a baby paddle zone. There is a small gym and small games area plus a shop that sells basics, beer and wine. There are regular events and a bar. The Pizza Hut came in useful the first night we arrived. All areas are clean if a little outdated. Not out of place with most of Orlando! Our suite has been fairly recently refurbished but showers and baths look much older. A deep cleaning of the windows would help but that is only if you look for issues. You can't see for the blinds. So, all in all, we are very happy. It doesn't match the polish and age of most UK hotels but has enthusiasm and is in a great location.

Our room was clean and recently refurbished but the property itself was very dated. The hallway carpets, which I never usually pay attention to, was the perfect example of something so old and dingy that no amount of attempted cleanings could bring it back. The staff seemed friendly enough and did their best with what they could. The proximity to universal is the main selling point here, its location is fantastic.

I stayed in this hotel with my father for seven nights and we enjoyed our stay. It was our first time to visit the USA in September 2010. We visited the SeaWorld, the Titanic Museum, Universal Studios, Disney World and Ripley's. The weather was lovely and warm but on the fifth day, it was raining.

Anyway we had a great time over there!

This suite hotel is conveniently located in the area near Sea World, Universal Studios, and not too far from Disney. It is an older building, rooms are clean, linens and towels are clean and good quality. Kitchens in smaller one bedroom suites consist of two burner stove, no oven, small fridge, coffee pot, toaster oven and dishwasher. Bathroom was small with no counter space at all, walk in shower, no tub. Plenty of hot water but water saver shower heads give you a very limited flow. Toilets are small and very low to floor, hard on your knees if you are an older adult but great for kids. Free breakfast is fair. Prices were reasonable but it was also off season so they may be higher during the busy season. If you are on a budget and not expecting a resort type experience but just a place to stay while touring the area and saving a few dollars by eating in your room this may be the place for you. It was quiet while we were there but again it was the slow season. TV has very few channels, there is free WiFi.

The Enclave is an above average 3*. Balcony amazing, included breakfast good.. rooms decent and plenty of space. If you're gonna book, ask for a universal view. It's great for the price and at the end of the day, it's a bed (which is also very comfortable) enjoy x

Pros: location only redeeming factor, and free shuttle to universal.
Pool was big and nice.

Can't complain too much because I won a free stay at this hotel on a radio show, however, next time I would just pay to stay somewhere else. Upon check-in, old opened snacks in room from last guests, dated, old rooms with peeling wall paper and stains. I was fine with it until coming home at 1am to find a note on the door saying our room had flooded. Walk in to find master bedroom two inches under water and my entire suitcase soaking wet. But don't worry they put my wet clothes in the shower and wet suitcase on the bedluckily, we were moved to a new room in the middle of the night (with no help) and the new room was a little nicer (but had no shampoo or wash clothes..). Had no fresh clothes for a whole next day at the park, but hey I got 10 dollars worth of quarters to spend two hours of my vacation doing all my laundry (had to spend 10 bucks on laundry detergent). I appreciate the fact that we were able to move rooms, however the lack of any sympathy or attempted compensation for their disaster really angered me. All in all, I will never stay at this hotel again, even if they paid me.

Poor room service stayed for 3 weeks had to request clean bedding and then had to do it ourselves.
Expensive to stay.
Dish washer leaked everytime it was used.
Poor workmanship in bathroom and in room over all.
Bathroom door was stiff and needed a good shove to open and close feel sorry for the people below with the noise.
Had to request new towels and for the room to be cleaned.
Even though three people were staying only two towels were provided after every requested towel change and would have to go get a third from reception.
Poor food selection.
Our breakfast that we paid for was cancelled and when I requested a discount on a dinner meal was told no we don't work like that sorry.
If I could give 0 stars I would.

Beautiful place, staff was very polite. Place is very clean and well kept. Bathroom in pool area could be kept a little more clean, floor was slippery. Overall beautiful all the way.

now, things may have changed since i went here (in fact, they likely will) as my last visit was three years ago. i cam here aged 12-13 with my family to visit Orlando for the first time. this was a wonderful hotel for a first-time american tourist as it gives great views from the higher floors and the lower floors towards the wet 'n' wild side still have pretty good views. it is well positioned in terms of amenities with there being a go-cart track directly next door, as well as a fine selection of restaurants. its car park is reasonably sized, mostly always allowing us a parking space, and the hotel served good food in the mornings (maybe in the afternoons as well, i cannot remember now).

should i have the chance, i would consider visiting this hotel again. one thing i remember from this trip were its selection of three swimming pools - an outdoor (cold for america), indoor (British hot tub temperatures) and a hot tub (like a kettle for people). i remember going with my dad from the outside, to the inside, to the hot tub, and then instantly back to the outside to see how cold it felt. :-)

another point is that my room had a balcony with patio furniture (which was great for drying clothes). i only remember this as we had to bring in the furniture for hurricane sandy.

anyway, enough of me reminiscing on the good old days, when i wasn't bogged down by exams and college applications, as i said, i would definitely recommend this hotel if your looking for a hotel on a budget and want a reasonable view. :-)

This place is emaculate. It is the best place i have ever stayed at. The manager even let us check in early for free and upgraded our deck for free.. and took part of the bill off of us. We Had a huge private (our own) deck and all. I highly recommend this place!!!

Desperately in need of refurbishment and deep clean. Thomson sends holidaymakers here (2017)! Virgin has apparently agreed only to send their customers to refurbished suites here. Communal areas are shabby, dirty and badly maintained. Hallway carpets made the place stink in the warm, humid weather. Room bathroom and kitchen dirty, with shabby cupboards, broken cooker, dirty fridge with previous occupants' food still in it. Brien/beige decor does not help. Breakfast really poor. Another guest sighted a cockroach in the dining area. The room not positives were comfortable bed and good location, but why take the chance?

The room had apparently been recently renovated. The kitchen lounge area is nice but the rest, the bedrooms and bathrooms are still looking pretty worn. The place feels dingy, the furniture is dark and the walls are grey which doesn't help. The whole place just feels sloppy, like it's been rushed; the door latch doesn't work because it's been installed incorrectly, the drawers on the units all open on their own and the pictures are fixed to the wall crooked. We had paid for a safe but there was no safe in the room. The breakfast is okay. Overall it's a 3 star hotel that isn't reaching for that next star.

The Enclave's website is a little misleading with it's amenities and photos. The hotel stay was decent, a bed, toilet, shower, no problem there. The downside was looking forward to a nice night out, just the two of us enjoying what I thought was a fancier, balcony, 3 pools (one heated indoors, too!), an arcade, ping pong table, game console in the roomEtc. The balcony did have a nice view-plastic chairs and enough space for two people-at most 4 shoulder-to-shoulder. The heated indoor pool is probably about 60-70 degrees, but a little worn, plus not too much room on the deck. The arcade is similar to a small pizza shop-no problem. Ping pong outside, but bring a ball and paddles. No game console in the room (whatever, not needed). The room was painted in about 1985 and the furniture dates then as well(strange worn-down arms of all chairs). All in all, decent for price and has basic needs. But not what I expected after checking the photos and going through the website.
