We stopped in for drinks overlooking the beach, and are still talking about how great the cocktails were! I had to get the bartender to give me his recipe for one of them. Won't disappoint!

The rooms have amazing ocean views and canal views. The suites rooms are also very spacious. They're very nicely decorated and the staff is amazing. It's right across the street from the beach with beach access.
The restaurant on site is only Ok and a bit slow with service, but I'm not sure that it's affiliated with the hotel.
I had to remove two stars because of the spa experience my wife had. My wife and her step mother signed up for all day spa packages and they both had a bad experience. Apparently during each service they were very pushy and tried to upsell upgrade after upgrade. When they opted for the upgrades they immediately had to initial for the upgrade. The entire experience felt like a nickel and dime experience instead of the relaxing experience it should have been for them.response / report this review -

Very disappointed with the service I received at the spa. We were told we could come to the hotel early to take advantage of the spa amenities so we did. Unfortunately spa customers are not allowed to use the pool at all but this was not explained prior to our arrival. The male who explained this was very rude and made us feel like we shouldn't have been there at all. He suggested we walk out to the beach "which is free of charge because it is public". I couldn't believe he said that. He must have realized our disappointment because he then said we would be "allowed" to use the pool but he would charge us $35 as a credit for a drink or lunch. I have been to other hotels where they allow their spa patrons access to the pool and as a result I have always purchased beverages until my service was to begin. We were also quoted $150 for the services we purchased and upon receipt of the charge the price was $10 higher and an added 20% gratuity as well. So we spent over $500 at your spa and were not permitted to relax by the pool for half an hour before our services. That is just unacceptable for an establishment renowned for its service.

Beautiful hotel, rooms and view Really relaxing and quiet pool. A bit overpriced for what they offer. They charge you a $35 Resort fee and they don't even let you use the spa. The rooms are nice the view is nice the location is really good but the hotel isn't anything extravagant or special. The breakfast buffet is expensive but soooooooooooo worth it.

Without a doubt one of the finest places to stay in ft. Lauderdale. Rooms are luxurious, staff is friendly, pool is fantastic.
The mini bar in the rooms are an actual bar. TVs in the bathrooms. Definitely good for business trips, romantic getaways or family trips.response / report this review -

My sisters wedding was at the Ritz Fort Lauderdale. It was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She had a beautiful sweet. My room for the night watching well equipped and very comfortable. There was a small snaffoo about the parking for the rehearsal where they wanted up to pay the parking fee even though we got our parking tickets validated at the bar and were there for under 2 hours(the parking tickets clear said under 2 hours is not cost). They ended up comping the parking for those of us who were validated. But still, 5 stars.

This hotel was great. From the start the front desk was very accommodating so were the bellmen, house keepers and most of the staff. The only area for improvement would be the pool staff. The hotel was not very crowded and you had to wait very long for a towel or for a chair to be cleaned off after someone left the pool area. One day we couldn't get a towel for over 30 minutes. The wait staff was hit or miss with some of the waitresses being great and others who seemed as though they couldn't be bothered. Management should definitely look into the overall attitude of the pool staff. Again, other then that the hotel is 5 star. Oh yea, i would suggest adding coffee makers to the rooms as in other Ritz properties.

The place was very nice and extravagant. The customer service was good too and we we're taken care of immediately. Overall the atmosphere and environment of the area was very nice and family friendly. Overall I would recommend and I would definitely do it again if I am in the area for vacation.

It's a Ritz-Carlton. Great rooms. Great views. Top service. Everything a la carte when it comes to amenities unless you find an inclusive rate. Highly recommend this hotel.

Love the Ritz-Carlton, just absolutely love it. My very first time exploring this place my mind wanted to stay forever. But besides that opinion, the crew and staff at the Ritz-Carlton are incredibly amazing and couldn't be any better than they are. They treat you as if your at your new home.

The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale is a Ritz-Carlton. By that, I mean you can expect all of the high quality service, attention to detail and opulent surroundings that you'd get in any Ritz-Carlton world wide. What you don't expect is the surprisingly modern and relaxed atmosphere they've created in the bar and restaurant. Excellent food and you feel fine sitting down with sand still on your feet from the beach across the street. Comfortable and luxe at the same time. Highly recommended!
