Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly. Near by stores to shop, eat & grab groceries! Grab a lounge chair early, they fill up quickly. Great activities for the kids. Some crafts cost $ but are well worth it!
I would have daily given this resort a five star rating but unfortunately my check in experience was not so pleasant and smooth. The room was still undergoing final cleanings when we reached our assigned room.
The sofa bed for kids is actually a joke. Highly uncomfortable and may be years old.
My kids didn't like it at all and refused to sleep on it the second night.
I found out why when I tried it. Haha.
The gift shop near the reception area and the food corner by the pool are good considering the fact that they are conveniently located near you.
Clean and well run. Great pool. Friendly staff. Only lacking the 4th star because the rooms could use a bit of modernization. Although there's no daily maid service, we were able to change linens and get any needed supplies in the mornings. I liked our room, but as rooms can be conjoined, some people moved close next door and cooked stinky fish nightly which gave my room a funk. Other than that, and the general fact that Weston is not near the beach, I was happy at this location and would return.
Stayed for a week in crane building. Check in was straight forward, we were very early but they found a room that was ready. It was 711B on the seventh floor with views over Weston. Quite a large room with sitting area, large TV, kitchen area with microwave toaster hob blender fridge freezer. Small balcony. We thought the double bed could have been bigger as the room could have taken it. Pool area was large and very nice. Big pool, large hot tub, children's pool and lots of sun beds. Coffee is supplied in the morning then lemonade, iced tea and water for the rest of the day. It's nice in the evening when the lights come on. There was an issue with the shower being low pressure but when reported they came within 15 minutes and replaced the valve. The only issue we had was we were supposed to have a clean on Friday but after two phone calls no one turned up and on the Saturday no one had turned up by 3 pm. It was only after my third phone call that someone came.
We Have been coming here for the past 15 years. We enjoy being here. The consign aire (Elizabeth ) is very helpful Knows where all the best places to go. But, you could use new cookware, and a slow cooker would be helpful. Other than that we love coming here. The balconies could use a floor cleaning
Recently stayed here and it was really nice! I love the lady in the gift shop. She's the sweetest. 😊 Hotel services were very nice and many activities were planned for each day by the pool if you wanted to join.
The place was nice but the family above us made a lot of noise. Also, the staff issue keys to our room to another family who walked into our suite while we were there. The resort has avoided addressing this security breach. First time I felt unsafe in a place I stayed. 3 phone calls, 3 emails and 2 face to face visits and they refuse to make it right. Makes me mad that someone who owns 3 timeshares with them is treated so poorly, that they will not close the issue. They treat potential owners much better than current owners.
This was supposed to be a new owner breakfast and welcome to the vacation village. Owner appreciation. It definitely wasn't!
Sales pitch lasted over 3 hrs long while they "processed" our visa gift card promised to us for our time. We already own a timeshare with them and they wanted us to pay today to join a point system and we just weren't interested. I am talking to my friend in Vegas about this mass shooting when the sales guy gets angry that I'm not giving my attention to him and his boss anymore, he calls me out on it and I got really angry at this point. So insensitive and pushy and has not a clue what is going on in my world.
Well now I am very angry about being held prisoner for 3hrs and they refuse to give me the promised visa gift card. They ask us to leave with nothing that they promised. I have such a bad taste from the entire experience. I'm sooooo angry.
My family and I are having a great time at this place. We are staying in a two bedroom suite, which is very spacious for the seven of us. My only complaint is there is no washer/dryer in the room, but there is one located on each floor. The hotel is about a 20-30 minute drive to Fort Lauderdale and about a 30-40 minute drive to Miami so we were able to easily do a day trip to each. We will definitely consider Vacation Village if we decide to travel to this area again.
You can't come in here looking for a five-star hotel service and amenities, including rooms. You get what you pay for and there is definitely value in this resort's ability to convince its patrons that they care. I recommend that if you get a good deal take it it will not be regretting it. If this review was helpful to you in any way please thumbs up the review. 👍🏼😉
Only stayed one evening before shipping put on our cruise but rooms were nice but most of all the staff was very nice and helpful. We received a room on the 7th floor and when we arrived to the room our key didn't work. A staff member happened to be near and assisted us in our room and even went and retrieved new keys for us and we didn't have to go anywhere as he did everything. Also while waiting for our Uber driver outside another staff member stopped just to check on us and ask if she could help us in anyway and made pleasant conversation. Very nice people and will be back!
Nice condos, awesome staff but have a vehicle. There's not much to do on the resort itself, but you can drive to many beaches. There is a pool though! A couple Would really be great if they had a bar or something on location for late night festivities.
They have a hot tub and a huge pool with dept between 3 feet to 5 feet. They also have a kid pool. Neatly maintained.
The resort was well maintained and with great views. The room had a bath tub and a Jacuzzi. I would definitely go back here.
First off I want to say if there was an option for negative stars I would pick that. I was given my room key and headed up to my room. About an hour later the manager knocks on my door asking for my ID saying he didn't believe it was real. Threaten me by saying he was going to call the cops and charge me for trespassing. UNBELIEVABLE. Then he continues to call me a smart ass and starts saying very rude comments like "Don't ever come back" I didn't want any trouble so I just got my things and left. I lost 200 dollars and I had no where else to stay. I never recommend ANYONE from staying at this horrible establishment. Management should feel ASHAMED!
Owner response just goes to show how PATHETIC this place is! Very incompetent!
I have stayed at Vacation Village before in a different building and it was wonderful! This time unfortunately when I booked a room it was in the Heron building (B Suite). Everything looked very old and outdated. When I booked, the picture of B Suite had a jetted tub in the picture they provided of the room. Turns out only A Suites have that upgrade. I called the front desk about switching to an A suite and they said they had none available. When I went back on the booking website, I saw them (A Suites) available to book online. Me being 34 weeks pregnant, I just wanted to take a nice bath but the bathroom was gross and the small tub in my room was stained. Don't think I will stay there again.
