I've been there for dinner and out was simply divine. I highly recommend the short ribs. The service is top class as well. The bar is great place Thu start ight finish a night!

This is a nice place, but for the price you pay, the internet should work. Had to leave more than once just to find a place to connect. If McDonald's can supply wifi, this place should be able to. The beach is really nice and big. The pool is awesome. The miniature golf course is not great. Rooms were really nice and big. Staff was helpful. Watch out for iguanas. They are lurking in the bushes.

A friendly, happy place to relax with family and close friends. The staff is personable and always concerned you are comfortable and happy here, like family. 10 years we have been enjoying boat show season at The Lago Mar.

Friendly staff and lovely accommodations. Room was clean and upscale. Hallways and elevators were warm which led to a slight musty smell. Food was good. Private beach - I want to go back!

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. You could see cruise ships leaving the port. Probably the nicest staff as everyone from the font desk to the wait staff and people that clean your room were always saying hello and asking if you needed anything. 5 star service! Beach front rooms have stunning views.

The best hotel with a great restaurant. The lobby is surprisingly small for such a large property. The service is amazing in every way. Our suite was huge and well stocked. Every single thing was on point. Loved our four night stay. Just avoid the on-site convenience store.

The family and I absolutely love this hotel. This was our first time herebut the wife is already making plans for us to come back. Spent the week here on vacation and didn't have one single problem. You can't ask for a better place location-wise. The hotel is located right on the beach and the boardwalk is right next door. There are good places to eat in every direction. The food at the hotel is a bit pricey but good if you don't feel like going anywhere. The rooms are decent bit a little dated, but that's just nit picking now. Overall, we highly recommend it!

One of the best resorts I have ever been in! Excellent hospitality. We checked-in late and tired. But the receptionist helped us with the formalities in few minutes. A very comfortable stay. Very courteous staff. Excellent rooms. Beautiful beach view. The beach is just perfect for a walk on the silver sand! Happened to talk to one of the sea turtle conservation person at the beach who walked us through their conservation plan. Overall an amazing place to stay!

Stayed here for three nights while road tripping in Florida with a friend. The room was spacious and with two girls having two bathrooms was a plus!! The resort has a private beach area and it made for an relaxing stroll after the sun went down. There's putt putt, a pool, yard chess game, a tennis court, and shuffle board. You'd never get bored. And right in the center of it All is a resort bar. There's a soda shop with pretty high prices and in my opinion a fair coffee shop. I went once and decided it wasn't for me. We did order room service and it was amazing!!! Get the conch chowder and chopped shrimp salad, you won't regret it!

Friendly and helpful staff at every turn. The place is gorgeous, and the beach is delightful.
One star removed because they have two pools, one a family pool and the other a Quiet Pool - no balls, no toys, no unattended children. But since they don't bother to enforce those rules, the 'quiet' pool is filled with toys and loud children.response / report this review -

When we first arrived to the hotel I tried to check in and was told that my room had been cancelled. I was here with the conference and it was not clear if we wanted to come a day early that we could stay in the same room at the conference Hotel. So me and a friend chose a cheaper hotel close by. So when checking-in they cancelled my whole reservation even for the conference days. Then the attendant checking me in States I hope I can find you something. I found this very rude. Miraculously he phones me a ring of course it wasn't the suite that I was supposed to get but one of their standard regular rims. This was fine with me the rooms are very nice although and some friends rooms even though the Suites are very big and some of them are dated Force could be cleaned a little bit better and they're tight squeezes in the bathroom. What you pay for in this hotel is access to the beach. They have lots of activities concierge service is good. On the whole this hotel is a nice place to stay However for the money I would have chose the previous Hotel I was at.

We are having a great time at the Lago Mar! The room is huge and clean. The wifi is strong. The pool is wonderful. The service is friendly. The food is great. The beach is epic. The location is perfect. The kids (8&2) loved EVERYTHING. There is very little to complain about, but I'll tryTypical resort prices for food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but nothing was better than average.

Generally we've had a great time at the hotel. Positivesroom is big, spacious and clean albeit slightly dated and staff are generally very friendly. Consfood is not up to standard of a place that changes $650/night (price we are paying) and they need more staff to keep pool and beach area cleaner. I've spent less for much more in Miami. We were here over Easter weekend and they need about 50% more staff to cover the facility needs. I would come back but would check out other Fort Lauderdale accommodations first.
