Beautiful country club hotel. Perfect if you want to splurge on a fancy stay. Great location right across the Aventura mall. Nice quiet and safe neighborhood
Large luxurious rooms. We also loved the truly resort style pools. You must try the serene salt room spa. This hotel is a gem even though it is still being renovated.
Loved this hotel. The best part was the saltwater pool right when you walk in. I could have spent an entire year in that pool, I was so relaxed.
The property was great, although a little pricey around meal time.
As far as beauty and luxury, incredible experience! The rates are not too bad, considering it is a luxury Resort. The only thing that is upsetting is they tack on an additional $200 per night charge/hold on to the room but they claim it goes right back on the card after a day or so.
Should be called "Turn around and go someplace else". I'll start with when we first got to our room. Although it had been "cleaned" there was a red sticky mess left on the dry bar, and the last guest had emptied part of the mini fridge to stuff in their left overs. After calling to the front desk to get that taken care of, and being assured that we wouldn't be charged for the missing items, I also noticed that the side tables had also not been cleaned in the sitting area, as well as dirt and cigarette butts on the rooms porch.
That night due to the humidity I then noticed, because of condensation, that the drinking glasses were also just being wiped, not going through a dishwasher. ALSO, and this is a big one, one of the glasses was chipped around the rim, leaving a very sharp edge. After bringing all this to management's attention, no one seemed too concerned as glasses were not replaced and none of the tables were cleaned. AND, I had to again talk to them about charges for the mini bar.
HOW THIS HOTEL IS PAST IT'S PRIME
Walking around you'll notice sand bags everywhere, at first I thought this was because of a recent hurricane. But no they have a serious drainage issue. Down spouts empty onto walkways and they have to divert it around with the sandbags. At the slightest little downpour the front entrance will be covered with towels to prevent people from falling because the water collects in spots it shouldn't. The dirt I mentioned on the rooms porch is because what does come in in the rain doesn't wash out but instead puddles.
The more you walk around, the more you see of this hotel falling apart and into disrepair. From the front fountain that has spouts not working to cracked tiles and walls.
We had an amazing stay at the hotel.we even extended 2 days because we loved the resort.
I want to thank everyone for our flawless stay ..hotel is beautiful..everyone so friendly.
Already recommended to others. And looking at other dates to go back..
Thanks again.
We've stayed here twice. The rooms are gorgeous and luxurious. The Bourbon Steak restaurant has a good menu, wonderfully prepared. I enjoyed the Scottish salmon, and many wife enjoyed the sea bass. There is one of the most beautiful and inviting swimming pools I've seen anywhere, with a "lazy river" that my seldom swimming wife loves. There it's a first-rate spa. Very helpful staff. Definitely want tho go back!
I loved the spa experience however I'm giving this rate because you need to beware of your belongings because they STEAL there! And the lost and found is useless because your items will not be reported ! I am so upset and depressed that this has happened to me I had to make a police report which is pointless because I know I'll never get my $225 MK watch back. I was also told that on your valet ticket there was a disclaimer that says they are not responsible for any damaged goods or stolen items. First and last time I'm stepping foot over there !
Pool is magnificent with lazy River and water slide. There is a beautiful waterfall as well. The service is great, water always available for the hot days as well as waitresses walking around if you want to order drinks or food by the pool. All in all a great day.
It was a very nice hotel. We were not there very long, but did get to eat in one of their restaurants, the Corsair Kitchen & Bar. The food was tasty and the service was fantastic. Jenna was extremely sweet. Her service made us like to come back and try other items on the menu. The valet was quick, friendly, and accommodating. They not only got our car at check out, but had us sit and relax on the benches while waiting for the car and then quickly loaded our luggage for us.
A very beautiful resort and the amenities are great. The staff is very professional and serviceable.
The only reason I would not give it another star is because they charge valet for everyday your there. I may have missed knowing this on my end. There are no other parking options so you have no choice. Also the pricing on their menu for their room service is out of date. I ordered breakfast expecting it to be $30 but it came out to $60.
Overall recommend for professional and personal travel.
