Had not been for a couple of years. We had been regulars at the Banyan Restaurant but due to the lack of activity they would seat us in the bar which when busy was noisy and had bad service. We decided to give it another shot. The restaurant was still empty and we decided to eat in the bar anyway since it wasn't busy. We actually had a nice experience. The burgers were excellent and the piano player was pleasant. We'll be back and if not busy will stay for dinner.
The location and grounds we're very nice. The rooms were nothing special, standard fare for the most part. The elevator in our building is very scary it makes loud noises when nearing the top floor and begins to shake kinda like the Disney ride "tower of terror" honestly leaving you worries it might fall or drop. The service has been great overall and I would be happy to come back.
Cool waterfalls over the main pool. Great cabana next to the pool with excellent service by Jeff who's been there for 2 years. Food prices are not cheap but the serving size is quite large and tastes delicious. Accommodations are more than adequate but make sure you ask for dishes in the suites.
WOW 😳 what a fantastic place to enjoy with your significant other! My wife and I are both local roofing contractors and my wife has always wanted me to enjoy this place with her but me and spa.yeah right, wrong! I am so glad I decided to take her up on her offer a few months back because we have been enjoying monthly spa trips together since then and it gets better every time. From the friendly staff all around the resort to the top notch gym - we love this place! You've got customers for life! Guys. go to the Spa with your wife, hit the gym, hit the sauna, hit the steam room and finish with a couples massage, you'll be very happy you did! ✌️
Even though I was only visiting family there, I could tell that Bonaventure Resort and Spa was quite a nice place. The room that I was in was pretty good room, and it even had a little kitchen. I would definetly recommend staying here if you have business in Weston.
We were here for hurricane Irma on my boyfriends company. The room was nice, however. There were no paper cups to use, which I thought odd. There were two rolls of toilet paper and no extra - odd with there being a storm, you'd think they would give extra. The biggest let down was being Highly charged for breakfast. I didn't think it was nessecary. As well not having a reasonably priced place to eat open for more than just dinner time.
First, this place is quite far from everything. It's a decent place but staying in the marketing building is not really vacationing.
There was a broken glass on the bathroom floor and the safe wasn't working and appeared to have been deliberately smashed. The pool hours had the pool area closed up before dark and was quiet. It was an attractive pool and hot tub. The rooms were comfortable but the kitchen had no cookware, utensils, plates, etc.. The fridge covered everything in a frost. The gift shop wasn't open during hours of operation. The staff was friendly and the parking was great. There's a spa that looked amazing with several services offered for a price. The 90 minute presentation turned into 4 hours plus, which took away from the 2 days provided.
Came here for an event. This is supposedly a super swanky resort, but I'm just unimpressed by the quality of the facilities and level of service. Things are generally a little warn and run down, demonstrating a lack of care for and attention to upkeep. One of our group asked for a different type of tea than the tea laid out on the table, and the team member replied, "If you don't see it, we don't have it." I'm actually fine that this is the case - a hotel offers what it offers and if they don't have anything else, that's reality - but I think there's a better way to express that same thought to a guest. A simple, "I'm so sorry, we don't have any additional options." would suffice.and be infinitely better.
The pool area is fantastic with a waterfall. Water zumba and exercise classes everyday. The residence is very nice, a full 1 bedroom apartment. Restaurants and shopping in walking distance. It is just a short drive to the ocean, beaches, casinos and the everglades.
My wife and I frequent this establishment at least twice a year. For the last five years we've enjoyed mini get aways at this resort. This weekend we stayed for two nights. Some highlights of our experience. The Whirlpool didn't have water, the pool needs to be redone, the beds were soft and bad for backs, the air filter(pic attached) was from 10-30-16. Sadly, I mentioned these issues at check out and no real emphasis on our stay and comments. I guess we need to find another place to stay.
This spa is amazing. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is a gym, full locker room with very nice showers, hot tub, and steam room in both the Men's and Women's locker rooms. The tea rooms and outdoor garden with waterfall are great.
I travel often for work have experienced great service at hotels and Bonaventure was not even close. It's an older hotel and we had few maintenance issue when we arrived. The hotel was over sold with a kids soccer tournament and two weddings. Returned after dinner and they had no parking. Had to valet and be shuttled to room, then walk back in the morning. Also was charged for a night after I had already canceled the extra night a week before. Chose to leave and pay, than stay another night. Would not recommend. They were not prepared and didn't care to make sure guests were taken care of.
