The mansion’s exterior is beautiful. Inside there is a lot of charm in the parlor rooms but manthe rooms and the rest of the interior desparatley need an updating. The decor and the rooms feel like nothing has been done since the 90s. It kind of felt like staying at an expensive holiday inn. Excellent staff though. Top notch service.

I had a wonderful visit at MODA. The building is breathtaking, you can envision women in corsets and big gowns enjoying tea in the library. The staff was absolutely accommodating and a pleasure to be with. I especially appreciate the impromptu tour Marty gave of the ballroom areas. Overall I would go again and would recommend to a friend!

Our parents came to visit my girlfriend and me in Buffalo and they stayed here. We spent time in the lobby, playing pool and using the honor bar. The butlers were very friendly and it looked like a really nice establishment.

STAY AWAY. Ruined my 5 yr anniversary. Screwed up my reservation, charged my credit card in full, turned my wife and I away without a room available, and NEVER REFUNDED my money. The office Mgr took my reservation over the phone and booked the date in the wrong month. No e-mail, no phone call, no concierge service whatsoever. Simply charged my credit card a few weeks before our anniversary date. I plead with the front office mgr for an hour to refund my card. He kept repeating, "There are no grounds for which to refund your money."
I asked to speak with the GM and was told she wasn't there. I called several times that week and was never granted a return call, so I kept calling and she finally answered. She told me that she would absolutely refund my money and it would take a few days. 2 weeks went by.. no refund. I kept calling back and forced to leave messages. 1 Month later, still no refund. Took my money for absolutely NO SERVICES rendered. This is no way to do business, especially in a small market like Buffalo, NY. They could have had a customer for life, but chose to burn me over the cost of a night's stay. Any apology or excuse/response to this post should be ignored. I gave the management team plenty of chances to be reasonable.response / report this review -

Great location, beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. We used their complimentary Land Rover transport service to get around town, it really made the stay enjoyable. The breakfast had many options and put the normal hotel continental breakfast to shame.

🚘Andre was the best butler ever. He has so personable and made our visit so special along with the rest of the staff. The Mansion is so beautiful with its old world decor. We celebrated my wife Linda's birthday there. We really liked the chauffeuring that is included. My Beautiful Linda had a very special birthday. Thank you The Mansion on Delaware it's so beautiful there!!

This was a great and interesting place to stay in Buffalo! Beautiful historic building, with extremely friendly and professional service. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and unique and ours offered great views of the historical Buffalo area. Will definitely be back!

We booked to be close to the Keybank Center for a concert. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. We checked in quickly and parked in the garage which they charged you $10 for. The hotel was packed but we never had to wait for a drink at the bar and it was very family friendly. We'd stay again when in buffalo!

I loved the butler's and everyone was nice. I would've liked to have a better view for a $215 room. I also liked the location and the shuttle service.

The service was attentive and pleasant. The food was exemplary. The ambience enjoyable. The only critique I can offer is that at the end of the evening, the staff was requested to play upbeat disco genre music and played motown instead. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
