Perfect location right next door to the Alamo and across the street from the Riverwalk mall, within walking distance of the river walk and multiple restaurants. Room was on the smaller size, but hey, it's just for sleeping, right? Room was very clean and parking was very convenient. Very reasonably priced as well.

If you are looking for the true San Antonio tourist experience, look no further. The Crockett is a historic hotel steps from the Riverwalk and overlooking the Alamo. This property is in the epicenter of SA and is super convenient and walkable. The rooms are big and comfy and the staff is very helpful. Breakfast is very complete and satisfying. The Texas-shaped waffles somehow seem bigger than regular waffles. We also got to work out an swim at their sister property, the Sanger Hotel, across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

Location was great. Right next to the San Antonio Riverwalk. Room was small, but clean. We had one small issue, but it was promptly handled by the staff. The age of the accommodations was apparent but definitely part of the charm. Breakfast was better than average and for an extended time. We would stay again.

Comedian Daryl Felsburgh recently stayed here while on tour, and we were very glad to be able to help! The room was very nice, and the property is luxurious with an incredible staff. There's an incredible breakfast in the morning to help get your day going as well. We can't wait to arrange more stays for our clients here knowing they will be very well taken care of!

Needs a ton of updates with regard to furniture and decor. Water temperature repeatedly shifted from freezing to scalding, even during a short shower. The tub filled with water during a short shower also. The walls/windows seem very thin as well. From the third floor I could clearly hear folks' conversations from the street, and the sounds of the horse drawn carriages until late into the night kept me up. On the plus side, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty decent. I generally love historic hotels and understand that you give some things up when staying one, but Crockett Hotel was a disappointment overall. I won't stay there again.

We used the parking lot while visiting downtown San Antonio and had a good experience with the security guard. Also it was nice to visit the lobby and the bar of this historic location. Gotta say that next time we are in the area we'll probably stay a this hotel.

The location right next to the Alamo was fantastic and convenient. They were accommodating in letting us check out late and keep our car with them for a few hours after checkout. The breakfast just could have been run a bit later and the rooms are definitely small

Visiting a friend staying here. His room was small, but comfortable, and he had a corner room overlooking the back of the Alamo. The breakfast buffet in the morning was everything most "3-star" hotels offer nowadays, PLUS "bake-your-own" waffles shaped like Texas. You won't find THAT just anywhere. 😉 The staff is friendly and responsive. The lobby has lots of maps and brochures and apparently a desk to advise visitors. The hotel is affiliated with the Menger Hotel across the street, where you could easily spend an afternoon perusing historic photos, paintings, and quaint shops.

Our stay was much better than expected. It's within walking distance of anything you'd want to do along the river walk, it's one of the few hotels in the area that offers free breakfast, the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again next time we're in town

The Crockett is a nice vintage hotel to stay at. You are located literally steps away from the River center Mall and the Alamo.

The parking is Valet only unless you seek out a nearby garage to park your vehicle in. But, I was pleased that my car didn't have any issues once I received it back. I'm always leerie of other people driving and parking my vehicles so it's nothing against them!🙂

The staff is very polite and in my experience quick to recommend things in the area to do if you ask them. The hotel has a very vintage feel which h I enjoyed.

The price is great for a room, especially given how close you are to the mall and Alamo!

The rooms are slightly dated but, they're still very nice and cozy!

The hotel is in a very nice location just across the street from the Riverwalk Mall complex on one side and the Alamo grounds on the other. Access to a large number of restaurants is fewer than five minutes by foot. The rooms have been recently renovated and are quite large by modern hotel standards, but the television in my room was undersized for its distance from the foot of my bed. If I were to need to use closed captioning, it is likely that they would have been unreadable. The free breakfast was a nice bonus and was better than the average continental fare with a couple of different egg preparations and sausage available as well as fresh grilled waffles. My only issue was with the air conditioner. Once I figured out how to keep the fan from cycling at night it was fine though and I would probably stay here again if I were to return.

A hotel with personality and charm. It's older establishment that has been updated and well preserved. Convenient location to The Alamo and the Riverwalk. The rooms are small but very bright with large windows. A great place to stay.

Most staff was very friendly. The woman at the front desk at our initial check in (Linda) was not to welcoming or friendly. She was informative but almost seemed annoyed. The valet staff and housekeeping staff were extremely nice and friendly and so was the bartender at Ernie's bar. The hotel was very beautiful and historic and clean. Elevators are a bit small, but overall and fantastic experience. I will definitely stay here at our next visit.
