One of the only smoking allowed in room hotels I could find near Riverwalk. But you need to bring your own blankets, towels and washcloths. They don't have enough for all the rooms and guests.

This place sucks! You have to pay for parking. You have to put a yellow tag on your dash so it won't get towed. Tow company won't check with office if for some reason they don't see a tag. In our case the office didn't have our tag portion so our car still got towed away! About $250 to get car back. Don't waste your time or money there!

I dealt with 2 receptionists during my stay 2 weeks ago (December 5). The woman who worked that shift around 3PM wasn't rude, just lacked customer service skills. The gentleman that worked the counter the morning of December 6 was very rude. Didn't even thank us for our stay. The room offered a very thin blanket. We had an adequate amount of towels. But the shower head was very poor. The parking is $14 which is insane. As far as the free breakfast, they only had poor coffee and toast.

If I could give zero stars I would. This was the worse hotel I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in better places that cost me $40-$60. Cost us $130 which included a $15 parking charge (ridiculous). I understand this is in the heart of San Antonio but I've never been charged separately for parking in a hotel lot. They toilet would not flush. The chain in the tank was so rusted out it would not stay on. We fixed it three times. Our room had low lighting. Even with all three lamps and opening the curtains I couldn't see anything. Main light fixture above bathroom sink did not work. NO BLANKET!! They only provided one sheet and a half a coverlet which is normally used for decorative purposes. They only provided one bath towel/1 wash cloth per person. Dirty carpet, dirty couch, dirty windows, no screen in one set of windows, dirty curtains---stains looked like blood but could've been paint (not sure, but they should be embarrassed to hang them). Check in staff was unfriendly. Housekeeping staff were unfriendly. Check out staff didn't even greet me or ask how my stay was. I let him know the toilet was broken and he seemed uninterested and simply said "my apologies" and handed me my receipt. You are better off paying a little bit more for a better hotel than being disappointed by this one. Worse Days Inn EVER!!!!

Very mixed on this. Staff were kind and helpful. Location was awesome. I hated they considered parking an amenity for $15/day. Rooms had issues. Was fairly clean. Our shower didn't work so they changed us immediately and compt'd my parking fee one night. There weren't enough towels and they were seriously painful to dry with. The body towels they left us were the floor towels you use when you get out of the shower. My dad's room had issues too. They changed him out also. It just seems like the cleaning staff would know the shower doesn't work. I might stay there again but I'd ask for towels that didn't hurt and check the room before I move my stuff in. The breakfast is as advertised so don't expect to leave super full but it works.

For a $50 price the room is decent. This is a super cheap option to be in quick walking distance of the Alamo and RiverWalk.

This hotel is absolutely ridiculous!!!! It's disgusting, roach infested, and dangerous. I've never left a bad review for any business until I stayed here. I booked for three nights I checked in at 10pm and checked out first thing in the morning. I still had to pay for my first night and in process of being Without a hotel room until later this afternoon at another place. I didn't even want shower or touch ANYTHING in the room. DONT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE. Awful staff , awful hotel !!!

Close to Alamo & River walk. Terrible housekeeping. Drapes were falling off the rod, and really dusty. Carpet was dirty & wet (leaking refrigerator). Hasn't been vacuumed under chairs and behind the bed. Non-slip coating in bath tub was peeling off in large chunks. Dirtiest place we've ever stayed. Front desk offered to move us, No thanks, we're already unpacked. They should should have paid us to stay there.

If you're on a budget and going to the conference center this is definitely a good option. The rooms are clean enough (though some but say a bit dated, others would argue it had character) and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was not too great though. Felt like it was mostly sugary foods. Would suggest fruit maybe as it was hard to find anywhere near. Happy with my stay. Was great value for cost.

I wasn't expecting this place to be super nice because it is pretty cheap. However, the overwhelming smell of smoke and mothballs is bad. My fiancee sat on the bed and it broke. The room itself was not clean especially the floor. The bedside lamps were broken and it's really old and out dated. I could've dealt with everything but the smell. We decided to leave even though they were attempting to repair the bed but they didn't have another room like the one we booked so we checked out and went to another hotel. I got up this morning and they have charged me more money for? I don't know but have called customer care. Hopefully we will be refunded the extra charge. I don't think I will make this same mistake twice. I only can suggest that you spend a few extra bucks elsewhere.

My grandmother and I stayed here one night on our way through San Antonio. The motel is a five minutes from the Alamo and the River Walk, which is the only nice thing that can be said about it. The room reeked of mildew, the sheets didn't appear clean, and the shower water never warmed up. Despite the location, we would not stay here again.

Initially I was inspired to make the decision to stay here because of the location being so close to the downtown river walk. Upon getting there the check in process was alright. As we entered the room, an unpleasant scent ambushed us. Looking over the room there was minor things like an outlet hanging out of the wall and a bathroom door that had a piece missing out of it. I figured we had booked a hotel that I didn't expect too much out of considering it was on the cheaper side. All night long there was people walking in and out to the parking lot looking as if they was mischievous behavior, considering they were walking into rooms and back onto the corner near the hotel and waiting for god knows what. I put all this to the side considering we didn't book a nicer hotel. Now one day later I see on my debit card that I got charged for the already broken door. I am very upset and will never be staying in this specific hotel or any Days Inn for that matter. I was assured that the rooms are checked daily for damages, I however find that inaccurate because I know for sure that we are not the sort of crowd to go around trashing hotel rooms. My income doesn't allow any cushion to be paying for hotel room doors that were damaged probably long before my stay.

Pick another place! I have not written negative reviews believing "If I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything." But I want to save you the disappointment we had 4 weeks ago. We booked Days Inn online due its location close to the San Antonio tourist attractions. Upon arrival it was in a run down area. They put us in a room across the street that had the door propped open, housekeeping was not done and no housekeeper was around. It had a mildew smell and looked dingy. Upon returning to the office, they gave us another room in their main building which was not fullycleaned, was dated and dingy and we were uncomfortable staying there. Asked for a refund and were told we would have to talk to accounting next Wednesday due to booking 3rd party. I have called once a week for the past several weeks and they will not give a refund. They offer a credit of another nights stay, but this is unacceptable for 2 reasons: 1. We don't live near there and will not be returning. and 2. If I did not feel comfortable staying there the first time, why would we go back or give the credit to a friend to use there? We found another hotel nearby for $10 a night more that was excellent. I suggest you look elsewhere.
