I stayed at the Hotel Valencia with my husband for two nights. The staff was very hospitable and the rooms were beautifully decorated - even nicer than the pictures. The Fit breakfast was also exceptional! The subtle Valencia orange theme was a nice touch.

Great location but can't recommend this hotel. I really wanted to love this place, theoretically it's a beautiful property. When we arrived we were informed that the King room we booked and prepaid for was no longer available and we would be in a room with 2 full-beds, not even queens. They offered to move us to a King room the next day if one was available but we really didn't want to deal with packing up and relocating. When we got to the room there was some garbage on the floor and gum stuck to the wall and the bathroom was kinda dingy like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The wifi only allows 2 devices per room so you and your family will have to fight over who gets wifi. I tried to plug my computer into both of the Ethernet ports in the room but neither worked. We expressed our concerns to the front desk but they did not offer any resolution other than to move us the next day. Your mileage may vary but I would definitely not stay here again to avoid any similar issues. Stay at the Hotel Havana instead!

My significant other and I stayed her for a night in order to walk the Riverwalk and have a romantic evening. The hotel was beautiful and our room was very spacious and comfortable. It was wonderful being so close to the Riverwalk. We were able to walk everywhere and didn't need to take the car out of valet. The staff were very courteous and friendly and had no problems answer every question that I had. Would definitely recommend this hotel.response / report this review -

We stayed here for our wedding night & the following day and were very impressed with how kind and awesome the hotel staff was. We received many well wishes, blessings, and congratulations from the hotel staff and it made our entire stay very pleasant. We used hotel services such as valet parking & room service and enjoyed each one because of how convenient and fast they were. Some of the hotel staff remembered that we were newlyweds and kept wanting to make sure that we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything they could do for us, it was nice receiving such personal attention especially when we noticed how busy they were.

A pretty good hotel overall. But after my interactions with the night desk person who was asleep at the front desk, and overall was just not interested in helping me I can't give 5 stars. Everything else was great though. Food at the restaurant was nice. Was a great place for a conference to be held. Housekeeping staff did a very nice job. Almost everything was perfect. Just the one bad apple, but I still enjoyed my stay.

Love this hotel. The beds are amazing, rooms are spacious and everything smells clean and fresh. Decorated very nicely. Great ambiance. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Valets were quick with the umbrellas when it rained. Will definitely return again.

I love the beautiful, Old World Spanish influence in the architecture and design. It's warm and sophisticated. The staff is great and the walk to Houston street or to the Riverwalk makes for easy access downtown. Service is exceptional and the boutique hotel experience is in full force here. I love the private rooms space for meetings and weddings. Absolutely stunning.

The stay was great! They overbooked on our particular room, but didn't hesitate to upgrade us to a suite. They also honored my corporate discount in addition to the upgrade. The room was a corner room with great views, and a good sleeping area. My only complaint would be the bathroom, it was lack luster and seemed to be an afterthought. I will mention that the occupants next door where a bit "loud" but that is not the hotels fault other than they could invest in a bit of sound proofing. Overall, the stay was great and the room was great. We enjoyed our stay and will visit them again in the future and stay the night.

We really enjoyed our stay at Valencia. The staff was very accommodating, the complementary continental breakfast was great. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful hotel. Celebrity status bar. Check out the signed glass valencia oranges by famous celebrities next to the bar. The rooms are huge, I stayed in a king corner room with a view on both sides. Room has all amenities you'd need and the staff is courteous. Would stay again. It's a romantic place to stay in San Antonio.

Fantastic hotel with probably the best customer service I have had at a hotel. Great free breakfast. Staff went above and beyond when travelling with a toddler. Interior is just beautiful.

This is a beautiful hotel in San Antonio. Walking distance to the great spots. Great location steps from river walk. Service was great. Very attentive staff. Good continental breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms
