Stayed for 2 nights, was a good decent stay within reasonable walking distance of the capital. Room was fine and service was fine as well.

So surprised at how nice the rooms were and how ept the staff were. Didn't know Super 8 motels were so nice! Are all of them?

My kids and I stayed here 1 night, and we weren't expecting much for the price. From the outside it looks pretty rough, a bit run down, with a few iffy-looking men just hanging around. The stairwell smelled of stale spilled beer. Our room, however, looked quite nice, obviously recently-renovated, and clean. It was small, but serviceable. Beds were harder than I expected, the shower had no water pressure, and the mini fridge could not cool down effectively. But, the wi-fi was great. I was very unhappy by the sheer amount of noise during the night. It is right next to I-35, so the road noise was awful. There were other noises, too, that kept waking me up... sounded like there was construction going on nearby, but there wasn't. The continental breakfast included cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee (decent), hot cocoa, OJ, bread for toast, yogurt (I think), bananas, individually-wrapped pastries, and Texas-shaped waffles.
We did like the location near downtown, but would likely not stay here again.

I was a little skeptic to stay here because it was cheap and I’m horrible at choosing hotels but this place was great! The desk guy was extremely friendly and the room was nice and clean. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room and they offer free breakfast! Would 100% stay here again.

Just spent 2 nights there, 2/10 and 2/11/18...and it was wonderful. The staff are so polite and courteous and willing to help with whatever one might need. The room was clean, fresh, smell was so pleasing and it was quiet...Coffee and tea in the room, free breakfast, close to downtown, one could walk on a good day. We were there and it was cold and rainy, but the heat in the room kept me nice and warm. I will go there again and I will stay with Super8 Downtown Austin. Good job folks....please keep it as clean and fresh with remarkable service as it was when I was there last weekend. I will be back!

BED BUGS! We rented 2 rooms that was a good distance away from each other and both rooms had bed bugs. Getting woken up from the bites is no way to start your weekend away! Then they have a young house keeper check and says she thinks one room is good, but my question is how does the hotel think she is qualified to inspect for different bugs. We won't be staying at another Super 8 anytime soon, thanks for ruining our friends birthday bash in Austin

Great place to stay for an affordable hotel near downtown. A fairly quiet and comfortable space that looks to be recently remodeled. I will be staying here again.

The room and location is great. The rooms are pretty nice too. Only thing was we did not have a "do not disturb" sign. I went to the cleaning person's cart to ask for one but he/she either couldn't hear or ignored me. I was running a bit late after waiting so I just stole well borrowed one.

Do not stay here!! Beds were dirty, bedding had stains on them, rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. There were also 2 bee hives, one being just outside our room. Since it was stated that no refund would be given, we had no choice but to stay. Furthermore, there was no manager on site. I did speak with a manager the following day when checking out with no luck. Management is terrible about following up with any customers. I still have a complaint filed and will be escalating it accordingly.

I don't even know how this place has 3 stars. I wouldn't have given any stars if possible.

A great place to catch some sleep after our concert. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member and a clean room and bathroom. Beds are abut stiff but for a short term stay you can still get a good nights sleep. Parking is okay, but can get somewhat tight if you have a larger vehicle. Convenient to most of the city and a short walk to the Frank Erwin center for concerts, shows, or games. A+ for this motel.

Arrived in Austin after a 6 hour drive to find a clean cozy and affordable hotel room. The best part was how close 6th street was! We took a nice 10-15 minute walk down to see a concert show and go out drinking, wouldn't recommend walking at night though. Parking lot is not gated, and our bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way other than that it was a very comfortable stay and would totally go back! Thank you!
