It is nice, very nice but warm cookies are not enough in today's industry. No free breakfast, happy hour etcbut I would stay again. The suite are larger than most others, really nice hotel. The service was great they set the bar high for there peers. The cookies are still the best.
Great location near the capitol and the University of Texas Austin campus. Spacious suites at reasonable prices, most with balconies, living rooms and kitchenettes. A good selection of restaurants and shopping nearby. Close to Austin B-cycle stations, in a very walkable neighborhood. Not far from The Drag, the historic section of Guadalupe Street. A good place to stay while in Austin.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with 3 children and 2 adults and had tons of space. We travel frequently and this room by far was the largest and had the best layout of all our travels. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom as well. Large closets in each bedroom, a sitting area and small kitchen as well. Fairly good room service with a good selection of food to please everyone. The pool and gym are on the smaller size but serve their purpose well enough. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Glad we found this place!
Nice spacious rooms with the usual. Beds and chairs comfortable. Kitchen a little lacking but didn’t use much besides the fridge anyway. Would’ve been nice to have complimentary water. Asking tv volume for one channel wouldn’t work. Not sure why but other channels were fine. Just annoying that it was the one channel we wanted to watch. Decent small work out area and outdoor pool that it was too cold to stay in. Valet parking during stay $35/night. Kind of pricy but no other options. Convenient location to many areas in Austin.
Really nice hotel. Stayed for a conference at the convention center here and was really nice. People were nice and we were early for check-in and had to wait about an hour for our room, so we went across the street to eat lunch until then. Room was a 2 room, 2 bed suite and was really nice. There is an issue with the toilet being hard to flush. Also a lack of towel hooks both for hand towel and rag\bath towel. We ended up using the hangers in the closet to hang towels. Beds were amazing and slept really good on them. Blankets weren't too heavy so works really well. Also had a little balcony facing north.
The beds were very comfortable. Different choice of pillows to fit your need. The room we had included a little kitchen area with a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher. With so few dishes, the washer seems unnecessary. Also Included a little coffee machine and microwave. This was awesome so we could enjoy some good eats in th hotel more easily. The staff was very friendly. The hotel does have a restaurant but it did seem a little expensive. But many great places to eat in town. The conference center is about a mile away. Great places to walk and enjoy the town. They do have a shuttle service available but only when they had 2 working to park cars and limited locations as well. But over all helpful.
Really nice, clean and friendly. Parking a little steep, but what the heck, the friendly valet staff make up for that. Love the hot cookies at check-in!!! Our bathroom door didn't close and voila! It was fixed by the time we got back! They had offered us a different room, but we were fine and we're going to be at my son's wedding.. would recommend this hotel to Everyone!
Great hotel in the heart of downtown Austin. Perfect location if you want to walk downtown attractions. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast in the hotel was very good - kids eat for free!
Great location. Lobby staff is very helpful. Rooms are big and in good repair. I like the large suite with a lot of living space. I'm frustrated Hilton doesn't allow reward points so I'm going to switch to a chain that accommodates business travelers. The points matter and so many of us have to use our corporate system to book. The rates are the same and it's terrible to penalize frequent travelers who have to follow corporate policies.
Great Hotel. Staff was very polite and their cookies were amazing. But we ended up having to leave a day early and the staff was very nice about it. If I get to come Austin again I will consider this hotel.
Stayed here for a friend's birthday. We used our room as a party spot and as crash space after a trip down to 6th later in the evening. The room was decently spacious and had nice fixtures. The bathroom only had a sliding door which wasn't great for our situation but ultimately wasn't a problem. Lack of on-site non-valet parking was unfortunate but I was able to park for $15 in the garage across the street at Moody Bank. The hotel has a kind of old-school charm to it and the walls seem real thick, things were very quiet at the end of the night. Overall, had a great time! Would stay here again.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around
My wife, baby, and I stayed in one of their suites for one night and had a great experience. Every time we asked for those famous chocolate chip cookies, they gave one to us and they were always warm and soft.
They gave us a crib for our baby.
The bar downstairs let us take our drinks to our room.
The suite had a living room and a small kitchen and a great view of the city.
It's very close to the Texas State Capital.
They have an outdoor pool and a decent gym.
We'd stay here again!
Very good valet service when we first came in; very quick to return our car too. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable, so no complaints there. The best by far was the breakfast. Delicious coffee with a big selection of breads, pastries, and warm breakfast items. Overall a very good hotel and one I would recommend
