I worked with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel to help set up a professional workshop for an organization I'm a part of. The staff were helpful, responsive, and attentive to detail, both before and during the event, and checked with us multiple times to be sure that the meeting space, food, beverages, and even A/V equipment were set up to our specifications. We received good feedback from attendees, and the DoubleTree's central location and free parking seemed to be especially appreciated. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and the free-standing event/meeting space offered a good level of privacy and was a nice change from the usual hotel ballroom. Plus, the DoubleTree's freshly made chocolate chip cookies are delicious (and complimentary at the front desk)! I've had a great experience with this hotel and will definitely plan to work with them again.
Overall a good hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Overall no complaints!

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is a beautiful hotel overlooking downtown Austin. It has fantastic views, good rates and is thoroughly clean inside and out.
Great location to UT. Stayed there for swim trip. Walked to swim stadium just over the freeway. Breakfast and complimentary coffee in morning. Shower water was nice and hot. Denny's is in parking lot. Good on and off the ramp lots of construction now. Beware of traffic stops.
Room very nice. Awful coffee maker. Got stuck in the elevator. Charged 18 for parking. People were cordial not real friendly. Could have done free parking to make up for elevator. Rate our stay at a 7
Overall decent hotel. Located right off I35 and fairly close to campus. The rooms were nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a little expensive, however, and the road noise from I35 was quite loud from my room, which kept me up a little bit. As with many hotels, the pillows aren't great so consider bringing your own
I am absolutely appalled by the way my friends and I were treated here at this establishment. For starters when I first arrived to check in the front desk lady acted as if my request to pay part of my reservation in cash was not doable. After the manager came over to assist her she just walked away and went to another customer. I watched her offer the lady before me warm cookies (which the lady declined) but I was told there were no more. The room was for my husband, myself and a couple of close friends. My friends arrived a few hours after my husband and I did and upon us seeing each other from months of being apart we laughed, hugged, and greeted each other. Shortly after doing so (the lady that originally was helping me and decided to walk off) was at our door knocking stating that she received a noise complaint (mind you it was only 6:30pm on a Saturday evening/Halloween weekend in a college town) We kept it down and continued on with our evening plans. When we returned and got all settled for bed shortly afterwards the gentleman that was working the front desk at night (Trey) banged on our door. When I finally answered he rudely said he received a noise complaint and this was the second time & if it happens again he's going to ask me to leave and then stated "And oh yea, here's your bill" I feel that this is unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous. We spent $250 to stay at a hotel and be treated as if we were not welcomed here. We have stayed at various Hilton hotels all over the U.S. This has been the worst experience ever. I will NEVER stay at any other Hilton hotel as a result of this poor treatment. And the fact that he had the nerve to just toss me my bill as if my money was not just as green as everyone else's was very unprofessional and uncalled for.
King size room was nice. Spacious bathroom, hair dryer included. Warm cookie at front desk was delicious!! Location was close to downtown, about 6-7 mins and easy to catch an uber
The rooms are large, very clean, and nice; with good quality bedding and furniture; also has a useful personal safe. The customer service was exceptional; everyone is helpful, polite, and professional. They have a nice sports bar with a good bar tender, and the food was great as well; it also has a nice outside pool area. I highly recommend this hotel. It is also located right next to a Dennys.
Service has been great. The location is convenient. The rooms are modern and clean and spacious. It's a bit loud being next to the freeway but after a bit it becomes background noise.
Clean, quiet, good location for getting around Austin, nice pool, friendly front desk staff top notch customer service! I think he name was Bill he was a gem to deal with. We didn't have any issues during our stay We loved having the Denny's next door.
Overall pleasant stay. Not the easiest to get to, but that's because of the highway/road system here. A little bit older building, and a little unsettling next to the cemetery. Staff was friendly, so no complaints there.
Would definitely stay here again if I needed downtown access. Convenient but without the parking charges. Restaurant staff and service needs a refresher desperately.
8 TRUCKS WERE BROKEN INTO IN THE HOTEL PARKING LOT THE NIGHT WE STAYED THERE.
Our truck was parked in one of the closest spots to the hotel in a well-lit area. There was nothing visible in the truck and nothing was stolen (because there was nothing to steal). The driver’s side window was broken and the center console and glove compartment were left open. The hotel does not have security on-site despite charging $15 for parking. Their maintenance man had a large shop vac, and they were kind enough to vacuum all of the broken glass out of the vehicle – it definitely appeared they had a bit of experience handling this.
When we inquired about getting a refund (or discount) for our room, they informed us that “they don’t do that” for vehicle break-ins. If you choose to stay there and have the option to choose between a truck and a sedan or SUV, choose to bring a sedan or an SUV. If you have no other options besides a truck, bring anything of value into the hotel and leave your doors unlocked overnight.

The staff was great, particularly Valerie Who was very helpful. The rooms are a nice "big" size and the beds are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. It's one of the best that I've been to in recent times. Thanks again to all of the staff and cleaning crew they were all great.
