Great location cross the street from a shopping mall and easily accessible

I stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Aurora/Naperville as I've often done in the past on June 22, 2016 to relax and just get away from the daily stress of life. Plus I have arthritic knees and a leg injuries and I wanted to be on one level instead of being at home doing stairs. I received my key and entered my hotel room. Right away, I noticed that the carpet looked kind of stained and dirty. As I looked around the room, I also noticed that the steel bar that divides the carpet from the tile between the bedroom and closet/sink area only had one nail in it so it kept spinning around every time I walked over it. It should have been secure with 5 nails. The wall behind the bathroom door was missing paint and had large white streaks on the wall. I was disappointed but by that time I was too exhausted to complain or go to another room. I retired after eating and noticed none of the lamps by the bed worked. I had just had a knee injury so I was on a walker. I had to exchange the bulbs out of the living rooms and switch those with the bulbs in the bedrooms in order to have proper lighting. I called down to the main desk to ask for a wake up call the next morning. They never called. I was so disappointed. I have been staying at this hotel since they originally opened and I have never experienced this type of service.EVER!! I'm not sure who dropped the ball but I hope they get it together soon. This used to be one of my favorite places to stay but now I am thinking about looking elsewhere.

I can honestly say it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The service was incomparable to any other place that my family or I have been. Definetly deserves a 5 star rating.

I would recommend this place for location, not only close to railways station, but also to road 59 : you can walk to Red Lobster or Chili's without much difficulties, allowing quick food after long plane travel.
Breakfasts are correct, complimentary food served several days of the week as well as a few drinks, as there is no regular restaurant offerings each and every day.
There is a small pond allowing walking or running around, as well as an inside pool with jacuzzi and a small gym, with very few people using it.
An outside small terrasse with bbq is fitted on the rear of the building, quite enjoyable as weather permit.
I have reserved the larger room, including a kitchen as well as a sofa, allowing for cooking or heating of food.response / report this review -

It is a really nice hotel and the added advantage is :
1.       It is walking distance from the train station which goes to Chicago downtown.
2.       It is right by a beautiful lake with a running track around it.
3.       It has a kitchen in the suite which would be really beneficial for people who prefer home cooked meals.
4.       They have evening socials on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and can even cook veg Indian meals when there a sizable no. of Indian guests staying at the hotel.
5. Â Â Â Flat rate limo service (At competitive rates to the airport taxi) for pickup and drop-off at the airport.response / report this review -

A Group of my friends and I stayed at this hotel to meet up with mutual friends around the area. This hotel was in a very good location. It's a nice quiet neighborhood, close to food, entertainment, and our friends. This was one beautiful hotel. Like with all places there were minor issues with room but it was nothing that didn't make us not want to come back. We hope to be back someday soon!
