Super nice hotel. Bar and gift shop (gift shop sells alcohol 24/7). Nice patio. Pools ok. Only thing I didn't like was that breakfast was $11, but you get a buffet style
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, well-lit, and spacious. The hotel was convenient to ask the places that I needed to visit.
The lobby was well designed, and the bar/restaurant was decent. Would definitely stay there again.
During my stay of April 4 thru 6, 2018, I was not happy in finding that the Fox News channel was not listed on the channel card in my room. I searched and finally found Fox News at channel 360; noting that ABC, NBC and CCN channels were found at the single digit channel numbers. Further I observed that on power up the TV auto-selects CNN and that CNN was selected on the TV in the common area of the restaurant.
Do I detect an agenda here? I hope not; as during my many stays at Hilton properties, Fox News is always listed as one of the news channels and frequently is the channel selected on the common area TVs. I will be working in the same area next week and will be staying elsewhere.
The staff was very nice. The hotel is undergoing renovations right now so not all rooms are updated. The room I was in had a number of stains on the carpet. There was also older decor in the room I was in. In my opinion it did not really have that Hilton feel. On the plus side there was a nice Courtyard area had a first floor walk out.
We stayed during renovations, and had one updated room and one suite that had not yet been updated. Both rooms were still very nice, and the staff was diligent on keeping us updated on water repairs and other updates. My only frustration was that parking was effected by construction and the large conference across the street. We left for lunch and couldn't get a parking spot at the hotel because of everyone else! I feel like there should have been car validation or some regulation of this. Regardless, I suggest you stay here once the update is fully completed, the updated rooms are very nice!!
Standard hgi experience, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, comfy beds
We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn! We were there for a wedding last night. It was an awesome venue and the staff couldn't have been nicer!
There was a really loud wedding party out in the courtyard until 2am. I called the front desk multiple times to ask that the party be moved inside but the staff was completely unhelpful and unresponsive. Don't stay here if you can help it.
Location was convenient, located off main street, near downtown Batavia and St. Charles. Lovely courtyard, 1st floor bedrooms had semi-private patios within courtyard. Pillows were the best I have used in a hotel. I didn't have the breakfast, but It looked better than most hotel breakfast/buffet.
First rate. 2 nights during mid-week. Courteous, helpful staff. Very clean common areas and a spotless room. Quiet. A real pleasant experience.
Terrible service. Terrible food. 24 hour convenience store practically empty. vending machines didn't work. Had to go get tp, Kleenex and towels at the front desk. They couldn't bring them up to my room. Sigh.
Great venue for a wedding reception. The food was actually great
They will take great care of your needs here. The hot tub was excellent and the pool was too the beds were nice and clean as was the rest of the room
Guy at front desk would greet me every time by my name. Courtyard side rooms have door to the outside which is nice- you have a little patio too with 2 chairs. This door is in addition to the normal hallway access to your room too.
Really nice room, great front desk with super nice people. Only reason I docked it down was there was no plug stopped for our bath in the room. It seems silly, but housekeeping should have checked in the first place and the front desk only had one person working from 10pm onward and could fulfill our request for one. We got it the next morning, however!
