Going under some renovations, but room was nice. Heater in room didn't work, was offered new room, we declined and was offered more blankets but they never came. Told management about the situation upon checkout and was given room discount. Staff was friendly and hotel was located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
Rooms where nice and clean. The hotel staff were nice and professional. The hotel also has a parking garage which is great in terms of security.
As of this writing, the Sheraton is in the midst of renovations. The upside is better rates at a great central location steps from the convention centre. The downside is some mess and very, very slow elevators.
Our room had a view of a wall, and that was finewe were barely in our room anyway. The beds are comfy and the room is pleasantly decorated. Bathrooms are nicely appointed. I would stay here again.
Hotel is currently under renovations, which is more than fine as we knew that when we booked. However, we stayed in a poorly planned newly renovated room. Shower and sink had two temperatures uncomfortably hot and scald your skin off. Only mirrors in room were horrifyingly lit and attached to the bathroom. No way to get ready elsewhere. With the extremely hot water, no bathroom fan and no additional mirrors it made for a nightmare getting ready in the morning. Also, the two working elevators were never available. Multiple trips up and down the staircase with bags. Temporary restaurant space, understaffed and poorly staged. Couldn't even get breakfast the second morning as they said tables needed to be cleaned even though the "dining" room was practically empty, due to lack of servers.
Stayed in a newly renovated room. It was a comfortably bed, but poorly executed. Close up mirror was hung too low, no mirror outside bathroom, cluttered with furniture (plugs in furniture didn't work) and dimly lit.
I very seldom give any hotel 5 stars because many have room for improvement. However, Sheraton Pasadena is deserving of perfect. I stayed the weekend here and they were so accommodating. I witnessed them going above and beyond for the person that checked in before me. Room service was great and this is all while they are under construction. Imagine if they were fully operable. Thanks Sheraton for making my experience a great one!
Very clean hotel, very friendly personell, good breakfast! It is not too pricy as well. They also gave me a rolling bed for free when it is 15$/day! They have their own free parking for people staying there. Overall good hotel, but I give 4 starts for location. I did not like the neighborhood very much.
Beautiful room with spacious balcony. The staff was very nice. Free shuttle to Parsons. I didn't get a chance to go to the bar but it looked like people were having fun in there. Comfy bed.
Location is great. Couple of restaurants within walking distance. It is right behind the Pasadena Conference Center which is where I needed to be. One and only issue was the air conditioning unit is awfully loud at night. Couldn't really get a great nights rest, since if it wasn't on, the room would get pretty hot. As for the service, I didn't need much, but the housekeeping staff seemed friendly enough. They greeted us with smiles, said hello and all that. I was on the second floor, which had access to the gym and pool, although I didn't use those facilities. Not sure if it's just Pasadena in general, but the town seemed a little empty so the hotel wasn't very packed. Overall, the stay was acceptable for just one night, but I don't think I would be able to stay here for much longer than that.
Was OK food and drinks decent not too overpriced room was nice but had an odd smell
Comfy rooms. Good location for access to Pasadena shopping and the adjacent conference and events centre. Very good breakfast buffet and friendly service. Hotel offers a small pool and fitness centre. Rooms are big and beds are very comfy!
Event room was well decorated, dinner tables, plates and settings were nicely set. The food was delicious, servers were very attentive.
Overall, it was a very typical stay of what you would expect from a Sheraton. The room was nice, beds comfortable and did enjoy sometime by the pool. The only downside to our stay was that the 3rd and 4th floors were under construction and after a morning of touring, coming back to the room to relax was impossible because of all the noise be made, so we had just decided to use the pool. But even at the pool you could here the construction. So to me it is 3 stars, definitely weren't expecting the construction, and notice was given when booking the room over the phone.
Just back from the Rose Bowl. Great location for the parade. Everyone we dealt with was perfect and very accommodating. We had club level and the breakfast was fine. We weren't around for the happy hour.
The hotel is a tad outdated but this snobby traveler was fine with it. It was very clean and the rooms were really big. Parking was $18 with in and out privileges. We ate at the bar one night and the food was fine. Cocktails were a tad high. ($20 for two shots of Bailey's. Seems a bit much).
If we had energy after the Rose Bowl game we wouldn't have eaten at the bar. Plenty of other options in the area.
Pasadena is one of my fave cities. It's darling and quaint and very clean.
I'd stay here again without hesitation.
