Started during a universal Hollywood two day trip, was close to universal. Friendly staff, very helpful. Amenities were good, microwave and fridge in room. Overall good, beds were a little stiff but nothing negative other than that.

Visited the bar on the first floor lobby of the hotel. There was a cover band playing all sorts of classics from the 80s and 90s, kind of dorky but fun and everyone was really into it. Bar is great, has two pool tables and plenty of seating. Bar staff is nice and fast.

Hotel is nice. Easy access to lots of food. The freeway is nearby. The staff is always friendly. But parking is extremely expensive especially since it used to be free. And members don't seem to get the same perks that they used to.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Conveniently located, super clean.the rooms were big and clean with great views of the city… and walking distance to a bazillion different restaurants in the area make this the go to place any time I’m in Burbank. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant staff is awesome as well. The food is pretty darn good for the breakfast buffet. I Definitely will be coming back to this place in the future

Nice hotel. Great location! Walking distance to great restaurants, shops, grocery stores and the mall is about 3 miles away. The beds are very comfortable, The pillows are perfect for sleeping and you can adjust the room temp to your desire. Front desk help was very kind and helpful. Parking in the garage, is plentiful but there is a cost $16 a day. Room quality it is a little dated but clean. I will definitely stay here again.

The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because we were not disclosed anywhere that it is an additional $16 parking fee per night. And I still don't understand why guests are charged for parking at your designated parking garage. Everything else of the hotel is amazing, modern, updated and clean.

Quiet and decent sized rooms. Very close to different places to enjoy great food of a verify of ethnicity. Also has it's own lounge if you wanna stay in. Or you can go up to the 18th floor and enjoy an over Burbank view from the skybar. The staff is very friendly and can give you advice on local things to do. Also has a shuttle that can get to the airport so you don't have to drive in traffic. There is also a pool, business center, gym, arcade, and lots of rooms for your special event.

I was greeted with a friendly, welcoming staff and then was made aware about the $16 parking per night. Being a business traveler I was not able to see the fees when this room was booked; most hotel parking is included. Walking the halls to my room prompted multiple smells, among them was fragrant smell of an old dusty pillow and then as I progressed down the hallway a type of burning electrical smell. The room for as nice as it is presented, is worn. The carpets feel dirty and the furniture in the room has dark stains on it. No direction was given to the amenities, not a map nor wall sign nor nudge in a general direction. I am severely disappointed for the $180 price on the room and will look elsewhere for future stays in the area. I would rather deal with LA traffic than stay here again. The WiFi is also completely unusable.

Staff was very pleasant. We were assigned a great room with a view on the 14th floor. When we first entered the room, it smelled of cigarette smoke so we immediately informed the desk. They sent housekeeping to spray the room. After about 15 minutes, housekeeping hadn't come up and we received a follow up call from the desk to ensure they had. Right after that phone call, the housekeeper was at the door - apparently she was on her way when the desk called us, which was no problem to us, but we were pleased the desk was attentive. The housekeeper quickly and efficiently sprayed the room. The concierge also accommodated is well by requesting the shuttle driver take us to the airport earlier than it normally runs.

Being a business traveler I am always looking for a good hotel. This one is hard to define as it could be great but it not. The location is fantastic,close to many major freeways, near Universal studios and not far from Hollywood. It is also two blocks from a mall and surrounded by every restaurant imaginable.
So what missing? The amenities. It would be nice if they had a concierge room for elite guess. Something with coffee in the morning and maybe a snack in the afternoon. Upgrade the rooms. I have stayed on many of the floors and all the rooms are the same no matter what you pay.response / report this review -

As expected holiday inn at Burbank was very nice clean and comfortable. The hotel was decently packed but charge for parking and breakfast was bit surprising. But overall it was as expected. Never disappointed with holiday inn.

The room was very clean upon arrival. There is a microwave and small refrigerator in my room, along with other standard options. The guest services of the hotel are top notch. Both bars in the hotel offer excellent service, be sure to check out The Crystal Lounge in Tower 2. Only downside is you do have to pay for parking, they charged me $16 per day. Close to lots of other dining and drinking options, all within walking distance.

The hotel was wonderful. My family of four stayed in a king (bed) suite with a sofa bed in the living room for the kids that was spacious, CLEAN, comfortable, quiet and met all of our needs. Room service and the food was impeccable! Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!!!

We went to the "Peoples Choice" restaurant for the Sunday breakfast buffet. The server was friendly and kept the coffee and orange juice flowing. The food was hot and fresh and the bacon was thick sliced and tasted great! The selection was good for the price. The only thing I could complain about is that when the restaurant was called "The Carousel", they used to have the best cinnamon roll french toast on the buffet! They should bring it back! Other than that the decor is fresh and appropriate for a hotel restaurant. If you are a local, it is worth checking out even if you aren't staying at the hotel!

Great hotel that always preserves a wonderful window view the last three times that we have been there. It is located just a mile from Universal Studios and In-and-Out which is ideally the places we pass by if we book two nights. The main lobby is vast and the employees are extremely helpful and generous—one employee asked if we wanted a bigger size room since we booked in advance, which was always welcome. The rooms are decently sized and sanitized and the beds were consistently kept clean ever time we were gone. The restaurants in the holiday inn had good food and a buffet section which was decently priced. Overall I'd recommend this hotel if you are looking to take a trip to big places like Universal Studios or the CN Building—its definitely the best hotel for its price.
