Room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Valet did not give me my ticket for my vehicle so it took longer to retrieve my vehicle once I was ready to leave. At check in, there were 6 lanes that could be checking in with employees standing at them, yet they were only operating one lane which had around 30 people standing in it. For the cost of the room I would not stay again even with the location of the hotel being very close to the event center I attended an event at.

I loved the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed the cafe. The link was a nice perk, being able to go shopping without going outside.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 5-10 times, but will never again. Here’s why:
- no bell service (how is this a 4-star?)
- 1 hour + wait for an extra set of sheets (after I called 3 times)
- breakfast that gave me food poisoning
- sheets and towels that smell of ammonia (I assume this is a result of buying the cheapest available detergent)
- spartan staffing
- I paid for club level, only to find it completely unattended. We are talking no clean tables, no food except for dry cereal, no coffee, and no spoons. At 9:30 on a Saturday morning.
This hotel has hit rock bottom. It is obvious that they are in cost-cutting mode, and I will never return. I advise you avoid the mistake of booking this hotel out of proximity to Crown Center and instead book a nearby hotel. Crown Center has ample public parking after all.response / report this review -

Friendly check in - albeit a bit slow. With the number of arriving guests, another front desk employee would have been great. The parking garage (independently operated) was not working when I went to park my car. My key card wouldn't get me in, and nobody could get out, so there was a line in both directions. Not the hotel's fault. The first keys I was given didn't work either. But this may have been my own fault (easy to demagnitize keywords) - front desk agent was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Just a few minor complaints but would absolutely recommend this hotel, or return in the future.

Nice hotel but amenities do not match price. Shower pressure lousy. Rooms rather stark. On line points system unresponsive. Overall a good but not very good experience. Suspect could do better nearby.

We stay for an annual business party. Conference rooms always roomy enough to host 250-500 guests with audio visual set up. Full bar and catering always wonderful. Guest rooms always clean, spacious and comfortable with great views of downtown KC. Hotel staff helpful to accommodate my broken foot by providing room closest to elevator.

Nice place to stay. Requested King sized room but got a double bed room. Overnight parking was kind expensive too. If not for these two things I would have given it 5 stars

We stayed here for the weekend of the Irish festival so we didn't have to deal with traffic and parking. The festival is at Crown Center and Washington Park. It was great. Upgraded to club level access for a roomer higher up with better view and access to the club level which had snacks and breakfast and amazing views. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. We took the train in, so it was only a short walk. I would stay here again.

Parking was surprisingly simple. I was at the Sheridan for a health expo in advance of a footrace and literally thousands of people needed to enter and exit the hotel. The parking was convenient, close to the exhibit center, and directions were well marked. The facility was large, and pleasant.

I was at the hotel for a table top gaming convention and it was my first time visiting the conference center. I found the hotel to be clean, up-to-date, and staffed by friendly individuals. The convention center was also clean, well lit, and easy to access. I can't speak to the details of the rooms but, based on my recent experience here, I wouldn't hesitate to reached like recommend this hotel to anyone seeking lodging or event space in Kansas City.

Dropped someone off there. Had to run inside and the hotel was super clean and nice. The valet took my keys while doing so and they were super friendly

It's gorgeous! There is so much space to be productive. More outlets than I expected. It was great going from the exhibit room and then getting room to organize everything before going back in. Also the restaurant in the hotel had great food and the prices weren't bad at all.

The bartenders were quick and friendly. The salad was amazing. Fast quick plated catering service. The chicken was tasty. Overall it was a great dinner. Good strong drinks.
