Arrived went to room. It was fine, nothing special. At midnight they started working on the sink in the room next to ours. They ran an impact driver drilling for at least an hour. Then get up in the AM to take a shower and there was no hot water. I mean, not a drop. Cold!!! So ticked. They said, since you booked with Expedia, there is nothing we can do for you.

Unreal! Terrible hotel and service and we paid as much as a first rate hotel. Total rip off.

We paid nearly $300 to stay 1 night at this hotel and were extremely disappointed. We had no hot water in the morning to take a shower and the only comment from the front desk was that there were a lot of people taking showers and we should let the water run for 10 minutes to see if we could pull hot water up to our floor. Our stay was to include a hot breakfast in the morning. When we went to the restaurant at 9:00 a.m. the server said that it was going to take a very long time to get breakfast if we wanted to order off the menu because there is only 1 cook and he is trying to get the buffet set up. They have a sign that states breakfast is served from 6:30 - 10:00, however at 9:00 the buffet still was not set up and we were persuaded not to order off the menu because it would take too long. The waitress said that there was a Dennys across the street that might be quicker. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Stopped there on a business trip very nice first time around, when I was on my return trip. The bar was closed which I felt was unusual for a hotel of this caliber! So I went into the restaurant to get dinner and a glass of wine. Was informed I could not have wine as bar was closed! This was at 8.30 in the evening. So I ended up not eating at all!
Rooms are great front desk staff very nice.

Broken glass on the back parking lot never got cleaned up. Front desk Clerks were all nice. Indoor pool cold. Hot tub gross then broken. Housekeeping gave us towels but commented that they were scarce so we were lucky. Our room was nice, clean, smelled nice. Comfy beds and arm chair. Wish the full length mirror had better lighting.

This is a great, inexpensive getaway if you have younger kids. The hotel and water park are old and a bit run down. Our room had dirty sheets on one of the bed, but the staff changed it within 10 minutes. The carpet was dirty, things were dusty, the bathroom was dark. There is a arcade, but the games are lame and several were broken. The hot tub in the pool area was out of service. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

You simply need to know, you get what you pay for. This is a cheap hotel, so it's a bit rough, but we had a good time with it and got a great deal.

'Wonderful experience, great staff! Great service! The kids had a blast at the water park! The location is perfect, not far from the Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium. They have everything in one area, very convenient. I will definitely highly recommend it to anyone going to Kansas City!

A group of us were in for a girl's weekend. The front desk kept us together on one floor. They were so helpful. Rooms were very nice, not the newest but overall clean and comfy. Bar was busy with a game going at the stadium. We played a round of pool which was I haven't played in years. We had a blast! We took a short Uber ride downtown to Power and Light. What a great weekend. Thank you!

Stayed there with our grandson for his birthday. The pros: The water park was great entertainment for all. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Cons: The elevators were very slow. Room carpet was dirty but the worst was no hot water to take a shower. For $240 per night, I would expect more.

It was easy to find, right off the highway. We were there for a church event, and the room was large enough for everyone to fit comfortably. It stayed fairly cool even though it hit 90 outside. The staff provided ice water to drink and kept it stocked. It didn't taste like chlorine, either, which was nice, since we've had experiences at other hotels where it tasted like pool water. Thanks Adam's Mark, for taking such good care of LCG!

We were in Kansas City for the eclipse so the hotel was pretty crowded. We found decent parking and walked right into a clean and well lit lobby. The wait for assistance wasn't long despite having several people in front of us. The two women operating the desk were polite and pleasant. We paid for our room online so there wasn't any hassle with the check-in. The elevators and hallway of the hotel we're clean and organized. It seemed like effort had been put into the appearance which is good as I was expecting the worse. We opened our door to a nicely made up room with freshly fluffed pillows and tons of sunlight. I did a cleanliness check off the room and was pleasantly surprised to find zero issues. There was a broken blind hanging in the middle window but all in all the room was great. Considering what we paid during a very busy time I'm happy with the hotel and experience. I'd come back for a visit.

We checked in to our 1st room, no air conditioning. The maintenance guys worked on our room and the 2 adjoining rooms. Great guys, doing what the could. Fixed 2 rooms, but moved us. Next morning it was cold showers, both at 7:45 & at 9:45. Contacted the front desk, and they said there was no hot water anywhere, followed by "sorry". It appears that the staff are doing as well as they can with what they have to work with. Management needs to step it up, be on the front lines and be accountable for the conditions of this place. I'm sure if they had to be at the counter for 1 day, things might get fixed, or they would at least try to be proactive, and not leave their staff apologizing for things that are out of their control.

I see a response was sent, seems to mimic the same response you provided everyone else with problems. We do not plan on returning, and when friends ask us about our weekend, we share ALL the details, as I'm sure everyone else does as well.

The outside of the hotel is really ugly. It looks pretty run-down. Checking in the gentleman at the desk wasn't very friendly. He didn't smile and I could barely hear him talking. It seemed like he did not want to be there. We stayed for two nights and the inside looked nice but it didn't seem very clean, especially in the hallways and elevators. The room itself was ok. The coffee was good but the showers didn't seem to get warm in the morning. The hotel was very busy the two nights we were there which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep because it was fairly noisy. I doubt I'll ever stay at this hotel again.

We decided on an impromptu trip just for fun, Mother's Day, and our marriage anniversary.
Check in was quick, and the information was specific and thorough. The room was clean and set up well, and the air conditioning was working (though we had to ask Siri for Celsius conversion). First thing I did was check the bed for bugs, and we were clear on that front (the sheets were threadbare and beaded though).
Coco Keys was OK. Water seemed a little dirty and the lazy river was anything but (many people were free swimming and jostling others around; something which was blatantly stated in the rules NOT to do, but the lifeguards weren't too keen on enforcing that). The kids enjoyed it, so no major complaints there.
It was about 7:30 when we finished up at the pool, so we decided to order some BBQ from Moore & Moore restaurant downstairs. 2 grilled cheese kids meals, a burnt end sandwich, and a cheeseburger, plus a side of baked beans and cheesy corn. I called in the order at 8:23 pm and they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I waited the appropriate time then headed down to pick up the food. The following experience is where the majority of my complaints come in:
    1. There were maybe 10 people in the whole restaurant (all of which had finished their food!), with 3 servers complaining about how busy it was (the waitresses were nice, but complaining to anyone who would listen). I was a server for many years when I was younger, and it was absolutely ridiculous.
    2. I overheard them talking about my food, which had been plated up instead of made a TO-GO order as requested.
    3. At this point, it's about 8:50 pm and I hear them say that the cheeseburger wasn't even on the order. They offered me a complimentary soda for waiting, which was kind.
    4. OK, this is where the craziness happens There was a lady sitting in the restaurant, nursing a drink. After 20 minutes of waiting on my food (plus the 15 minutes I waited in coming down from my room, she approached me and told me that the waitresses were nice, just busy. Then she asked me my name and what I was doing at the hotel. I said for a weekend getaway and she responded "Oh, because you have a rich husband right?". I said no, just getting away, to which she gave me a smirk and dirty look. Then she asked me my age. I told her, though I didn't want to because that's plain rude. She proceeds with "Come on, lets go get a drink at the bar". I said no thanks, I don't drink. She scoffed at me and said "Well that sounds miserable, why not?". I answered that I'm in recovery from alcohol, to which I get another snotty look and the reply "Oh, you're on of THOSE people. You went to rehab.". I said yes, actually I did. She laughed while leaning in closer to my face and said "Yeah, I went to rehab, but it's a joke. I'm better than that". At this point I turned around, deciding to ignore her. She raised her voice and said "HEY, I'm still talking to you!". Thankfully, she was then distracted by someone else and walked into the bar. A few minutes later she came back in frazzled, cussing and saying that she'd lost her wallet, which apparently she found at the bar a moment later (but she's too good for rehab). The waitresses were making comments about how she's always losing her phone or wallet, so she's obviously a regular there.
    5. I was then informed that they were out of cheesy corn. So frustrated, I asked if they would just plate up what they have, it is 9 pm and I have tired, hungry kids waiting upstairs. I got my food at 9:05 pm and they threw in a piece of cake for my inconvenience. Get back upstairs and one of my children had already fallen asleep, while the other ate a cold, congealed grilled cheese. The food was sub par, and I will never recommend it.
I know these are first world problems, but for over $350 (including food) the whole thing was a JOKE!
This hotel and restaurant need serious job training, new management, and should remove the drunk, condescending, rude lady from the restaurant, who obviously frequents it.
We will never, EVER, go back.

My organization stayed at this hotel for a conference. There was no hot water for showers. The food provided by the hotel (which we payed $25-30 for each meal) was never on time, it was cold, and they ran out before everyone had eaten (we sent out head count months before). The people that did get food said it was not very good. The workers were not quick to set up and seemed understaffed and either did not know answers to our questions or did not care. The restrooms over flowed in the bathroom outside the meeting rooms. The rooms were not big enough to accommodate our group. There was no good place to take pictures. Overall horrible experience.

I'm usually not very critical in reviews but this was probably the worst hotel experience I have had. We were checked into a room where maintenance was clearly being done (a large garbage can with water had been left in the doorway) and the heat did not work. We were told by the front desk to wait for "maintenance" to fix it. After 2 1/2 hours we called again and were told to keep waiting. We demanded another room and the heat in that room stopped working in the middle of the night. Could not keep the room above 65 degrees. Looking at past reviews this has been a problem for months. I mentioned this to the front desk. There was no compensation or even apology for our inconvenience. Seems like this happens often. No hot water in either room, the hot tub was broken, the pool 50 degrees and according to the desk attendant is never heated. The spring mattresses are ancient, and front desk staff not at all helpful. We were put on hold for simple questions like "during what hours is room service available" and for all the other calls we made about room problems. Some staff speak broken English. Surprisingly poor experience with apparently chronic management problems at this hotel. I'm not sure how they stay in business.
