Seems to be ok. The rooms are nice. The pool is pretty nice, and I love the short distance to the beach!

It's an interesting experience, like going to a hotel 70 years ago. The people, the kind of service and facilities are old style. If you want a taste of traditional luxury is very nice. Beach and pool service is good.

This is a classic hotel in bal harbour. If you're looking for over the top expense and a scene this is not it. If you're looking for a great beach and pool with nice rooms and an old school feel this is it. Highly recommend

If one were to heed the bad reviews one reads online, you'd probably never book this hotel. I am glad we didn't and I trusted my gut. I didn't regret it. Our flight was delayed so we landed pretty late and didn't get to the hotel till way past 12am. Tony was the staff on duty and he was super helpful. He gave us tips and when we said we were hungry, he gave us numbers to call for delivery. The room itself was beyond what we expected. It was a delight to walk in from the Miami heat into a chilled room bigger than our master bedroom at home (and that's big!) We had a cooking area and the view was nice too. We got what we paid for and more. King-size bed, fantastic TV selection and the breakfast the next day was just as wonderful. Tasha the amazing food and beverage manager runs an excellent team and she's super nice too. I loved sea view hotel and I do not regret staying there. Would definitely stay again. They have secured for themselves a repeat customer.

Beautiful, quiet beach. Room was spacious and clean. Everyone was friendly and courteous. There are many dining options within walking distance. Nice area for a quiet getaway.

The staff was awesome! Thank you so much for meeting my needs by allowing me to check in early for the wedding. They were so kind and friendly. My only complaint is that they don't have cooked meats for breakfast but the pancakes were fluffy and tasty. Overall, I'd definitely be back on my next visit. 20.00 per day parking vs. 50.00 at most places on the strip. Thanks again. #BoPeteBurger

Art deco hidden treasure in Bal Harbour!! Very big and comfortable rooms with TWO walking closets. Very friendly staff. Beautiful beach and excellent pool and beach services

This hotel was great! Decently priced and AMAZING view. We had a room facing the water with a balcony. Gorgeous view to wake up to in the morning and sit outside and see this! Staff was so kind. (We were celebrating our anniversary and since they had a room open we were upgraded to the balcony room over looking the pool and the beach.) Very private, although there was a balcony next to ours we never saw anyone on it in the 4 days we were there. Older hotel but very vintage and cool looking, not decrepit or anything. Pleasantly surprised, as we booked this only based on reviews and location (flew in from Long Island NY). Pool was clean and large and over looking the beach. They provided and set up chairs, towels and umbrellas for us at no extra cost. Everyone was super nice. We will be back for sure! Wish we could go back now!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in a 1 king bed room from 29-Dec-16 through 1-Jan-17. I would not stay here again, and overall I would not recommend this hotel.
Pro: The room size was nice, with a comfortable bed and two large walk in closets to unpack. The fitness center was very well equipped. The front lobby was beautiful and the hotel has an old style charm.
Cons: The front desk and other hotel staff were cold and distant. The staff made us feel as if we did not belong, especially because we were not part of the "regular" hotel guests. They were repeatedly unhelpful and borderline rude when responding to questions. We were repeatedly questioned whether we were actually guests at this hotel.response / report this review
