  I had a wonderful experience here. This hotel is decorated with beautiful still art that makes you stop and think a moment.
  
  The staff was friendly and courteous, making me feel very pampered. There's a beautiful pool, with decorative fountains that drown out, or at least pleasantly distract from the nearby traffic. My room had windows in two directions, one with a view of the city skyline, the other facing the cruise port, allowing me to wake up to the sight of my cruise ship nearby.
  
  Even though it was a busy time, and the cruise ships were coming in and out, the hotel public areas didn't feel crowded or stuffy.
  
  As far as cleanliness, it was above my expectations. The sheets were so clean, fresh, and new that it made you want to just wrap yourself up in them sans pajamas.
  
  I highly recommend this hotel, despite the hefty price tag.

  Within walking distance of several restaurants, but you'll need to take the trolley to the beach. This hotel has a resort feel. Had really good space for our conference.

  Recently remodeled, very nice. Great breakfast included in my stay to then cruise. Great cruise port hotel. Transportation isn't included but isn't expensive.

  Hotel staff was amazing, we stayed durring a hurricane as part of a first response team. Hotel was clean Rooms were clean and roomy, plenty of space and amenities Overall location is great. Not far from the port and plenty of places to eat etc.

  I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and I only stayed one night prior to boarding a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale. I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer serviceI called the front desk (Jamie) with a complaint about the shower not draining properly, and they said they would send someone up to address the issue. Instead they sent a security guard (Tara) up with a plunger to give to me so I can fix their issue! When I spoke to Jamie again about the issue and how rudely the security guard handled the situation, he in turn was very short with me over the phone and did not speak with me as if I was a guest in the hotel. Even after my cruise I have yet to even get an email from the manager to apologize for the situation. I'm so disappointed in this Renaissance.it will be a while befor I even consider Marriott again.

  If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I totally would! The lobby has been beautifully renovated. The pool is private and inviting. The new food menu is delightful and offers options for everyone. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, charmimg, clean, and spacious. The hotel staff is super friendly and professional. So fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

  If Florida Super Con is coming back to The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in 2018, for sure I will book a room again at the Renaissance. I had a pleasant and restful experience at the hotel, the staff were friendly and professional. Walking all day in the convention center and around the area, its comforting to know a clean bed is made and the bathroom is pristine when I return to my hotel room to recharge. In addition the gym has foam rollers which were very useful to massage my sore back muscles after carrying Super Con merchandise in my backpack all day. This hotel is 5 minutes walking distance away from the convention center although there is an alternative route to avoid the busy intersection. Next time I will book an extra day just to fully utilize the hotel.

  Hotel wasn't bad at all when I first walked in. It was very nice and I was looking forward to staying there. The man at the reception was very nice although I forgot his name. When we got to the room, the sheet wasn't fully over the mattress and you couldn't even pull it over the mattress all the way, but that didn't really bother me. What bothered me was that housekeeping was banging on doors screaming and slamming doors at 8 am. I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. They were also rude to me when I asked them to quiet down and they were very obnoxious. The room and the rest of the hotel was great though.

  I chose this hotel because it had a jacuzzi. It turned out to exceed my expectations in every way and I hope to become a regular customer when in town.
  
  The room was quiet, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. Both the pool and jacuzzi were clean and well kept. The jacuzzi was hot although the jets were not strong it was still relaxing for me.
  
  Hotel Parking was an extra $25 but it seems like I could have easily parked in adjacent shopping mall parking lot for free?
  
  Very welcoming staff. Good job management!

  Clean and.convenient. Staff was very helpful. We stayed before boarding a cruise and they have a shuttle service that stops there to take you to the ships. Lots of good restaurants close by as well.

  Outstanding hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, plenty of places to eat around the hotel as well as a couple places in the hotel. The rooms were impeccable. Clean, comfortable and included a fridge a desk and a couch. Overall highly recommend this hotel, even though it can be a bit pricey.

  This hotel needs to learn a simple customer satisfaction rule. under promise and over deliverthey told us 2 hours ago that housekeeping was in our room, this room better be unbelievably clean.
  Plus we have been in the lobby for 2 hours and the water with lemon and ice has been empty. It's great watching people trying to get water out of it.
