Booked as part of our cruise package by TA.
Very good service by polite staff at check in, bar staff and cafe staff just as good.
Even security staff spotted us looking to find facility and politely advised and showed us to required service.
Food at bars centrally prepared so not over hot when served but acceptable.
Agree it is an older hotel and some areas could do with upgrade but very clean overall and good value to money.
Would certainly consider staying here again in the future.
Great views front and back of the hotel. Great location to the cruise port. The bar staff was fantastic, both the outside bar as well as the inside bar for happy hour. Thank you all for the fun and friendly service. See you in a week for two more days.
Sorry this review is actually for the W
We went to Steal 954. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Aldo our waiter was superb. So good we are going back for Christmas day lunch. Thanks Aldo
Probably the worst hotel stay ever. So many things were bad and most of them are highlighted in other reviews. No sense repeating them as some of the other guests have highlighted many of them.
Parking is absolutely horrendous be prepared for a wait. Plus you get to pay $27.00 to park yourself and have a long wait on getting into park.
The staff member that greeted us was obnoxious arrogant. Bed sheet don't fit the bed. The breakfast room does not open till after 7am
Second time booking here. Not much improvement from our stay in 2015. On time room check in needs a lot of improvement. Again, We we told rooms would be available (soon) it's now 3.5 hours later & still no room! We are traveling with a group of 8. Reserved rooms 1 year (and corresponded throughout the year) in advance and asked to be on same floor & together. That did not happen as discussed either. Thankfully it did not rain so we were able hang by the pool. Probably will not book here again.
I stayed at your hotel this wekeend, and my stay was fabulous. the room was clean and the view of the marina was spectacular. I want to thank the people who had in communication with me from the beginning, until my check out day. These persons was very helpful, also for an item i left in the room and those people were all they could to help me. These persons are Tatiana, Ruth, Lucia and Melanie. Awesome workers. Thank you all, i will definitely stay at this hotel in the future. Again : Tatiana, Ruth, Lucia and Melanie. Thank you. You are awesome , you guys Rock.
This hotel was a disaster from the time I checked in! Upon arrival and check in I was placed on the third floor of the marina view building and the attendant told me that there was "minor work" being done on the third floor and that I would need to go around it to get to my room. To get to the end of the hall which the construction was not being conducted you had to walk through an active construction zone where workers were drilling hammering etc. Once to the half of the hall where I was staying there was NO carpet in the halls, it had all been pulled up!
Once in the room it had a horrible smell, the room had been painted and there were huge paint splatters all of the furniture and mirrors, and the bathroom fixtures all had rust on them.
The last day of my stay apparently the construction had moved to the half of the hall I was on and I was woken up by drilling and hammering OUTSIDE my door! They were putting down the carpet directly in front of my room!
Do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! I was here on business and did not personally pay for my stay but if I had I would be demanding a refund! I have never stayed in a hotel such a joke!!
I recently stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina last week and what was supposed to be one night stay turned into almost a week. An emergency forced me to extend my stay. As unfortunate as the situation was, I want to commend the Hilton staff. From the time I checked in I felt welcomed. The entire staff from the supervisor to concierge to the valet staff went out of their way to help in any way possible. I especially want to point out Ms.Lucia and Front Office Supervisor, Mr.Sharado Morrison. Ms.Lucia’s kindness and friendly service put an unexpected smile on my face. Mr.Morrison literally helped me from the time I booked the room until the time I checked out. I can’t remember the last time I received customer service this great and it was certainly at a time when I needed it the most. Although I was experiencing other problems elsewhere, I certainly didn’t experience any with my stay at the Hilton. The room, food, view, service, and location exceeded my expectations. I am so happy to have found this gem of a hotel and will certainly be back sooner than later. I hope this review gets to the right person to recognize Mr.Morrison for the accolades he deserves.
Lovely hotel in a great location close the a water taxi stop and minutes away from the cruise ship docks. Tower room had a fantastic view. The G Bar and Grill, located within view of the marina, had great food and service. Hotel shuttle brought us right to our Cruise ship for a $6 fee. Easy walk to a lot of shopping. Will stay here again.
Great location. Very nice staff. Very good room service food. The desk people at check-in / check-out are very nice, but need more training. When I checked in, the gentleman put me in a room with a king bed, but when I open the door somebody else is already in the room. The second room he gave me the door key didn't work. Also in the main building, none of the elevators were working, so we had to take the employee elevators up, but you had to take stairs to get down. Gentleman at check out did not give me any sort of receipt for my stay and when I asked about parking and getting out of the gate he said just drive up to the gate and it would open. It did not and I had to get out of my car and walk back up to the hotel and get help. Room was okay but not well lit and shower fixture was broken.
Stayed for a business trip. As I'm not paying for the hotel, my standards for this rating may be a bit low. The rooms are pretty nice but the beds are kind of old and squishy. There was a couple mosquitoes in my room. On the flip side, the pool bar is nice and the people working here are very helpful.
Nice, clean hotel. A bit dated, but updates have been made. New tech now used for rooms, which is nice. Restaurant is good with Asian focus, but not limited to it. South-facing side of hotel does not have good views. Decent facilities, but no free shuttle to airport. However, there is a free shuttle to the beach that runs every 2 hours.
I stayed here for a conference that was being held at the convention center across the street. The location was convenient, close to the airport, a quick ride to the beach. I stayed in the East Villas which were rooms separated from the main hotel. Maybe the rooms in the hotel tower were nicer but I found the rooms in the East Villas small. We had three people staying in our room and were constantly bumping into each other. There was also a lamp next to the beds with no discernible light switch and no one at the hotel could tell me how to turn it on/off. I ended up unplugging it. The service overall was mediocre. The maid service barely cleaned the bathroom (they didn't even wipe down the sink) and when they left we found goldfish crackers on the floor of our room but no one in my group had any goldfish crackers with them. I rate the hotel adequate but have definitely stayed at nicer places that far exceeded this one in service.
This is my second time here. The first was awesome. Mind you, that was 3 years ago. There has not been any investment in this place. I want begin to state all of my issues, but investment wiuld be good.
On the other side of the coin. Julian was awesome. I don't know where they found this guy, but customer satisfaction is top of his list.
Also, the lobby and pool areas are very nice.
Rooms are poorly maintained. Green algae growing in a puddle on balcony. Toilet paper roll falls off wall each time its used. Housekeeping goes through your belongings nearly every day. Security and management denied any claims, even after I started taking pictures of my stuff before leaving the room for proof. No Hilton Honors perks. $4 for a regular cup of coffee. Worst Hilton experience ever. Management doesn't seem to care to take care of the longer staying customer. I will be requesting that this hotel to be removed from my company's "preferred " list.
