Nice rooms with good prices but no DVD player

The room was comfortable. The lobby had been renovated and they are in the process of remodeling. This will be very nice when completed. The breakfast was ok, but it would be nice to have a low carb option.

We paid 99 for the night to stay here. When we told the lady at the front desk and showed her these pictures of how dirty our room was she played it off to the remodel. No, this is dirty!!! My boys woke up having trouble breathing since they have dust allergies. We came here for the pool and were told the health department shut them down because their chemicals were off. My son cried himself to sleep. I felt trapped here, not a guest at all!! The next morning I said we have to leave and they only offered us 10.00 off our bill. I will NEVER come back here!

This is written while the hotel is under significant construction. It appears that this was just turned into a Rodeway and they're remodeling. Our stay has been fine. No major issues to speak of. The room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke and it looked like someone used the balcony to smoke and it filtered in. The room and hallway is dingy in that old kind of way but the bed is clean and comfortable. The top blanket had multiple cigarette burns on it. Shower area was ok, but mildew in the grout lines. The reception and breakfast area appears new and is quite nice. Breakfast is typical continental, but nothing struck me as off. Maybe we had quiet neighbors, but I never heard anything from the other people in other rooms or the hallway. Overall, I think a 3 is a bit harsh, but a 4 would have been too generous. The hotel seems to suffer from being old. They seem to be working through the hotel and if they redo the rooms as well as the front lobby, I think it will be quite nice.

Bring your own cleaning supplies. Arrived to find fecal matter on toilet and wall beside it and a.c. would not work. Called front desk and moved us to another room. Checked toilet in second room with same result. More fecal matter. I ended up cleaning the toilet myself with soap from shower and a wash cloth from the hotel. I used express deal on priceline, so I didn't choose this place. I've never had this bad of luck with express deals..

Hotel was pretty nice.. only problem was they are remodeling. So there was no breakfast and front desk people were kinda rude and slow. It took us 15 minutes to check in. I'm sure once they finish remolding it will be very nice. But until then. it's ok but not amazing.
