Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great location. A very quaint little hotel with a feeling of a bygone era. Located on the intersection of two busy and noisy streets, but keep the air conditioner on for white noise.

Nice room but the noise level from outside was overwhelming. The hotel is at a major intersection with city buses coming and going from 5am until midnight. Never again.

Loves this hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 weeks ago for his 21st birthday. The staff was so nice, the room was amazing, although the bathroom was a little small it was still beautiful. The bathroom had a walk in shower, in the shower it had 3 dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. What we really loved was, how in every room they have a journal for the guests to write how their stay was for others to read. Also they had breakfast at 11, then at 3 they set out snickerdoodle cookies and lemonade, and at around 6 or 7 they set out red and white wine. We definitely will be back hopefully soon.

Very magical place. The room was amazing! I felt like I was in another world. The riverwalk is just steps away. The staff was very friendly snd helpful. The 5 o'clock wine was yummy. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

Perfect romantic getaway spot. Ideal location, check in was friendly and welcoming, and I felt like a real guest. Room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. The was the best find we have had in a long time, and if we stay in San Antonio again, we will definitely be back here! I highly recommend!

My husband surprised me with this place on our honeymoon and both the staff and the place blew us both away. Neither of us had been to San Antonio before and they made navigating it a cinch. Also, words cannot convey how grateful we are of how they arranged everything before and during our stay. They truly took care of everything. It's one of San Antonio's great hideaways in the heart of it all.

I enjoyed the amenities and it probably has the best shower in any hotel I've been in.

Cookies in the afternoon and wine in the evening? Absolutely YES! I do feel the first floor however has a strong soap smell which attacked my nostrils upon entering

Hi my name is Joey and my wife's name is Jeanie.We had our vacation scheduled for us to leave the day the hurricane hit Florida in October 2016 where we live.Also my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer the week before.So i called the River walk Vista Inn and talked to our host Raymond.This young man was very very professional and very courteous to us and went above and beyond to help us to reschedule for the next flight out.He made sure our vacation was a great success.We met great people and we enjoyed the river walk.Raymond went out of his way to make sure we had great direction and information to where we wanted to go.This vacation was a great memory that we will never forget.Thank you so much Raymond you and your staff were fantastic.
