Very nice hotel. Our room was perfect! The view was amazing! Breakfast buffet worth every penny. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again. Love, love it!

The rooms are a bit small. And the hotel is a historic building, so the amenities are not modern. But the service was impeccable. Especially the Bellman. They were very helpful as we were taking a number of large items up and down from our hotel room for a wedding that we were attending.

Rooms are a bit dated but hold a certain charm with their Spanish style decor. The rooms are clean and well kept, with very little signs of age, and no bad or musty odors like other hotels next to the water. Check in experience is smooth and effortless if you are an Omni select guest, valet service is on point, and bell boys are polite and helpful. Rooms with views of the Riverwalk offer great people watching and a great ambiance. Restaurant serves a top notch steak. With a minimal update, this hotel can earn 5 stars!

In a nutshell, room 29. This room made our entire experience magical. I probably should have kept that in the bag but sharing is caring. The old world Spanish decor is breathtaking and the customer service is wonderful. Before checking in I was able to sample some of their complementary coconut drink which was amazing and far more interesting than cucumber/lemon water. The pool area was beautifully decorated and private since it is enclosed on all four sides by the hotel itself. The hotel is further away from the mall area which is where I like to be closest to because of our Girls, the environment more than makes up for that. The room was slightly smaller than what I had expected but that could be because it was a king bed room. I also had requested a roll away bed by phone and was pleased to find it in our room upon arrival. Customer service is key for me and this hotel does not disappoint.response / report this review -

It was like being in a movie.
We drove up the Doorman greeted us with a warm"Welcome to San Antonio".
He unloaded our luggage for us and arranged to have it sent to the room. They valet parked our car.
The lady at the front desk was so nice, her name was Jaquelin.
The room was beautiful with a view of the river walk.
We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it was amazing!

100% would recommend and will return. Service was phenomenal! Staff was excellent! Hands down the best hotel stay of my life. I've traveled the world in the military and stayed at hotels everywhere nothing comes close to this palace. I really wish I was getting paid for this, trust me I am not.

Great hotel, had a room overlooking the courtyard with a common walkway. Was expecting a bit of noise from other guests as they passed by talking, but it wasn't bad at all. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient access to the Riverwalk!! Parking is rather expensive if you valetabout $40/night! Valet parking allows you to come and go as you wish without any additional charges. You can also choose to park across the street for $10/day, but you pay each time you leave the garage. The breakfast is very nice and is buffet style, but like the parking, it too is a bit pricey at $23/person. All in all, a great hotel in a desirable locationwasn't our first stay and won't be the last I'm sure!

Nice appointed and clean rooms. The pool (only 4ft at it's deepest) is a nice addition. The staff were very attentive and the overall cleanliness of the hotel common areas is second to none. The meeting rooms were spacious and comfortable and the snacks and drinks provided exceeded my expectations. If I had to stay here on my own dime, I wouldn't hate it.

Quite possibly the best hotel we have ever stated in while in San Antonio! The hotel is situated right next to the riverwalk and is walking distance from all of the popular restaurants and bars. We were greeted at the lobby with such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room had a view of the pool, which gave us a wonderful experience of the mariachi band playing while everyone cooled off at the pool. Definitely staying here again for next vacation!

We had a great event. However, AC wasn't cold enough for all the people at event. Elevator wait was to long. Stairs don't go all the way up either if you decided to walk?

The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing and the staff was very courteous. That said, the hotel is not as guest friendly as I would hope for at this price point. The desk in the room I am staying in is not very ergonomic, and the parking situation is less than ideal. The hotel does have a garage, but it's only for the $40 per night valet parking. Otherwise your paying $10 every time you go in/out across the street. It also really bothers me when I pay more than $100 to stay in a room and there is no easily acxessible outlet next to the bed. There's also no on site laundry but you can wait a day for someone else to do it at $7 per tee shirt. The fitness center is off site but it's gorgeous. Overall a nice, and aesthetically pleasing hotel but not the best value for money to be had on the river walk I'm sure.

We loved the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. My mother-in-law realized she left a ring of sentimental value in our room two hours after our check-out.
