Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast, dinner and drinks is very nice. But parking totally sucks. Spaces are limited and very small. Once you get parked you don't have room to get out. And you can't go anywhere after 5 pm, or you won't have a space when you get back. Lots of places to walk to, but we like to dine in different places at night and don't feel comfortable walking the streets with homeless people laying everywhere. Fix the parking and I'd give it 5 stars.
This isn't the newest place on the Riverwalk but we enjoy it. Decent location and rooms. What really shines is the features in the lobby. The free snacks in the evening and free fountain drinks during the day. That's before the best part.5:30 kickback! For each night you get a card worth 3 mixed drinks free each evening. They aren't very strong but if you just get the shots and utilize the free fountain drinkswell it's a nice bonus.
Great rooms overlooking the Riverwalk. The lower level opens out to the Riverwalk. Breakfast is served hot ever morning. They have a Happy hour meal that is very filling. The staff are friendly and housekeeping staff are good. Overall a great place to stay in San Antonio.
What a nice hotel. Loved the hotel pool but unfortunately didn't swim in it too much my company on my stay sucked those nights. On the other hand, it has Riverwalk access and it's totally safe no one can get it unless they have a hotel card. Have children this place offers a free daily buffet so you can save some money there.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Positives: attractive, spacious room. Not only a free breakfast, but also a free "kickback" 5:30 to 7:00 sumptuous enough for dinner for me. Right on the river walk. Negatives: cannot get out of rain to unload your luggage. (The awning only covers the left side of the drive, needed for those exciting the posting deck; you are instructed to park on that right while checking in -- in the rain.) No in-room safe.
This hotel is very clean and comfortable! They have free breakfast and dinner and three free cocktails daily for happy hours. But best of all is the customer service. The staff are friendly, helpful and go beyond what you normally see at a big hotel.
Rooms very nice. Bed was wonderful. Staff was incredible, and the "extras" were Great! Get a room with a balcony, loved sitting out there in the evenings!

Great hotel with great location and good parking prices. They had both free breakfast and dinner which was unusual but amazing. Also a fountain drink machine available which was very convenient. They even gave us three free alcoholic drinks per night of stay.
Beautiful hotel. Tall ceilings, roof top pool. Our soap dispenser for shampoo gave us a little problem but I have patience so all in all it was a wonderful getaway. They have limited parking but the hotel is right off the boardwalk. Plenty of fun within walking distance. It made me feel very secure to know for re-entry to the hotel from the boardwalk required a room key.
We were really impressed with this hotel. Location was great! Room was nice, clean and roomy. Hotel was well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was hot , tasty and fresh, all you eat. Their evening food was the same. You could get full on those 2 meals alone which saves on money. The only downfall was the parking and the fan in our bathroom didn't work. We have a truck and it was hard to find a spot that we could fit in. We will definitely come back next time we come to San Antonio.
We recently stayed here for my son's Air Force graduation. EXCELLENT customer service and the location was perfect on the Riverwalk. My son even left his $50 power pack and the front desk shipped it UPS to us. I will definitely stay here again during our next visit to San Antonio.
Stayed here on 2 different occasions. Every staff member and employee here is above and beyond nice and helpful. But I found quite a few maintenance issues. exhaust fans in bathrooms not working. Had to wash my hair in the bathroom sink because the water could not be properly adjusted in the shower. Either scalding hot or ice cold. The carpeting in the rooms was dingy dirty.TV is limited to local cable , no HBO or movie channels that I could find ."There are no charging ports in the rooms for phones or laptops". Rooms got stuffy because they have sealed all the windows shut. A nice breeze would help with fresh air. Refrigerator had to be replaced on one trip . Door locks failed on both trips .I guess they compensate by giving you a free what they call breakfast and happy hour in the evening. I felt safe Inside the Hotel itself proper with the security card keys. I saw no security guard on the property which would be nice being on the Riverwalk at night. Overall the rooms are not overseen thoroughly to check for maintenance or cleanliness at one time. If the issues are not reported to the hotel or the staff is not doing routine checks I dont know.? It's not fun to check into a hotel and to continually have to go to the front desk to have something repaired or corrected during your stay. Multiple Issues on both stays. The super friendly staff was one good bonus when correcting the issues. Will definitely give them one more try because it is a nice hotel.
This was a great hotel choice for my business meeting. After a reasonable rideshare from the airport, exploring the city by foot is great, as this hotel is perfectly located on the Riverwalk. The meeting rooms were decent and the catering excellent for lunch and snacks. The hotel also provides a free hot breakfast and an afternoon happy hour for all guests.
My room was really nice, with a high ceiling and waterfall shower head. Noise level was low (in fact, I slept through a nasty thunderstorm one night). There is a good fitness center as well as an outdoor pool and hot tub on the top floor.
I was very happy with this hotel and would consider staying here again for leisure travel.
Very impressive facilities and service staff. There are 2 locations Drury locations downtown San Antonio and I've stayed at both. This location will be my preferred hotel for future visits to the River Walk. In particular, the assistant manager, Lisa, went out of her way to accommodate me and I observed her doing so with multiple other guests. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown San Antonio. Best River Walk experience to date.
