We were extremely happy with our stay. The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included. The dining room had ample space for its guests. The pool area was pretty, too.

Location is close enough to the theme parks and is near some good restaurant choices. Nice property with a pool and hot tub. Staff worshipful, although at one point they actually gave our room to someone else. Never got an explanation, presumably it was human error. A little awkward to have a stranger use their key to get into your room. Our tub also drained very slowly, meaning you finished showering in ankle deep water. Breakfast was solid with eggs, cold stuff and a waffle bar. Rooms are nice with full kitchen and large Tvs. The elevator was pretty slow and there seemed to be an abundance of cleaning staff waiting for the elevator at all times. Not perfect, but would stay again.

My family has been staying here for years on our Disney visits. Couldn’t ask for a more kind or accommodating staff. The breakfast buffet in the morning is wonderful and the rooms are always spotless when you return. Overall a pleasant hotel experience for us for nearly 7 years.

I stayed here for a week with my family during our trip to Disney World. The room was clean and spacious. The front staff, kitchen staff, and night security were nice and friendly. Which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The breakfast was mediocre to say the least. During the weekend it had a variety but during the week it only had powdered eggs and sausage for the hot items which is pretty boring when you're staying 7+ days. The pool is "NOT HEATED" I REPEAT NOT HEATED!!  it felt like an ice cube they did have a Jacuzzi that seats about 5 people however children were playing in it because the pool was FREEZING  cold other than that they had no pool options.  Parking was another little obstacle we could never find a spot so always had to park alongside the hotel at least 5 nights out of our stay. There was construction going on the entire stay for a building next door bright and early which made the down days from the parks not relaxing at all. When the construction wasn't going on the leaf blower was so there was no break in the noise. However the worst part was the concierge or lack thereof the woman was rude and argumentative I needed tickets printed for a park she kept repeating herself saying to just bring my phone and that I didn't need the tickets printed. However on the paperwork it said to print and not bring your phone she did not help me in any type of way I asked for a media center to print of myself went in there however the printer was out of paper so had to wait for that to get filled needless to say the front desk staff or the ones that ended up assisting me with getting my tickets printed. When I got to the park they said if I had brought my phone I wouldn't have been able to get in so I'm glad I insisted on printing my own tickets there concierge is useless. We chose this hotel because it was Marriott and also because our regular hotel we have been frequently going to the last few years during our Disney trip had Renovations so the price was going up excessively. Unfortunately with the limited breakfast, limited parking, and freezing pool among the other issues we encountered we will be continuing to look for our regular Hotel during our yearly Disney trips and will not be back to this location.

Toilet overflowed after day shift ended, the person that came to clean up didn't do a good job. They did unclog the toilet but left towels on the floor and said someone would come back the next day to clean and dry the carpet that had gotten wet outside the bathroom, we aren't sure that actually happened. Depending on the maid depended on if we got toilet paper, trash bags in the trash can or enough towels and wash clothes for 7 people staying in our two bedroom suite. We were here from Saturday til Thursday. Laundry available on upper floors only, dollars for tokens to wash and dry, no quarters. Only two washers and dryers per floor.

Breakfast was very good and replenished often. Arcade/gameroom was nice but small. Employees were very nice.

Hotel is clean and safe. The breakfast is okay. Best part are the mickey mouse Belgian waffles. The rooms do not have a safe. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking on site. Pool area is well kept.

My rating is zero based upon the noise level in my room and three for everything else.. so not a good experience for me. I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties over the years and this one stands out as the absolute worst that I can remember. Unfortunately I was placed in a room facing Interstate 4 and the noise coming from the traffic into my room was really unbelievable and it goes all night long relentlessly. If you’re a light sleeper at all make sure you find an interior room or plan to find a different hotel. I asked to be moved to another room but they couldn’t or wouldn’t accommodate. So much for being a Marriott customer for the last 20 years.

Other than the noise, the hotel is ok but not great. It’s a bit rough around the edges and has a pervasive musty smell which I assume isn’t that unusual for Florida. Not many positives other than the proximity to Disney, Sea World, and Universal but at the same time there’s really nothing close to the hotel so you’ll have to drive to whatever you want to do.

Rooms are very spacious and clean, the hotel is well positioned near many major attractions. There is a full service kitchen within the hotel room which is wonderful. The staff are friendly, altogether a good experience.

We had a great stay here. Nice rooms, staff was super friendly. Great location, right between Disney and Universal. We had two vegans traveling with us and they tried to have something for us to eat at the breakfast too. Went out and got us vegan sausage. I do wish the pool was open later, to at least 10pm like the sign outside by the pool states but the sign inside says 9 and staff said it closes at 9pm. But still very accommodating. Definitely reccomend!

I stay over 100 nights per year with Marriott. I am a multi-year Platinum Rewards member. Generally I have good things to say about Marriott, which is why I choose to stay with them. But this hotel is horrible, and I hope my review serves as a fair warning if you are considering staying. First up: the hotel is in a very favorable location to Disney and Universal. But that's really where the positives end. The place is tired and in desperate need of a refresh in the very dated guest rooms. You'll find missing artwork, dents in walls that are poorly "repaired", missing hardware such as drawer handles and hinges, and the bathrooms.ughthese are especially shoddy with shower heads disconnected from the walls and soap scum/mildew stains in the tub. Parking is inadequate for the number of guests - they regularly run out of spaces. Television reception is HORRIBLE in many different rooms on not only cable, but also basic channels (we checked several rooms!). Finally, the staff at the front desk could care less about delivering the expected Marriott level of service. Requests to the staff are treated as little more than annoyances.and sometimes just flat out ignored. Lest you think this is just one person's isolated bad experience, just scroll through some of the other reviews and you will find that many of these issues are repeated in their comments. If you are a Marriott-loyal traveler please do yourself a favor and choose from the MANY other options in Orlando. This one needs either millions of dollars in capital investment, or perhaps better yet, a bulldozer.

I feel that I would be irresponsible if I did not write a review. I have stayed here 3 times in the past 5 weeks, and I, after s feral chances I do not recommend staying here; this is a shame because the staff are SO nice.

However, I don't feel that having nice staff should overcome the conditions on the property. Each week there was something wrong. These things include broken equipment in the room, no hot water for 5 days on one side of the hotel and, worst of all, black mold in the bathroom and on the shower curtain.

I took pictures of the latter and emailed it to the Manager because black mold can pose health risks for children and the sick, and I never received a response. The staff, though nice, also had no recourse.

I definitely won't be staying here again (I think that 3 chances is enough), and I hope that people with children will avoid this place as well.

I will start off by saying they have a very nice staff. After driving for 11 hours and having 3 rooms for a 7 day stay at a cost of $4000 they could not provide parking. Too many vehicles and the only recommendation they could give was to park on the street at your own risk. No one from the front desk could help our situation. When the manager arrived in the morning his response was you parked somewhere didn't you? We parked illegally and at our own risk. You would think that no matter the cost of your stay ($4000) the hotel could offer parking. Very disappointed in Marriott.

Very old residence Inn. My family and I have stayed at no less than 10 in the last 3-5 years and with the exception of the breakfast bar (the best we have seen) the entire hotel inside and out is in desperate need of a remodel. It's a very poor Marriott property. That being said, it was good enough for our family. Priced at $160 made it about average. Breakfast area was clearly remodeled recently and since we were here for Universal studios, it's all we needed. I would try the sea world location if I could do it over again though. Staff was friendly.

One of the best places to stay at! Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great breakfast! We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was amazing. Very clean and up to date. Breakfast felt like you were at a restaurant. My kids loved the fresh mickey mouse waffles! We will be back.
