The location of this hotel may be off the Strip, but it was easy to get to the Strip. It is also surrounded by a variety of restaurants within walking distance, which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and provided great service. Our room was clean and roomy (we got the suite). Cabinets could use and upgrade but it was not a deal breaker. The complimentary breakfast was awesome, and there is a nice lounge area available for use. On our next trip to Las Vegas we will be booking a room at this Inn.

This is a solid Marriott.

The good:
-The prices are typically pretty good.
-They have a free breakfast. I know, it’s a residence inn, it’s supposed to. But I’ve been to a few, and this one has a decent amount of room for guests, and the food is pretty good.
-The staff has always been very friendly.

The bad:
There really isn’t much bad. This is a basic hotel. There’s nothing outstanding about it. The rooms are very basic. But, you’re in Vegas. You shouldn’t be spending a ton of time at the hotel.

We had 2 nights at the employee rate. They made us come down to check out and back in the 2nd day because they couldn't combine the reservations which over authorized our credit card. They wouldn't let my hubby check in because my name was on the reservation. He got in at 11am and I didn't arrive until 10pm that night so I had to fill out a form and fax it in just so he could check in even though we share the last name and he had his id and cc with his name on it. Then they gave us a room overlooking the ugly roof of another building. I've worked in the hotel industry for many years and when I was at the front desk I would always try to give an employee the best room we had available at the time of check-in because it is a perk of working for the Marriott. A lower rate or employee rate shouldn't mean that you get the crappiest room. I'm very disappointed in this hotel and their treatment of my family and I. This is my second time staying in Vegas both under the associate rate and both times got the room overlooking some old ugly roof. Maybe it's because we're in Vegas and they're used to people trying to scam them and get more than they're entitled too, but maybe it's just because I'm an employee and should settle for less. Shame on you Residence Inn Hughes Center.

Directly across the street from the convention center. Free parking definitely a plus! Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. A full kitchen was a plus as was the free hot breakfast in the lobby. This hotel is a wonderful alternative to a large hotel as there were only two floors. And a definite plus being off the strip. It was a great home away from home for a few days.

Excellent hotel, nice and quiet since it's off the strip, only a 20 minute walk to the strip. Rooms are very spacious and clean with full fridge, sink, small cooktop and microwave. All amenities you could need are here. If we come back we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in May of 2015 and again at the end of July 2017. During the first stay the place looked, and was, practically new. This last stay, I was surprised to see the property was not aging well.
Don't get me wrong. I still rate it at four stars. It's clean. The staff is friendly and competent, as I have come to expect from Marriott hotels of any brand. The location is very nice; close enough to the strip for quick Uber rides, far enough away to have neighboring restaurants with normal prices and to be free of the crazies and urine smell.
I just don't expect to see duct tape fixes on such a new facility.

A very nice hotel. All rooms have kitchen with most of the cooking utensils you need. From pots, pan, spatula, can opener to storage containers, wine glass, mugs. The breakfast is a little above average. They always serve scrabble eggs and two different proteins for breakfast. The rooms are very nice. The hotel is always very clean. Employees are always nice and very friendly. Will definetly stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location-it's near the strip, but far enough away that it's quiet and calm. The palm trees lining the nearby street help make it the perfect spot for an early morning run or dog walk! The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional! They have hot and cold items, and several choices for health-conscious patrons. The whole building is kept very clean. The pool and fitness center are both small, but nice. The amenities in each room (fridge, toaster, range, coffee maker, dishwasher) make it easy to be away from home. The view while seated at the desk or bed is phenomenal! Overall great choice for those traveling alone or with a family! Oh, and lots of nearby restaurants you can walk to.

Nice clean hotel. We actually really enjoyed the fact that it does NOT have a casino in it. We needed a quiet space for when we weren't on the strip (walking distance) or at one of the several restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, nice rooms, affordable. Would recommend it! Guest laundry was a bit expensive, breakfast was not *incredible* but good quality and seemed fresh. Had some issues with our TV where the sound on some channels was just nonexistent.

A Las Vegas favorite, off the strip but close enough its a quick ride up. Its so nice to be able to go back to your hotel and not fight through a casino. Free breakfast in the morning, a small but nice pool and huge rooms.

Clean, modern, spacious room with kitchen, free breakfast, free parking, no resort fee and not far from the Strip and very close to many dining options, including non-chain restaurants in Chinatown. Located in a business park, so generally no zombies hanging around street corners. Needs security cameras on floors other than lobby floor. Would be more secure and reduce the chances of intruders coming to one's door if card key was required to go past lobby area or to use elevators. Pet friendly. Kid friendly.

Rooms were nice and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Close to places to eat and a few shopping places. I like that you need your room key to enter into the hotel after a certain time to limit people who aren't supposed to be there from being there. Only complaints I have is that we were charged $4 per phone call and we never told they charge for that. The clams didn't go through and we still got charged. There was also am unknown $60 cleaning deposit that we didn't know about. When we did our reservation online, it didn't mention that and was told it included the daily tax and all. But we got charged for all this again with no reimbursement . And the hotel is a pretty far walk to the strip and the food from their like mini market is expensive .

We booked this hotel at the last minute, for a one night stay. It's clean, fairly close to the airport, & has everything I have come to expect from Residence Inn Hotels, including fast friendly service! The queen-sized bed was firm, but surprisingly comfortable! The free breakfast was one of the best I have had at any RIH! There were many items to choose from, the food was fresh, properly maintained & quickly refreshed.
My only complaint, I wanted a sprite, but they only offer Pepsi products. I had to walk to a convenience store, about a block away, in order to get my soft drink of choice. (This would not have been an issue, if Pepsi had not ruined Sierra Mist, but that's a whole different story!)
