People are very friendly. great waffles. Very quiet and the shuttle pickup from the airport is awesome. Makes things really easy.

Very nice, clean, friendly and helpful. There is a hot tub and a swimming pool that is handicap accessible.
A very good breakfast with many choices; hot & cold, is provided.
Also, there is adequate parking and transportation to John Wayne Airport.

Outstanding service at the front desk and every interaction with the staff here! Our room is heavenly. Our kitties approve too! Thank you for a wonderful home away from home as we recover from the #tubbsfire in Santa Rosa.

Loved my stay here! Spent some time by the fire with my love, they have THE BEST staff! I've never felt so welcomed at any hotel in my life before and I travel a lot. Breakfast was really good, rooms were beautiful and spacious, the showers have good water pressure, the beds are between firm and soft very clean facility. I'll definitely stay here again.

Great overall hotel but the location is shady (it is Long Beach afterall)! Family and i arrived late 1am. Did not feel safe unloading our things into hotel. Shady people hanging out in parking area. They need more and tighter we security.

I have been to many Residence Inns in my time and this one is definitely up there as one of the best. The rooms and lobby are very up-to-date and trendy, with a mid-century modern vibe. The staff are always nice and friendly, all of them! My grandparents stay often and the staff are always super nice and helpful and accommodating. This Residence Inn is also very close to the airport and many conveniences. I highly recommend this hotel for short, and long-term, stays.

Really gross hotel overall. The place is over run by guests that have at least one dog if not two dogs. These dogs are peeing all over the elevator floors, lobby floors and the carpet in the hallways and the rooms. The place stinks of dog urine. I even saw flees which would be expected from a dog kennel they call a hotel. I used to like staying here but it has been going down hill for a while now. The place is dated and needs a complete remodel of the rooms. They remodeled the lobby but that does nothing for the rooms. Take my advice and steer clear of this hotel as it is more of a dog kennel than a hotel now. I would give it zero stars if I could as I hated my stay here.

By far the best most relaxing complimentary breakfast in the surrounding area. Without having to constantly feel like I'm under dressed I'm able to relax and feel at ease. The room service maid cleaning is always clean except when they touch the alarm when cleaning it making it ring at the most absurd times in the middle of night. Front desk is fine just need to know more about their surroundings in case guests ask about information. I mean you're located next to airport. Shouldn't you know general info about the area. Need more educated staff. The cleanliness is on point. But the amenities arent. The high speed internet is pointless as they're just the same as regular. Why pay for the fee for High speed when its the same? And the option to choose over public WiFi or private wifi. Really? Shouldnt that be a given already?

I had to request another room because the one I had smelled like a fish market. The new room had a strange odor, but not as bad as the first room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is free. No upgrades for elite members.

The staff here is exceptional. All of the front desk staff bring a level of professionalism to the hospitality industry that is so often neglected. Thank you all for the wonderful stay.

Just visiting friends staying in town. Enjoyed social hour with them and hanging out by the bonfire. Nice place.

It was ok but not spectacular. The bed was a little too firm for my tastes. The breakfast wasn't very good and the hours it was open weren't great for lazy people on vacation. Finally, I was sad that the shuttle didn't go to the nearby Amtrak station.
