Our experience here was absolutely perfect! Annie at the front desk made us feel welcome from the second we entered the hotel. She was very kind, funny and genuine with every interaction we had with her. The hotel we stayed at before this was such the complete opposite that I left there really disappointed in the company (and we are super easy-going people so it took a lot). That was NOT the case here! This place was in such a convenient location and parking was not an issue at all. Our room was better than I anticipated and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and caring. The hotel is smaller than others I've been in, but it was nice and quiet. One of my best hotel experiences I have ever had! 10/10 would recommend staying here.

This hotel is quite small, but it is comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient and easy to find. The parking is on the 1st floor with the hotel lobby and rooms above it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were training new people during our stay and it was enjoyable seeing how patient the management was with the new employees.

Fantastic hotel. Trails to the beach right across from the hotel, big clean rooms, comfy beds, decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here at the best western as it was the nicer hotel in the area and closest to our wedding venue. However we didn't expect to have the staff there treat us like we were a part of their family. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, sectioned off the entire room where they serve breakfast so my now wife and her girls could get their hair and makeup done and even brought us customized water bottles that had our names and wedding date on them. Our rooms were even close to that area so we didn't have to go far at all to walk back and forth between rooms and the area where they were getting ready. We will always remember this place and how they made our day stress free and we will always remember how amazing they treated us and made us feel so special.

Very short drive to Sunset Beach which is very enjoyable and recommended. Also a short drive to Huntington Beach, which we did not visit during this trip. There is beach access a short walk away. Not many services within walking distance, however the hotel's on-site parking is very convenient. Prices were fair and the rooms are comfortable, and a good choice if you are planning on visiting this area.

Very pleasant staff (talk with Annie for tips on the area!). Good clean rooms. Continental breakfast is minimal (room to improve). Beach: short drive to ample parking. Wide beaches with good breeze and few people. Enjoyed the dolphins! Short drive to busy peer, shopping, restaurants, and bars at Huntington Beach. Stay here and visit there. Enjoyed our stay. Will return!

Nice little hotel in a great location. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot! The only problem is their price is a bit high. You could argue it's because of the location, but it seemed obvious that the place was only about 1/2 full. Would reducing the price by $25 increase occupancy?

Annie and Elizabeth provided my family with excellent service both before and during our stay at the Best Western Sunset Beach. I called in on a Saturday and Annie arranged to get me a room for Saturday because of a late cancellation. The rooms on the harbor side are very quite. My daughter left a stuffed bear in the room and Annie mailed it to our home to my daughter's delight. A great place to stay and just across the street from the beach.

Wonderful experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large, very cozy & comfortable. Great location! Only place I stay when in Southern California. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever been to!!! The room was amazing and the bed was so comfortable!!! Annie at the front desk was so helpful and friendly!! She made our stay and travels so much easier and convenient!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!!!!

Harbor facing room on high floors are best option. Rooms have been refreshed with bedding, flat screen TVs, and furniture. Electrical system has a few issues to be aware of appliances have tendency to trip breakers. Great location. Worth a second stay.

Clean and very comfortable room. Sink area separate from the bathroom, which we love. Plenty of plug-ins and a nice desk area. The parking is covered so even in bad weather, which we had this trip, you are covered from parking to room. Location is great, you can walk to the beach. Plenty of food close by.
