Room was decorated very modern. I loved the hard floor as opposed to carpet. The restaurant was very accommodating to alternate diet needs. Facility was very clean. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient. Valet parking was effortless and the staff were very courteous. We enjoyed our stay.

I am a platinum Elite Marriott traveler and I am disappointed that this Marriott does nothing to show the platinum Elite members that they are special. There was no welcome gift or upgrade of a room. They say that they will give you a view and balcony. But, the balconies are foot in depth, your not going outside so the balcony is worthless. The M Club is limited in what they provide. The food was sub par and the ambiance is nothing to write home about. Disappointing to say the least!!!!!

I am writing this and posting five stars even though I was not a guest at this hotel. I inadvertently landed in their lobby after leaving John Wayne International Airport and with the most wonderful and professional assistance from Sabrina at guest registration, I was able to arrive at my intended location.
With great appreciation to her and a recommendation of this beautiful location for a stay while in Irvine, I say "Thank you!"

I’m on the road weekly traveling everywhere. This is my favorite hotel. I’ve stayed in every kind of hotel and the quality of this Marriott is above average. They recently renovated it. Doesn’t appear they’ve updated the exterior so it’s an extra surprise when you walk in.
There’s something about the staff that stands above any other hotel. I’m always greeted at the door and the front desk finds a way to boost your mood anytime you interact with them. They are polite, professional and happy. I’m truest amazed at the hotel staff. They are a different breed.
I was just eating dinner in the restaurant listening to live music - unexpected for a Tuesday evening!

We had our 30th anniversary at the Irvine Marriott last week Nov 4, 2017. We and our guests had a fun night and we want to thank the staff at Marriott for making it such a great event. We want to especially thank Chef Pedro and Chef Long Le for the amazing appetizers and dishes that everyone truly enjoyed. The appetizers were truly wonderfully tasty and well presented. The steaks were really juicy and the sea basses were soft and fantastic. The soup was delicious and the salad was really fresh. Last but not least, we also want to thank the event manager Natalie McLaughlin for her help in organizing such a great and warm event for us with great attention to details.

Modern well-maintained property that has clearly undergone extensive renovation. Free breakfast and 24/7 lounge access for Gold members and above, while the outdoor pool is a tranquil oasis to rest. This property is ideal for both business or pleasure, and one of the best in the Orange County area. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice facility. Well appointed, staff are friendly & respectful. Updated rooms are very comfortable. Bed is excellent. And the coup de grace: Starbucks in the lobby!

I absolutely love this hotel. The check in staff is very friendly and efficient. The bar is great and Bento is my favorite person to see there when I sit down. The updated rooms are spacious and clean. The gym is the best hotel gym I have ever seen and they have a lot of great equipment.

Newly renovated rooms, modern, stylish, posh, but the attentiveness of the staff is what I'll remember best. I had a few suggestions pertaining to the renovations that were just done. This team at the front desk went above and beyond to fix the problem and more than made it up to me. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend it.

I had a few drinks at the "You Never Know" speakeasy type bar. All in all I had a great time. Bartender was very knowledgeable and drinks were amazing. Get the old fashioned

I really like the rooms here. The lobby has a good Starbucks, which is nice as you head out to a meeting.

They have a really good m longer and a great patio.

Parking is expensive and if you don't valet you pay almost the same and have a much longer walk in store for yourself.

Not too much to walk to from the hotel. Good gym but didn't try the spa.

Excellent Experience! I recently stayed here while attending a week-long business trip and was very impressed with my entire experience. The rooms were recently updated and remodeled, with a very fresh, clean feeling. I really enjoyed the M-Lounge and the European/Modern feel of the entire hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. I recommend staying here.
