I have been to Regal Cinemas Alamo Quarry 16 at least 5 plus times over the years. The negatives of this movie theater were not obvious Everything seemed to be ok. The only positives was it was convenient to my location. I would likely recommend this cinema to any movie goer that would love to shop before or after the movie.
Usually I have a better experience in this place but tonight the braker went out and blacked out the theatre and the managers handled this so, so poorly. First all, the male manager with longer, black hair was on his phone while taking orders at the concession stand and wasn't very friendly. Then when the blackout happened they both weren't very sorry. The male manager was giving the refunds and didn't apologize at all, was very short with everyone. I understand it was out of their control, but APOLOGIZE, do your job to make people come back.
This hoe is lit! I went to see IT and it was spontaneous. Shout out the the upstairs ticket giver guy. He tore my ticket so cleanly and I’d go back just for that. I think Fredward was his name. Give that man a raise!
I had not been here in a while, but don't think I'll be back. Ladies in the concession are so rude. And what theater doesn't have brown bags to give. I have a family of six we usually get the biggest popcorn and theaters give us extra brown bags to put the popcorn so we don't have to be passing down the bucket. And popcorn was not even good, nachos did not have no taste. My pizza was so cold and somewhat burnt. Coke was waterdowned.
Terrible. Waited in the long line, purchased our tickets to see Annabelle. Got upstairs and the lady taking the tickets said that there was a sound issue with this movie and that we can go back downstairs and see the movie for a later showing time. We then had to wait in another long line, about half way through one of the employees announced that the next showtime for Annabelle was sold out. We then got a refund. When we purchased our tickets no one informed us that there was an issue with this movie. If we purchased a ticket for the earlier showing time, we should have been guaranteed a ticket for the later showing time since there was an issue with our movie time. We will not return to this place. Poor management and lack of communication.
Saw Cars 3 in Auditorium 10 on July 1st. The auditorium smelled of mildew and the seats were slightly damp. I don't know if they had cleaned them recently. No problems with the feature presentation. Other areas of the theatre we're not very clean such as the long escalators. Not crowded at all and easily went through line and concessions. Staff was friendly.
It seems like they haven't updated the theaters in over a decade. The theater we sat in smelled like a nursing home, and the chairs had seen better days. Unfortunately the Drafthouse has bad times for 3d movies so we came here, I'm now regretting the decision.
My son was bitten all over his arm and leg by a bed bug at this theatre. This theatre smells moldy and seems messy all of the time as it is. I understand a business can have a bad day, so I've given this theatre SEVERAL chances over a few years. This was the very last time we will be visiting this theatre. I called the manager and asked if there had been any complaints of bed bug bites. I was just told, "Nope!" At least tell me you'll look into the matter.thats what I was hoping to hear from him. He didn't even ask what theatre we were in or when. This was obviously not a big deal.and since they showed ZERO interest or concern on the subject, my suggestion is DONT RISK IT. You and your loved ones might be the next bed bug bite victims. Wish I could pick ZERO stars.
Great snacks and good marketing. I really enjoy this place and I like how you can keep your 3D glasses. The bathrooms are really unsanitary though. Very cold, bring a blanket so you don't be that guy with your arms and knees in your shirt.
Expensive snacks, but their rewards system is GREAT and the theaters are always clean and never smelly. Bring a blanket, they keep it cold!! I come here ATLEAST twice a month, although I do wish they had a policy against bringing infants, pretty annoying trying to watch a movie with a baby crying.
I am disappointed. By reading the reviews that rave about the theatre and especially about its cleanliness. It feels like there must be staff posting positive reviews to balance out the ratings. I have not been able to return because of the dusty, musty smell of the carpets and theater in general. Tried it twice both times had to leave triggered asthma. I really don't want a patronizing response from the owner. Instead I'd love to see major corrections.
