I've spent the better part of the last two years at SAC. When I came to SAC I was at a low point in my life. After quitting a job I hated for 3 years, I knew I needed something to pull be out of the uneducated working class into a better field. When I was in high school, I never took the ACT or SAT, and being out of school for at least 4 years meant most of my mathematics and writing skills were not where they needed to be to excel at these tests. In addition to this, I was looking for hope and inspiration in our society again, as my previous choice of employment had stripped most of my enjoyment and confidence in American society away. SAC, for me, was the perfect segway into University. This school not only got me back on track with my writing and arithmetic skills, but it inspired me again and gave me hope for the future. There were struggles during my education here but the faculty and community was amazing in assisting me to over come these issues. The best advice I could give to new students looking at SAC as an option is seriously consider it. Invest yourself into this school and it will invest back into you. You only get what you put into it. Thursday was my final day of school at this campus and I truly didn't know how much of an impact this school had on me until I was on my way home holding back tears because I realized this was my last day of class here for the foreseeable future. Thank you SAC!

Don't waste your money. Everything is terribly run and getting any changes in schedule or other information is impossible. There's much better schools around. I ended up withdrawing in October to change schools and I have just found out that the school never actually bothered to process my withdrawal so I am on the hook for their error.

It's pretty easy to get around and find your way . Not right now thought cuz there is construction like everywhere. Mainly in front of the Gonzales hall. But other than that good🙂

I dont attend this school but visited for the eclipse viewing event. Some of the science professors were explaining astronomy. Very informative but the did not seem to plan for as many people were there.

Advising never answer the phone and when I do finally get someone they are rude and don't fully answer my question or help. I'm treated more as a number than an actual person. I understand you deal with freshman like me but I'm not understanding much and school starts soon. I'm disappointed in SAC and why everyone claims it's good. Rude people and others obviously don't know what they are talking about and trying to fight me.

All of the staff at this college is just trying to get out of doing work. When you call you get transferred a minimum of 2 times. All of the classes are so easy its a joke just to make money. To enroll or graduate can take months and months a regular university is even actually faster, that's because people at SAC don't want to do their job. You get what you pay for, it's a cheep college

I don't know how people have had difficult experiences with the administration. They've always been so helpful and prompt in their responses to me. I was able to finish my degree program quickly and transfer quickly. I can't speak for all the instructors, some were great, others not so much but overall, I thought SAC was an amazing institution. There are tons of resources and if you excel, scholarships and funding are abundant here!

My social experiences here were generally good, but I found my teachers to be dispassionate in their work - again, generally. There were three out of a good fifteen over my years at SAC that gained my respect - all of the others were lacking in so much enthusiasm for what they were doing that I couldn't possibly learn what they were 'teaching' me thru textbook and online programming. Experiences are differing.

It's an amazing school! Have had so many amazing experiences so far and I hear many people complain about the admissions office. Then again, I applied for SAC at Palo Alto College so I never even called the admissions office once.

For me, it took 3-4 different visits to get the full understanding of a specific program. Prepare to be on a roller coaster ride full of busy phone lines, unending transfers, inadequate information provided, the list goes on. There are some VERY weird students that go there. TEACHERS HAVE BEEN GREAT. Yes, the price is good, I'm not complaining. Just a warning, BEWARE of Academic advisor's. And I know im not the only one that has experienced this, but I know it's not just SAC its every college. They may seem like they are telling you everything, until you realize they didn't! Good luck! Anyway, I'm glad it's cheap!

Fantastic school with a great staff. They have really stepped up their game the last few years, the facilities are modern and look amazing, the campus actually looks nice. Would recommend anyone take classes here.
