Overall I'd say that it's an okay hotel. I'm also not paying the bill so keep that in mind as well. The cleaning staff this far have come through and cleaned at inconsistent times of the day. The beds are comfortable and for 2 people comfortably.
The stay here us good if you want to spend your time enjoying the beach.
Although it is far from the main attractions so plan to spend time and money to get there and come back.
Also, the spring bed to my surprise had couple of loose springs which squeaked sometimes.
No self parking, just $20/day Valet Parking.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by luxury and beautiful buildings. Has an amazing beach front, decent size swimming pool. Carpets on every floor are the worst thing about this hotel. They should do some renovation and take off the Carpet because in some floors the carpet smells bad.
Some of the employees at the front desk are friendly and some others are not friendly at all.
If you have a car, you must pay a valet parking fee even if you booked a room here. I wasn't too happy about that. The room I had came equipped with a kitchenette which was unexpected but wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Unfortunately during this stay, I did not need to use the facilities there so it was useless. The building seems to need some upgrades especially when you're walking down the hall to find your room.
Nice and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and smelled so good. It is an older hotel but is well taken care of.
HORRIBLE!!!, I got scammed when shopping around for a hotel in Miami, all the advertising pictures were like a 5 start hotel, but it wasn't, it was either other rooms or fixed pictures (photoshop), this hotel is disgusting (zero stars), specially the rooms. I made a reservation for two nights and required a room with kitchen. The hotel gave me a room totally different of what I saw in the pictures, that room was completely outdated, for real this room was having a 1980's look, the stove was not working at all and the shower much less (I think these rooms are time sharing), I moved the beds out from their location and I found trash and dust. I stayed one night on that room and required the next day a new room, this one was a little much better but unfortunately the hot water in the shower was not working, and I found new friends during the night (COCKROACHES). No self parking, so you are obligated to pay $20 per day. I talked with the front counter to explained my bad experience, they just offered me 1 more hour to stay at the hotel (No free night, no discount, no apologies, no late checkout, NADA). Overrall my vote is zero start, don't waste your money and time on this hotel.
The room reeked of mold. There was a board in place of a window. There was mold on the ceiling and walls. There was an socket with a missing outlet and a lamp without a bulb. The room was DISGUSTING and should not have been available to rent. I was however very pleased with Alejandro, the rep that checked me out promptly . He was very empathetic, courteous and professional. He handled a disappointing experience with care and concern.
My daughter and I stayed at the Marco Polo in Miami two weeks ago. I had an issue with checking in but the manager I can't remember her name in the end, the manager took care of it and gave us a nice room. Daniel R. Reyes, the security officer, was also very nice to us. The concierge Liedes was so very nice and friendly. We really liked her. She was so funny and engaging.
Angelo and James of Concierge and Valet services were very knowledgeable and exemplary in their services. Wonderful front desk staff as well. .The location on the beach was perfect for us. We loved our experience at your resort. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
This place is amazing, very clean, beach is unbelievable, pool is great, front desk is out of the space. Just love it. Coming back soon. Thank you Ramada for making our (especially my husband surprise birthday and father's day)so unbelievable. 😚
Dope spot! Nearby accommodations! Beach and pool access! Pizza spot and store! I enjoyed my stayonly 4 stars because it's North Miami. But i love the location!
THE WORST VACATION of my life!!! First, EVERYTHING is broken in the rooms. The first room we were given had doors fallen off of kitchen cabinets and the bathroom door broken - I mean IN HALF! The second room also had everything broken - chairs with no bottoms, broken drawers, lamp shades with holes in them, water dripping from the ceiling - for days on end, so there was always a puddle in the kitchen Oh, and heat/air conditioning deserves a special mention: it turns on only if you switch it ALL THE WAY UP or ALL THE WAY DOWN! It has only two modes: FREEZING COLD or SCORCHING HOT!!! You pick During the day you can babysit it by turning back and forth all the time to maintain a tolerable temp, but at night, you know, you need to be able to SLEEP!!! WITHOUT waking up several times per night so hot like you are in hell, or so cold like you fell asleep in a freezer. And then having to get up and run to turn it up or down yet again. Exhausted from the wild temperature swings, by the end of the third day I finally called maintenance - which showed up three hours later, close to MIDNIGHT - and claimed I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT: "Can't you see - you just turn it all the way up - and it starts!" Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed! After enlightening me on the use if their incredible system, they concluded everything was just fine and departed!!! And I had seven more days to go!!! I honestly couldn't wait to get out of there!!! By the way, I have pics to prove every word I say. Please note a thermostat set at 50F in attached pictures. Other joys: parking is $25/day, plus valets help themselves to your cash left in the car. All the coins my husband has been saving for tolls the entire year have been mysteriously evaporating between giving the car to a valet to park and bringing it back, until one day they were but a memory. More fun - the hotel's security staff will not let you to the beach unless you are completely dressed (on the basement level!) and unless you give them your full name and room number - every single time you go to the beach Hey, do I really need to be harassed that much on my vacation? Then why not have me fill out an application with my past addresses and employment history, with my signature notarized, to be admitted for a day to your (public!) beach? That would make even more sense. At the same time, you can easily walk around to that very same beach through the main lobby - dressed any way you like and without giving out any personal information to some strangers - and no nazi will dare to bother you. So, what's exactly the point of all that lower level "Security"?.. Overall, nasty unsatisfactory experience. I wish I never had those "wonderful memories".
I stayed in a room on the fifth floor on my first night I walked in on a lady in my room, there were holes in the bath tub and cracks that could cut you, the tub was dirty in general with lots of soap scum like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the bed was so hard me nor any of my guests slept, and the final straw was that I had a neighbor come out on her balcony at 12 noon to tell me she was sleeping and we needed to be quietThe balconies are also easy to climb over so anyone can go into your room from another balcony if you forget to place the lock on Thankfully our room was changed to the seventh floor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Specifically Viviana and Elizabeth at the front desk. It had an ocean view this time which was lovely and thankfully the beds were super soft this time but the tub still had holes in the walls The valet is $20 a night and there is no other way to park. The beach is absolutely beautiful and right near a lovely pool area. All in all I would stay there again but i would definitely request a room facing the ocean and on a floor higher than the fifth.
The resort amenities were really nice. I went to visit a friend who was staying at The hotel. The valet parking for guests was 14 dollars. I went in and the hotel was rather nice. It sits Right off the beach so if you have a room on the upper levels, you can clearly view the ocean. They have 2 pools. One for toddlers and a regular pool. Its a salt water pool which was a very pleasant surprise. It did not have a strong smell of chlorine or anything which was nice. When visiting my friend's room, the room was really nice. They have a rather large refirgerator with freezer. There was a kitchen sink, coffee maker and microwave. The bathroom could have used some thorough cleaning though as the tile walls and the tub looked kind of dingy. The view to the ocean was a nice perk and I like the overall look of the rooms. Ultimately, I had a good time at the hotel even if I wasn't staying there. :)
